One of the best places we ate at on this entire trip. The food was so flavorful and the portions were big. Our server was also very kind. Cook was cookin

Came in around 9pm and was looking for a quick dinner. We ordered hummus, 2 dishes and 2 drinks. The restaurant is pretty spacious and unique. The hummus me and my friend really liked it. It came in really big portion which to our surprise we tried to finish, but we couldn't so We decided to take home. Service is quick and staff are friendly, even though it is closing time. I will definitely recommend my friends to come here if they come to New Orleans to eat.

Food and flavor was delicious. The the server was very understanding and made sure everything was great along with the chef. The ambiance is very nice and along with the open kitchen. That was a nice touch. I ordered the lamb shish kabob medium. Well it actually came out well done. My server Raven once I mention it into her She took the plate and brought it to the chef to let him know. Not only did he redo the entire plate to medium. Well he added on a couple of lamb chunks. Came back and apologized which I let him know that the flavor was good. I just wanted it medium well so I could reheat it later on. Now the new plate was delicious as well. The rice had a hint of sweetness and you couldn't go wrong with the salad. I Definitely had a great experience and the food had great flavor. I recommend checking it out

If you need a change from Cajan and Creole food and you love Mediterranean food then this is the place for you. This is a nice sit down restaurant right off the French Market. The only negative is due to the door was open I found it a little too chilly on the cold December night. Service was ok. I didn't feel like they came to check on us enough as they were really busy. I wanted some more sauce but wasn't able to get any. The chicken shawarma was ok. It came with some good fries. Not enough flavor and the sauce I was given was bland. I would have liked some of the sauce that went on the plate. My husband got the Beef Shawarma plate. It was a lot of food. He couldn't finish it. The food was only ok, so I probably wouldn't go back, but it's a good change of pace from most restaurants so you may like the change.

Worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. Waited over an hour for bottled beers, 2 hours for food. When finally delivered, order was not correct, food was cold, and hair on plate. Will be puking on their doorstop later Also no toilet seat in men's room.

I enjoyed Lebanon Grill on my most recent visit to NOLA, and although I failed to post a review on my first visit, the food was excellent. So, on this my second visit, I decided to post a review. The service: again attentive. The restaurant: clean and organized. I ordered an appetizer this time as I remembered the entree portions being large. Again the dish was well presented and delicious. The bread was soft and warm. This is a great spot if you're looking to deviate from the standard NOLA fare.

I've eaten here twice. Once alone and once with a dining partner. Both times the food was absolutely phenomenal.

For starters, this place is BEAUTIFUL. The dining room looks like an Egyptian temple. Had no idea is was so stunning, though I've walked past it many times. The food, based on what I tried, is delicious. I had a falafel sandwich to go. (Ate it in Santos, hence why it's bright red.) It was delicious, though I'm not sure I'd call it a sandwich since it was wrapped in a grilled tortilla. Crisp falafel, thick fresh slabs of tomato, vinaigrette, and creamy tahini. But yeah, I'd call it a wrap. The chef handed it to me personally and told me he hoped I'd like it. Well, sir, I did.

When you go to New Orleans, you don't really think about Middle Eastern food, but this restaurant was so delicious that we went back twice. We really enjoyed their garlic sauce, hummus, Taziki sauce. It's all very very good. The salad was exceptional. How many times have you ever complimented a salad? It's right across from the market, making it very convenient to shop and then find a place to sit and relax in a beautiful ambience. The wait staff was very friendly. We talked about their food culture, and something we already knew and some things we discovered. When I went back the second time it was for takeout and they remembered me, and they treated me very well and served us giant plates of food. Can't wait to go back.

The falafel was excellent and the staff were very friendly. They liked that I was wearing a keffiyeh. I'd go back.

The food was delicious and definitely hit the spot. While I was there, I heard music and realized there was a lounge upstairs. I decided to check it out, and my first thought was, "I wish I had found this place on Friday when I arrived." The vibe was amazing. Gabby, the bartender, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I ordered a hookah and a drink, and both were a 10/10. I was genuinely having a great time. Then everything changed. I witnessed an older Hispanic man speaking to a young woman in a way that was incredibly disrespectful after she came out of a room toward the back of the lounge. Watching that interaction was uncomfortable enough. Then, while carrying trash through the lounge, he bumped into another customer and yelled, "Move, n**ga!" The room seemed to stop. As the mother of two African American sons, that moment broke my heart. I immediately stopped seeing things through the eyes of a customer and started seeing them through the eyes of a mother. I thought about my boys and the world they have to navigate every day. No one should be spoken to with that kind of hate or disrespect. It's heartbreaking because my experience had been perfect up until that moment. The service from Gabby was exceptional, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. But witnessing behavior like that erased every good feeling I had walking into the lounge. This review is **not about Melba's**. My food experience there was wonderful. This is about what I experienced in the lounge upstairs. I hope management takes incidents like this seriously because no guest or employee should ever have to witness language or behavior that makes people feel devalued or unsafe. Sadly, because of what I witnessed, I won't be returning to the lounge.

They were fabulous performers. The staff was fun and friendly, it wasn't really their fault with the problems that follow. The bad: For noon reservations for drag brunch, they were not ready at all. It was $35 a person for the reservation. It seems a bit steep, however the show was good. When I say they weren't ready, they really were on a struggle bus. We had a couple cocktails and I believe every one else had the $25 bottomless mimosas. However, they didn't have the champagne in stock so many people had to wait for a drink. And once they for them, it was hard to keep their glasses full with the lack of staff. We ordered food and it took FOREVER! I mean, we almost left because all we had in our stomach was coffee from the morning and a couple cocktails. Let me remind you that our reservation was for noon. We did not get our food until 2:30. I was getting quite nauseated. I ordered the chicken and French toast, I asked for no maple syrup but it was doused in it. It was ok. I ate the chicken. TL:DR- cocktails were good, the show was good. They needed more staff and the food was meh. EDIT: Our credit cards were charged and the money refunded and additional charges were placed on our card.
