I normally don't leave reviews but I was not happy at all with this place. Please please please be cautious on where you choose to live. Yes the building is nice, and the maintenance is nice but that just about sums up the good things I have to say. I live there for 4-5 months... all of which I had NO HOT WATER. I was charged for a family of 4 when I lived there myself. I even talked to their third part company that charges them for water & they even said in email that I was being charged excessively. They do nothing about it. I was charged 200+ a month for water ALONE on my unities. I received $400 something credit AFTER I had already moved into a new place. I never received credit for the sewer that came up from the drain every day the first week I moved in. Imagine going through winter with no hot water. I showered in freezing water, brushed my teeth, cleaned my dishes did everything in COLD water. In addition to this, I seemed advice from the community manager Bethany who told me to start apartment hunting and be late on my rent on purpose so I would receive a 3 day notice. If I returned possession of the unit within those 3 days I would still be able to keep my security deposit. So I followed as instructed. Was late... but never got my notice. I got my new apartment, completely cleaned & vacated this one but didn't receive the 3 day notice till about a month later. I was only given back about 600 of the 2000+ security deposit. This place does NOT care about its residents. Really disappointed. I was following her directions and I don't know maybe it's because she's new but she completely misled me pretending to help and I just feel completely scammed. Her last messages to me were very inconsiderate saying "I don't know why you're upset" after showing up to her office crying, to following her advice, thinking I was going to keep my deposit by surrendering the unit (CLEAN & in Great condition) who wouldn't be upset. read more

I do not recommend these apartments for anyone sensitive to noise or with health needs. I was clear in my application that I was leaving my apartment two years ago due to thin walls and ceilings. I was approved, but this building is built horribly. Even with carpet, the construction is clearly wood-frame without sufficient insulation or concrete buffers. From the first day, the stomping and impact noise from upstairs neighbors was unbearable, giving me major headaches. I could hear every single footstep. The noise exacerbated my mental health condition, leading to panic and anxiety attacks. I cried often, couldn't rest, and couldn't sleep without wearing headphones. I also provided my Emotional Support Animal letter a couple of weeks after I moved in, but management ignored it and continued charging illegal pet fees. When I requested to break my lease due to the impact on my health, they dismissed me, saying "apartments come with noise." I moved in early May and left late August because the situation was intolerable. The building's poor construction and management's disregard for tenants' rights and well-being made it uninhabitable. Learn from my experience--avoid this property if you want to live comfortably. read more

I WILL NEVER RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IF THIS IS HOW IT"S GOING TO BE. Between my leasing agent Bri and my expereicne moving in, that has been so terrible. You can't get intouch with ANYONE. Literally NOONE. Even leading up to my move-in date it was almost impossible to get in touch with anyone. And when I would finally get in touch with the agent Bri, she would be so nonchalant and condesending......I sent emails about a balance that I have on my account that I am not understanding because I just moved in 2 days ago and I paid my move in monies in a form of a money order which I handed off to Bri. Why would I have a balance ?! The balance isn't the same amount af the move-monies. I had to pay almost $3000 move-in fees and not I'm showing I still own $1199. and I can't get anyone to answer . Emails, phonecall, in office, nothing. I tried calling their corpoate number since noone from the leasing office is geting back to me and their corporate number goes to another property in Boston. And the girl that picks up the phone there is a leasing agen who said she doesnt have the number to corpoate I would have to go through my leasing office. But NOOONE is at my leasing officer. There is noone EVER in the office since I started the process of touring to now being moved in and noone picks up the phone, That should have been the biggest red flag. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I'm honestly regretting my desicion. anything can go wrong and there is noone to assist. SMH read more

The worst place I've ever seen. People scream at night, it's dirty, it constantly smells like urine, and there's feces near the entrance. There are never any staff in the office to contact. It's impossible to sleep because it's noisy and someone is always yelling. I do not recommend staying here. read more

