I haven't been back since the pandemic, when I lost my mind over Very Fresh Noodles and because we…read morehad to eat outside, I didn't even get to explore much of anything. I visited right after opening, a little after 10 am (many businesses do not open until 11am, like my beloved Seed+Mill). My first impression was that it reminded me of a food hall similar to what I experienced in various cities in Japan. The variety of foods available is impressive and you really can find it all here, from an Italian grocer to Japanese to the various food stands offering everything from BBQ to the best halvah I've ever had. And there's a Pearl River Mart and other places to find gifts and souvenirs. My favorite of this ilk is Muji Market, which has all the Japanese amazing things! Also of note: very clean bathrooms. It reminds me of the bathrooms at Grand Central, a lot of stalls, sinks in the center, only much, much more pleasant. I'll be back as soon as I can. It's silly that I didn't come here when I actually lived in New York.

Swung by on a Saturday evening at 9pm for about 30 minutes while waiting for a late dinner…read morereservation. The physical location is open to 10pm though most shops and restaurants inside are closed by 8-9pm, only a handful of places like Chote Miya, Miznon, and La Devocione were still open though also wrapping up business for the evening. Wanted to highlight a few more stores here for this review: - Moon Man Foods: a Brooklyn-based company, they have a small stand about a third of the way thru the market (walking east to west), selling southeast Asian kaya jam, which is coconut-based and contain eggs, coconut milk, sugar, starch, and salt. They come in pandan, ube, and Java palm sugar (aka gula melaka) flavors. - Pearl River Mart and Pearl River Mart Foods: back in the day they used to be located in SoHo on Broadway, though rising rents made them relocate, and I'm glad they're still around! They carry all sorts of Asian-inspired decor, serving ware, stationery, and their "Foods" location downstairs is combination of Asian grocery, bubble tea (Milk & Tea), and Korean and Chinese snack/takeout stands (Kimbap Lab and Mao's Bao's). - Muji Market: this is a smaller location that carries a narrower assortment than your average Muji (house wares, basic apparel, accessories, kitchenware, snacks), though they have a full cafe serving coffee and matcha, simple Japanese lunch items like bowls, sandwiches and bento. Cafe prices seem a little higher probably due to the location. - gallery art: there is a small whitewashed hallway gallery of maybe a couple dozen small pieces by local artists, featuring NYC-centric photos, sketches, paintings, multi-media. Found this fun and entertaining!

Luckily this Nordstrom Rack is close to the train station so it is very convenient to commute here…read more Came here to find a sterling silver bracelet or necklace by Argento and there were a few sterling silver left. I must admit Nordstrom organizes their jewelry well. All the boxes were neatly displayed on their shelves. Just the bad thing is the top shelf is very high and you need assistance or a ladder to look at them so that sucks. This is one of the most organized stores ever with all the accessories lined up and stored in an orderly fashion. There are rarely any loose accessories or misplaced product in the store. Made the shopping vibe feel a lot better. It is also very clean and carpet is nice to walk on without any dirt or loose garbage. By the checkout, there are aisles of mini and travel size lotions and facial cleansers from Kiehl's and Clinique that are almost winding down so they are that popular! I thought the cashiers were kind of slow because there were 3 of them working on the customers when there were so many cashier registers available for employees to go to. I wish they open more registers so the long line can go faster.

Had a really efficient experience at Nordstrom Rack recently. I needed to return a couple items…read morefrom an online order, and the entire process super quick (was in and out in under 5 minutes). Staff was friendly as well. Also appreciated the proximity to the train station, which made the entire errand a lot quicker than I anticipated!

This is a massive outlet store spanning over three floors. Most of the store is filled with apparel…read moreitems for men and women. In the lower floor, are the men's products and clearance sections. Main floor has home goods, sunglasses, watches, purses in limited quantity, also lots of women's apparels. Second floor has dresses and shoes. The store was mostly tidy. Walking thru the cramped aisles was little tough. There were only two fitting rooms from what I heard the staff saying . The Clearance sections had sale items up to 80%. I liked a $49 Scotch & Soda t-shirt tagged for only $7. The deal made my day. Checkout process was quick. I got to use my Bloomingdale's cash rewards for the purchase. Overall it was a nice store and seemed to be popular among the city locals.

Many racks and sections for men's women's clothings, bags, accessories etc. 3-4 fitting rooms for women. They definitely need more fitting rooms. The staff were very nice. I couldn't find my size so the staff took it off the mannequin for me. She did mention it was a popular sell and whatever they have left were all on display. Also the fitting room staff was patient and friendly. She gave advice to other customers as well. Great price value in this store. All the items have some sort of discount. But when it's on the sale rack, usually it's the largest size available.

Additionally, I don't find that the staff is as friendly as they used to be. Two women sit in the back, on their cell phones Until you approach them. That's not a big deal, what is a big deal, is the sign outside that says $25 mix-and-match for items or more. Inside of course that's not the case. You shop thinking this is the way it used to be. I've made $102 purchases at a time here getting four and eight items Respectively. Today, only one of my items was 25, the other was 30 (because it had no tag and she couldn't price it) the third item was 40 and the fourth item was 60. Almost feels like a bait and switch, however, they did tell me they run different promotions at different times. That may be the case. But I'm really not gonna waste my time coming in anymore.
