Wow, blown away by how great this was. Small space. Order at counter. Large attractively plated servings. Delicious bread! I ordered falafel platter. Falafel soft and tasty. Served with very interesting slaw kale salad. Lots of sides. Pita toasts incredible. Really impressed!

1000% yes. Everything was phenomenal! I meaaannn the fries with fresh toum (creamy, whipped garlic dip), chicken sandwich (which honestly deserves a name that elevates it to the status it's earned as it was covered in fresh cucumber and pickled veggies and wrapped in a fresh pita), the hummus, the Brussels sprouts (hands down best I've had), the falafel. They're also extremely sustainable, have the homiest atmosphere, and offer truly premier service (table of four of us received everything in 8 minutes.) Bonus points to the lovely host who literally ran a block to let me know I'd forgotten my bag. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. OH and the salted/sweet most perfect chocolate chip cookie EVER

1000 Figs is a cute Mediterranean cafe serving the best spiced chicken platter that's healthy, flavorful, and satisfying. We also tried the chicken sandwich, but it was smaller and had less value than the platter. Service was quick and excellent, and the space is bright and thoughtfully decorated. Heads up seating is limited and street parking is residential only. We would recommend visiting during happy hour which is Monday-Friday from 3-5 PM!

Amazing Mediterranean food quality ingredients great umami type of flavors and the food was ready 7-8 minutes after placing the order. Mediterranean chicken with hummus and salad And Mediterranean chicken sandwich with pickled cabbage. The place has great ambiance and decor. Friendly staff and great variety of vegetarian options. Meat eaters can find a chicken dish. But this wouldn't be a choice for red meat people. Try anything and you'll be happy. I also ordered bread with side of Tzatziki. It was addictive and I wanted more. This is a highly recommended food experience. Parking could be about 2 blocks away on a Friday night. Hopefully you get lucky, they only have street parking and this is in a neighborhood with many other eatery's and shops.

It's been forever since we've gone to 1000 Figs and we lucked out and were able to get a table on a Friday night. It was my first time eating inside and it's very beautiful but it was a bit warm after our brisk walk. We got an order of the fries to split. I could eat the toum dipping sauce with a spoon it's so good! I also got the chicken platter and added a side of hummus and whipped feta. The chicken is nicely spiced and I loved the combination of that and the zhoug sauce. The salad wasn't my favorite since it was full of celery. If you're a fan of celery you'll love it! The bread is fresh and delicious. It's a large portion. Next time I go I'm going to try the falafel!

Amazing little place! Very fresh, and delicious Mediterranean cuisine. 1000 Figs is a hidden gem! It's on the second floor. I didn't see an elevator, but there is seating outside. You may be able to order ahead and sit outside without having to go up the stairs. We sat inside. We both ordered the falafel platter. The portions are pretty big. Everything was fresh and delicious. The tables have little drawers in them that hold the cutlery and napkins! What a great idea! It was very busy the day we had lunch here. There were no tables open and it got pretty loud. The servers were all very nice and welcoming. The artwork in the restaurant is really cool too! I highly recommend coming here. I'll definitely be back.

My wife and I really enjoyed going to 1000 Figs. It was pretty crowded, so I would plan to go right as it opens or plan to get your food to go. Service: There was a bit of service, but mostly you order at the counter and then they bring it out to you. Food: Hummus / Bread - great start to our meal. And I liked dipping the chicken that came out later in the hummus too. Chicken Pita - very flavorful, and if you prefer a sandwhich, the this is good. Only complaint was that the pita kind of fell apart while eating (but no worries as long as you're good using the fork to eat everything that fell out). Chicken Plate - this was our top item, and honestly there was enough food that you could split this. Chicken was very flavorful and there was a lot of it. Also had a salad, and bread. If you want to split a meal, definitely do this! So good! Fries - honestly tasted good and simple (kind of like Five Guys fries). Overall, we really enjoyed the food and took enough leftovers for 1 of us to get 1 extra meal! Misc: Street parking only (but at least it's free street parking). Great for a nicer, casual date.

We came here right when they opened YEARS ago and kind of forgot to come back and I'm not sure why! THIS PLACE IS DEEEEEEELICIOUS! omg the falafel platter and the bread! The lentil soup! The tzatziki sauce! Everything we ate was absolutely devine. Haha I was sad when I got full. I want to come back everyday. The restaurant is small and quaint but very cute. I love the painted trim and plants everywhere.

Love love loved 1000 Figs! Can't speak to their physical location but we used them for a large take out order/ small catering order and they delivered to. The food was delicious, well packaged and super generous in portion size! The seasoned rice was perfectly cooked, the dips were all amazing and paired well with the focaccia or pita chips. The star of the show was the kale salad with tahini dressing which is still on my mind months later- the dressing alone soooo delicious! The falafel was unique hitting a different flavor note I couldn't quite place and the meat eaters loved the grilled chick as well. The business owner/manager was easy to work with to place the order and it was the perfect meal for any dietary preference. Fresh but flavorful, cannot go wrong!