Despite branding themselves as a "Luxury Community," this place lacks any security in its garage and doesn't even have security cameras. I've had to shell out $3,000 in deductibles due to three separate car break-ins, with the Windsor team's sole recommendation being, "File a police report." Wouldn't it make sense to allocate a portion of the substantial profits you're raking in to install security cameras in the garage and employ regular security personnel to prevent such incidents? (5 Stars are for Wendy!) While I love the building and its beautiful amenities, the poor service from the leasing office has tainted my experience within the past year. The door was always closed and the managers were very rude and unapproachable. However, in the past two months, I've noticed some positive changes. Wendy, in particular, has been exceptional. She has restored the level of service to what it was in 2020. Wendy is very helpful and friendly. If you need assistance or plan to move here, I highly recommend reaching out to Wendy, her door is always open, and she's very quick to respond through email. She actually cares and listens to what you need and does her best to accommodate it. I hope she is the one who continues to run the place because she is doing a fantastic job! read more

Amazing, beautifully designed complex in Downtown... but it doesn't live up to it's beauty. My partner and I toured a few of the Windsor properties Downtown and this one checked off all of our boxes. There are three sky decks (one for tanning, one for grilling, and one for chilling that boasts an amazing view of Downtown LA), a pool on the second floor, a few lounge areas downstairs, an amazing gym and yoga studio (closed due to Covid), a clubhouse, and screening room. There's also package concierge and bike storage. The apartments run the gambit but there's really something for everyone (read: everyone's budget). Some of the views aren't the best (alley-facing, courtyard facing, etc) but ours is great. Worth noting, because of science if you have a balcony on Grand St, you will be able to clearly hear conversations being had on the street. With that said, the windows are double paned so you (virtually) won't hear a thing if you're inside with the windows and doors closed so that's great. While the layouts are nice and the appliances look new, the overhead light in the kitchen doesn't work and apparently that's a building-wide thing (per maintenance). Aside from that, we've just noticed a few places where corners were cut but nothing major enough to feel cheated or anything. There is a parking garage but there is no guest parking. Since we have been here, we have heard of incidents in the garage but the only problem we have had was with security, who had our car towed from our spot. The property manager, Christine Meholic, didn't do anything to help out or fix that situation. Instead she sent a leasing consultant to handle it then said she was "sorry that happened to" us. This should go without saying but if you wrong someone, you should at least try to make it right. Her idea of making it right was telling us to Uber ourselves to the tow yard, pay for our car, and then have that money added as credit to our rent. They took our car then told us to pay a $300 advance on rent. lol There is a door system that's pretty neat. The guest can dial the apartment and when the resident answers they can press a code and allow the guest access. Guests then have one minute to get to the elevators, where they'll have access to go to their destination. Great feature... as long as your guest doesn't get turned around. Someone aggressively denied a surprise birthday delivery for me this week because the driver (and my friends) were a little overwhelmed and unfamiliar with the property. He said an employee told him to leave but when asked, the employee present said they didn't do it and didn't see anything that like happen. The vibe here is very "welcome to the family" but I can assure you it is 100% performative. They gifted us wine and glasses upon move-in, they post pet of the month, they encourage you to engage on their Instagram and then it hits... it's all marketing. Something is always not working at this apartment complex. The parking garage gates have been getting worked on for nearly a year. The "movie theatre" hasn't worked since I've lived here for a year. The elevators have been not working recently, the front call box has been giving me problems since I've moved here, I've witnessed homeless people in the elevators & hallway twice & using the hallway plug to charge a phone & eat on the floor. The Amazon lockers were removed for a couple months and all of our packages were randomly scattered on the floor in one room. Now, I'm sitting here trying to shower and the hot water is shut off for the building. For as much as we pay, there shouldn't be this many issues. Or at LEAST, give discounted rent for as many problems as you're causing. & no one ever answers the office phone or is ever sitting at the desks in the office. read more

