Good pizzas! We just needed a place to eat on our last day in Venice that was open earlier than most restaurants, and found this spot as we were searching for pizza. They were able to seat us immediately, which was nice as we were a larger group. Between the 6 of us we ordered 3 pizzas and a fried calamari/shrimp platter. The calamari came first, and it was really good! Can't really go wrong there. For our pizzas we chose the pistachio and mortadella, spicy buffalo (can't really remember the name), and a classic salami. I have the say the classic salami one was my favorite, but the others were unique too. The crust here is really good! Very well charred while being soft and fluffy at the same time. A good last meal in Italy!
For our first dinner in Venice we had booked a reservation at 1000 Gourmet and they were able to accommodate us earlier than our reserved time slot. Got in seated and we placed an order for an Ortolana ( veggies on pizza with extra mushrooms ) along with a Margherita Corbari with additional Buffalo Mozarella. Took a bit but the pizza's arrived and we started to work with them. However it turned out that the Margherita pizza started to turn out watery and the pizza plate got filled with juice ( water and milk from mozarella and tomato juice) and it became a puddle that sunk in the pizza. The Ortolana came out pretty good and was finished with nothing left to imagination while we barely got to eat the Margherita pizza given it had an ocean engulfing it. Hopefully they can let the customers know about such disasters ( not recommending extra cheese on the pizza) well in advance to be more proactive rather not even being reactive and willing to help after the fact!!
Pizza was good, naples style. I really enjoyed the pear and gorgonzola pizza, which had a tasty and delicate honey with it. Crust / bread was chewy in Napoli style, though not the best I've had. Pizze fritte was solid, but not as good as the one I had in Naples either. Would return; probably as good as you can hope to get for pizza in Venice.
Amazing pizza! I stopped by here for lunch while in Venice, and except for the loud fire alarm that went on for a good minute, everything else was perfect! We were shopping in the area and asked a few store associates for lunch recommendation, almost everyone recommend 1000 gourmet pizza! So we decided to come here to give it a try. We ordered one pancetta with ricotta cream and shaved lemon zest pizza. It's interesting since I've never had one like this in the US. Pizza was cooked well, and the dough was chewy, savory and the cheese and toppings were perfect together. It's the best slice of pizza I've ever had!! Service was fine, they're busy even during off peak time. But you can get their attention and get the things you want. No complaints here. Overall, I'd recommend coming here for a slice of their pizza if you're in Venice.
This place was recommended to us by our Airbnb host (a local) so we had to give it a try. It definitely draws quite the crowd and for good reason! We beat the rush and were seated quickly by a window with a view. We order two pizzas and both were to die for! Plus we had some to take home for later! By the time we left there was a line formed out the door. Definitely give this spot a try!
Tried 1000 Gourmet for lunch. We got there right when it opened, and we were seated right away. We sat on the second floor by a window, and had a nice view of the canal. Food was very good. I got the calabrese, and it had several different flavours that complimented each other. Service was good - we ordered and our pizza came within ten minutes. Would recommend.
1000 Gourmet Pizza was a pleasant experience. The food was AMAZING! I was very impressed by the service here and the waiters were very kind. The atmosphere of this pizza place was super decorative and I felt like I was sitting in luxury. My mother even said that it was the best pizza she had ever had. I would definitely recommend this to any tourists that are walking the streets of Venice.
Would've been 5 stars, but wow service was so horrible. We had a reservation to celebrate our honeymoon and were seated quickly however we waited 25 mins and didn't see a single waiter. We ended up having to ask the hostess to take our order. Luckily food came out quickly and was delicious but we never did see any waiters in our area and nobody came by to help us outside of initial order so we weren't able to order more drinks or try dessert. Our pizzas were delicious and if the food had been horrible , I would've easily gave them 1 star but I'd recommend eating here as long as you know the service you are getting into.