1000 Figs is a sweet little gem near the Fairgrounds. Though quaint, this is bursting with positive energy and the food is really good. You order and pay at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. I went recently for a work lunch and we ordered quite a few items from the menu but my favorites were the falafel with dips and the harissa soup which was smooth and flavorful. So delish. I wish I'd ordered more of the falafel because it was some of the best I've ever had. Also, I can't forget that bread. I try to avoid bread but every now and then I indulge and it's usually worth it-and this time was very worth it. I will absolutely go back. In fact, I would order from here almost every other day if I lived in the neighborhood.

All I can say is wow! 1000 Figs been on my lis t to try for a year. I finally had a chance to go and I was blown away. To start off the area the resturant is in looks amazing, it gives a relaxed elegant look. When the sun is out I bet you will enjoy yourself sitting outside. The inside is small and cozy you can tell a lot of regulars come eat there. Food: Chicken Platter: This is the best bite I've had so far in 2025! The flavor on this dish is out of this world the chicken is so tender and packed with seasonings you can see the color on it. The Kale & Cabbage salad was the biggest surprise to me I really didn't think I would like it but after the first taste it blew my mind. It's so light, sweet, salty, & little sour it pairs so well with everything. The tzatziki is so fresh and well balanced I really enjoyed dipping my chicken and bread in it. This is an healthy option as well you're going to feel great after eating this. You guys have to Check this spot out you want be disappointment!

Wow I'm so happy we tried this place! We got there on a Wednesday around 530 and easily found a table. Had we waited until 6 we would have had to wait because it's small inside and fills up fast. They do have a very small beer and cocktail menu, we settled on Paradise Park which you can't go wrong with. We had some of the most tasty Brussels ever! We also had a side of hummus and kale salad. Salad was so fresh! I loved the vinegar dressing. The bread stole the show, it's got to be house made, if not I need to know where to get some. Since we had all those appetizers we split the chicken entree and it was tender and tasty. Wish I could do 4.5 stars instead of just 4. The only reason I'm counting off a little is because my preference is full service vs order at the counter although they did bring our food to the table. I'll be back for sure!

I came in knowing I wanted a beef shawarma, but outside of pitas, hummus, and a basic shawarma plate, I'm still learning this cuisine. I wanted to try something new, so I asked a lot of questions. The two gentlemen behind the counter were patient, kind, and really helpful. The setup is beautiful. All the toppings laid out, fresh, colorful, and inviting. When it was time to build my wrap, I'll be honest... I didn't know what half of the items were and his accent was a little heavy, so instead of playing the "huh?" game, I trusted him to dress it for me. And I'm glad I did. When someone really knows their food and culture, I like to lean into that. I even recorded him making it because I already knew... if this hits, I'm coming back and I need to remember what went on it. I didn't get to eat it right away, but when I finally did... it was GOOD. Not spicy, a slight sweetness, well-balanced flavors, and seasoned without being overpowering. It felt like a full experience, not just something thrown together. Only thing for me, and this is personal, I would've liked my beef cooked a little less. It leaned more well-done, but it was still tender and juicy, so not a dealbreaker at all. If I had one suggestion, I'd say adding a visual menu with pictures and maybe spice levels for the toppings would help people like me who are still learning and want a little more control when ordering. I did notice it looked like shawarmas used to come with a falafel, and I was lowkey excited to try that for the first time, but I might've missed it or it changed. Either way, next time I'm definitely coming back for it. Overall, really solid spot. Clean, welcoming, flavorful, and worth trying something new. I'll be back.

We were specially impressed with the muhammara .We also ordered drinks and had planned to get another round, but unfortunately no one came back to take our order, so we eventually decided to move on. The ambiance is beautiful--bright, airy, and very neutral with a beige-toned aesthetic. Seating was comfortable, though the noise level was a bit high, likely due to it being a busy lunch hour. Pricing reflects the restaurant's popularity and positioning. Overall, it was a decent experience, but not particularly memorable. If I return to New Orleans, this probably wouldn't make it back onto my list.

Order taken quickly at the counter: gyro wrap w/side of yellow rice, an order of Dolmas (8) and a soda. With tax & tip $34.88. Sat at a booth type table for comfort, only to discover we had to tip toe around the messy floor and I kicked away a ball of something rather than squish it. Husband said wrap was tasty but didn't remember they use a wrap instead of a pita for the gyro sandwich. (I had the gyro on our last visit.) Rice was good. My dolmas, however, were gross. I don't dip them in tzatziki, I typically like the taste. However, today the rice inside them was very, very gooey, as if they sat over the holiday. I ate 2.5 and threw the rest out. Someone came out to ask how things were but apparently didn't notice they were standing on rice. I didn't say anything about the dolmas, because by this time they were in the trash. Took home the remaining portion of the gyro, rice & tzatziki. Asked for a to go box, then asked again for lids for the sauce. Both times I interrupted someone playing on their phone, and the rest of the staff was hanging out talking behind the counter. Really wished they had taken the time to check the dining area.
