I get a pretty simple single-color gel manicure & pedicure, but this one is perfection. Place was clean and smelled good. Staff were very friendly. Came here yesterday for a mani and pedi with a friend. Pedis turned out okay. Manicures on the other hand were a nightmare. We both opted for dip nails. The man who did my nails cut the actual hell out of my cuticles. To the point they were bleeding. When it comes to washing the nails they have 3 brushes. That are used for all the same customers. So we go, wash our bloody cuticles with a brush and stick it back into the bin for the next person to come and use Without being thoroughly sanitized. Nails turned out overly thick in the end. Friend had to redo hers twice due to bubbling on the dip polish. Overall took more than 2 hours for her to get out of there. After the male finished my nails I proceeded to pull my card out to pay. He walked away without apologizing for cutting my fingers up, and without having me pay. I had to ask somebody else to even charge me. read more

This is my daughter's favorite place and I know why. They treat her like family. I've been with her here a few times and they dote on her and follow her life with updated questions on her latest stories. It's a pretty big place so you've got plenty of seats to sit down and stick your toes in the water. They also have the most in nail polish color I've ever seen! I was just dumbstruck because usually I have to settle on what other salons have. This time I had to really think about which one I liked best. This goes with shellac colors as well. This was only my 3rd pedicure experience ever, and I am happy I came here! After a lack luster experience in Clackamas a few months ago, I wanted to try a new place. I found this nail salon and was happy with the entire appointment. From the greeting, to the hot stone pedicure, to the clean up of my fingernails. This place was horrible. The employees were rude and they did not care about their customers. I got a manicure here and right when I put my hands down on the table to have them start, the employee just start laughing and then started speaking Vietnamese to her friend (which I know they were talking crap about me). On top of that, all my nails were uneven, not rounded, or anything because of them. Some of my nails were even crooked. I thought it was very rude of them to say bad things about my nails and then proceed to give me a bad manicure. In my opinion, don't ever come here. read more

Best of the Best! I have been coming here for several years now and the ladies that run it know what they're doing! They do fantastic work each and every time. They also provide an array of waxing services along with nails and pedicures. This salon also has the largest amount of acrylic color choices I have ever seen. I have to get a new color each month just so I can try them out! They also have shelac, crackle paints, and a wide assortment of nail color. Very clean, friendly atmosphere. I was very disappointed with the services I received here. The pedicure was great, but my manicure was awful. I asked to upgrade to the shellac mani. They charged me $20 but didn't inform me that it only included nail shaping and polish. They didn't even push back my cuticles. Apparently you could get them pushed back for an additional $5, but that wasn't even offered. Also a drill was used on my natural nails to buff them. The shape was horrible. She didn't even out the lengths and one hand is really square shaped and the other side is rounded. Finally they didn't even use shellac products. The polish itself was shellac brand, but the top coat and base coat were not. I will not return and in the future will go to a salon that uses the shellac products correctly. read more

Never again: I arrived at 2P for my appt. Mimi greeted me saying she had an errand but someone would be with me in a moment. There were 2 other workers who were busy with pedis so I took a seat. At 2:15P Mimi returned, asked me to sit at her station which I did. Then she moved me 2 stations down and said someone would be right with me. . . . "Alice" sat down to do my nails without saying anything. I said hi and I needed to get acrylic nails and she began. She was very rough and as a result she nicked 6 of my fingers. She laid a lot of product on my nails then shaped them. I told her I wanted to have them shaped in a "squoval". Only 3 came out right. When she was buffing them you would have thought she was buffing a board. I have never had my nails so harshly treated. So, no tip for her and I will not be returning here again. I hate to leave a terrible review, but I don't want the same to happen to you. I went to Max Nails for a full set today, "Alice" did my set. She started off just fine, but when it came to the hand filing and electric, she sliced up almost ALL of my fingers, and I understand sometimes those little nicks happen, however not once were sanitation laws practiced to clean each cut, when I pulled my hand back to look, she immediately grabbed it back and continued working, hell, I didn't even get "I'm sorry" I usually do my own nails, but I thought it would be a nice, relaxing treat to have someone do them for me. If I could give Alice a worse review I would. She was pushy, pissy, and unpleasant. Do not go with her. I was in the salon to get manicure and pedicure done. She told me she would start with my manicure first and gave me the shilac samples to pick from. I picked the color I wanted and she said "pick other. we don't have". I took about 2 minutes to decide on another color and in her eyes I wasn't picking it fast enough so she took it upon herself to pick for me! I said "Um, no. I don't want that color." She did not like that so when another client came in a minute later she said she wasn't going to do my nails because I took to long to pick and directed me to go and get my pedicure done first now by someone else (Mimi). I was beside myself. I not only was polite when I arrived and did not even take long (my appointment was at 6 and it was barely 6:05). On top of all of this I am a paying AND scheduled customer. I went to this Nail salon b/c I had just moved to this area. The nail tech turned on the jet to the pedi and the jets must have released some kind of residue particles because the next thing I knew my water turned black!! The owner then approached me and asked me if I could move to the next pedi chair, her excuse was "the employees are suppose to handles this, I apologize." Not only am I disgusted by the uncleanliness experience that I had, I am also disgusted with how unethical this was handle. What I witness while I was there I couldn't believe, pedicure thrones that were not disaffected after each client, dangerously risking their health by dipping their feet in bacteria-laden water. It made my skin crawl!! . The fact that they don't disinfect there tools and implements after each use is completely unsanitary. Pictures of pedicures-gone-bad are seared into my brain!! The conditions look particularly painful, even to me-- made my stomach turn. Don't become one of these "victims." It is pure greediness if you ask me!! read more

I have gone here for 2 years. A friend of mine, my daughters and their friends as well. Although pricing is usually fair and typical gossip is often kept to a minimum......I have had my heels shaved twice in a pedicure (illegal in Oregon btw) where my heels were cut and I ended up with an infection from it. ( I do wear flip flops, but that should NEVER had been cut in the first place) Also, after complaining about a recent issue where I was developing nail fungus at the sight of my last fill (from Rose), her tools were dirty. There were no visable cleaning agents being used to disinfect file heads or clippers, I spent almost 3 hours fighting to get the nails removed and a new set put on........just to be charged $43 for said service. I was told by Mimi (owner) that they would discount it, they were sorry and it had never happened before...............yet after complaining on FB, a friend of mine said she recently had the same experience there.