After wandering around San Marco, we stopped into 1000 Gourmet Pizzeria and found a nice mix of tourists and locals, which is usually a good sign. My husband ordered an Italian beer, and while it was decent, let's just say Italy's strengths lie elsewhere. My Negroni, on the other hand, was spot on, perfectly balanced and exactly what I was hoping for. We ordered the Margherita and the vegetable pizzas, and both were delicious. The crust had that classic wood-fired character with just the right amount of char while still being light and chewy. The toppings were fresh and let the simple, quality ingredients shine. read more

We went here twice during our stay in Venice. Their breakfast menu has lots of food and drink options while for lunch they have several varieties of pizza. They were very busy for breakfast more so than during lunch so plan to be here early if you want an outdoor seat. read more

This place had the best pizzas we have ever eaten. They have fun and different options. The spritz are €5. The staff is friendly and attentive. Indoor is modern and air conditioned. I can't wait to go again to pick a different one to try. Highly recommend. read more

Tried out 1000 Gourmet Pizza in Venice for a quick dinner. The pizza was great and better than we had expected! We ordered the tiramisu for dessert which was also delicious. The interior of the restaurant is also very cute and clean! Very pleasantly surprised for a last minute dinner spot! read more

Recommended to us by our local guide, this place had the best pizza we've ever had. Reservations are a must. Our guide says Italians usually order one pizza per person, but knows that Americans don't usually do the same. But, we figured, when in Italy, do as the Italians do! The pizzas were incredibly fresh and lighter than the majority pizzas we have in the States. My husband had the Non Troppo Gourmet pizza (smoked mozarella, spiced potatoes with onion, small beef meatballs, cream of aged 32 months parmigiano reggiano, basil, exu. oil) and I had the prosciutto and figs pizza (can't remember the official name). Amazing! Cozy and not a lot of seating available, so you'll need a reservation. Service was fine, but the pizza outshined the whole experience for us. read more

So this is a really well regarded pizza place and I can't say I was impressed. Or even that I left wanting to return. The margehrita pizza was fine, but basically a cheese pizza with good sauce and cheese. The diavola had good spicy salami but otherwise tasted like the margehrita. It was also very greasy and had a very soft bottom crust to the point that my girlfriend thought it was raw. The prices were average but you can probably find a better pizza elsewhere. If you do come here make a reservation. They're very popular and you'll likely be waiting for a table without a reservation. Staff is friendly and does speak English. read more

- Locale Destination - Calle S Xuliam Gia del strazzariol and Calle specchier San Marco, in Venice. Almost many establishments are tucked away, so it's hard to describe the best way to get there. This one was on super skinny aisle, backside was a bit more roomy. It's Venice. Ambiance: casual Menu: fairly big - appetizers to entrees. €12-15 plus minus, so fairly cheap. But not touristy type. Service: minimal - Gluttony Expedition - Margarita pizza: nicely cooked, very light and simple flavor. Good. Tuna pizza: albacore tuna on pizza is norm in Italy. Too light and not so much sauce. Pass. - Conqueror's Deduction - It was finally a nice pizza in Venice but not as impressive as I had over 20 years ago... Good but not the greatest. read more
We stopped in last night to 1000 Gourmet to a moderately busy place. They have the entrance roped off and will only let you enter once they have a table ready. We were seated right away towards the back. There's no cell phone service there so you'll need to use their WiFi to view their menu (it's a QR code). The waiter came to take our order within about 10 minutes. We got our drinks quickly. The food does take a little on the longer side here because everything is made fresh to order. We ordered a Margherita Pizza and Scarpariello pasta to share. We received the food in about 40 minutes. The Scapariello was delicious and had a mild spice to it. We normally aren't a fan of tomatoes but they were so soft and seasoned that we didn't leave any. The pizza was fantastic! The crust had a nice char flavor to it without being too burned and the cheese and sauce tasted so fresh. We honestly didn't have any room left for dessert but ordered a Tiramisu anyway. It was great as well. In the end, everything came out to about 40 euros, so the prices are more than fair too! I will definitely return here on my next trip to Venice. read more

I'm glad I finally landed on some good, tasty pizza. This spot is really cute; indoor and outdoor seating. Our waiter was very nice and patient. He helped us choose between a couple options. Mojito was on point. And I was in good company. read more

We stopped by on a Tuesday night and there was a wait, so we made a reservation for the following night. We arrived on time and were seated right away. It took a few minutes for someone to come over and take our order, but we were not expecting to wait a full hour to receive two pizzas! The pizza was very good and fresh, but the wait and overall service needs improvement. read more

GO CHECK OUT THEIR GOOGLE REVIEWS, yelp must not be big in Italy! Freaking AMAZING! Been to Rome, Florence and Venice this trip and this was the best meal we've had! The calzone and pizza were fantastic!!!! 100% you must try! read more
