Okay, so I have been to this shop many times in the last few years. I love the staff, and the fact you can get a lot of things not offered at other shops, like jewels or sns. Now here is why I give 4 stars over 5. It adds up and most of the time they are up front on those prices, but a few times I get something to find out it's a lot extra after the fact. For example, my last set I got almond baby bomber nails. I was told up front it was extra for the shape, and the ombre. Okay, I left paying $70 something plus tip. On part for ombre solar. This time I went in for a fill and got little jewels, cost $62. No break down or even it's this, before running the card. My mistake for not asking about jewel pricing and again not crazy, but I would have passed on the gems if I knew the price of each. Will I go back, YES YES YES. They do great work and now I know for the future, budget else where. If you want it done right, and stylishly go here! Have a great time!! read more

I got a gel manicure and a few weeks later called to make an appointment to have the gel manicure removed. when asked if i wanted to have another gel manicure i asked to have just a regular clear polish instead. Yet I was charged as much as a gel manicure and 1 week later when i removed the regular polish, i noticed that my nails still were covered with the old glue from the initial gel they did on my nails. They basically never removed the old gel properly and it really damaged my nails! Additionally, the woman who did my nails cut me on the sides because of how she used the nail file. No filing of the nails, no old polish to remove, just add polish. 2 ladies working on me at the same time, done in under an hour. I was aghast when they told me what I owed. $50 for the polish application on my hands and $70 for the pedi!!!!!! The nails look ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. Even recommended a color that would make my ombré pop more than the one I chose. I paid $93 for my full set, which sounds spendy, however, I went in already knowing all of the additions I wanted would cost extra, and was happy to pay it to have my nails how I wanted them :) I will be returning, time and time again, and am looking forward to my next fill! Great pedicure here. Offer mimosa or other beverages. Each station has a plastic liner adding to further the cleanliness of the shop. Offer a huge variety of nail color. I chose shellac mood changing polish. Holds up to river, pools and summer time sand. Then it's like I got 2 color option as it changes with hot or cold. Such a great option! They do a nice job. No complaints and recommended. This shop is quite busy so you must call a few days in advance for an appointment, especially for a fill. Great atmosphere and location. read more

Never again. How are you going to charge $25 extra in top of a full set for "length?" I asked her not to paint my nails because I was in a hurry and she still charge me 65$ for a full set! They are not solar powder, they were not gel, they were basic acrylic nails. The lady said how she never saw this long of nails in 2 years! This is a lie. Or no one goes to you because you charge extra. The rest of the people seemed really nice and had good customer service but the woman I got would not talk to me and was incredibly slow. For some reason I felt guilty like I still had to leave a tip and I was only going to leave 5$ but I took a dollar off for each finger she cut while doing my nails. My experience wasn't horrible but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. I had made an appointment for a full set with a coffin shape. As he was cutting them he goes and tells me it will be extra for the length. Never have I heard of being charged extra, but that's just me. When I asked him to cut it shorter he tells we we can't or else the shape won't look good. I then had a bit of acrylic under one of my nails to which he roughly yanked out with his own nail instead of using the filing tool. This cause a crack and not even a week later the whole tip had come off. It would've lasted longer in my opinion if there wasn't a crack. He also didn't take the time to cut my cuticles and bent my hands in an uncomfortable manner. Costed me about $70 with tip when I could go somewhere else for cheaper. I did love my nails but would never come back. Also the owners are very nice and sweet, this was another nail tech who I think does just full sets. What also bother me was how their shop has "Walk ins available" but turned down every person that came in when the shop was not that busy. read more

This is an amazing place to get your nails done compared to all the other options you have around the area. When you walk in you are always greeted with a warm hello, you'll also notice how organized and clean they are which is amazing because every other nail salon ive been to has papers all over their desks, dust every where and the nail table filled with unnecessary things. File u Fancy has none of that. My nails are absolutely amazing! Michael did such a wonderful job, and he took his time too. They look like my natural nail except longer and stronger. He made sure every nail looked perfect as well as made sure that I loved them as well. They listen to the client, which other places never do! Extra Tip: Call atleast 6 hours or the day before you want to get your nails done, otherwise you might not get an appt. that day. They keep a very organized schedule because of how busy they are.