I'm glad we renewed our lease I've lived here nearly two years. At first I was cookoo for Cocoa Puffs under Hanover management ... Then Windsor came and the transition was difficult to understand their way of doing things. But now I'm very happy to live here. I'm also realizing that Hanover was brand-new and seemingly perfect. But they weren't perfect. There are several things put in place by the Windsor team that are really awesome. Like the all-day aces to community amenities. It's nice to be able to use the Theater and Rooms Community throughout the day. I'm very excited about the upgrades to the doggie wash station. Overall, the Windsor Team (Michele, Kerstin, Khalani, Alex, Oskar, Traci and *Sandra) has come a long way in running and maintaining our apartment community and I'm happy to say they're doing a fantastic job. read more

My original review was when it was managed by Hanover, so I'm going to post an update. Overall Windsor has done an alright job. My frustrations began last year sometime. I was having packages stolen off my door step at a rate of one per week. I asked the office management and they said it only seemed to be me, yet when I talked to neighbors they had the same issue. Anyways, packages whatever. Fast forward to this year. The wheels and tires were stolen off my car from the secured parking structure. As well as another car that was in there. I started talking to a few neighbors in the building, and there have been a string of car break-in's going back months. Whenever the office is asked, they will try to convince you that it was just a one off issue. There are ZERO cameras in the parking structure. I've frequently seen homeless people down there going through trash cans. The office said they can put cameras in the structure, but they don't want to pay someone to monitor them 24/7. Windsor told me this is just what happens when you live in a Metropolitan area. I say BS, when I moved into this building I thought we were getting security at the premium price we are paying. So for all the residents out there paying $100-250 a month for parking, they are doing nothing to protect your property. If you wonder why all those people park on the first floor in visitor parking for free, now I know. They probably don't want their BMW and Mercedes broken into. I really hate writing bad reviews, but after receiving zero sympathy from the building management or any help.. I think I've reached the end of my rope. I would just like current residents and future residents to know, since they will not approve your posts on the community forum. read more

If you want to live in a trifling dump sign a lease here. With so much wrong with this place I'll just be brief -Roaches in entire building coming from drain and cracks in walls from poor construction (see pics) -can hear every step, drawer close, cabinet close from neighbors bc no -Vomit, blood pet and human feces/urine in garage, entry ways, lobby, elevators and on handles and buttons left for days at a time...feces and urine all day everyday -Human feces was left at entry way for several days Had friends over one night and one step in sh!t coming in the building -smell of mildew when turning on water -Management could care less -Carpets look like a Chucky Cheese floor -Airbnb tenants everywhere all day and partying -Trash shoots look like LA Landfill -Got rash and respiratory complications from air quality-- air filter looked like it was never changed. There is so much to loves about DTLA, living in this building is not one of them. I know DT very well, first moved here in 2007, I know the town has rough edges, but when you pay on the higher end of rents and have a gated garage for your car, you should be able to feel safe and not repeatedly violated. And that is how I feel at 1000 Grand by Windsor. Twice in three months, my car has been broken into. Each time they steal the same exact odd things. Neighbors share tales of break-ins and security breaches that happen monthly. Management shirks it off with a feeble apology and a mention that they are "working on a security camera system". The issue of garage theft goes back almost two years in this building (just read the older reviews and not the flood of single reviewers). There are tons of amazing buildings in Downtown LA. I refuse to let the lax management and oversight on security investment tarnish my love for Downtown. If you are looking for a building in #DTLA to call home, I would look past the various Windsor properties. read more

Would just like to preface by saying the 4 stars (instead of 5) are because my boyfriend had his car broken into several times in the parking garage, and when our neighbors smoke it comes through our bathroom vent (???). But besides that, living here has been great. The location is prime and beautiful. It's a bit loud sometimes, but it's downtown so that's expected. We live in a 1 bedroom and it's extremely cozy and also pet friendly. Easy to keep clean. Maintenance is always there within 24hrs to fix whatever is needed. And the staff, specifically David Nguyen, has been above and beyond. David says hello every time I see him and remembers my name. He also never seems annoyed or upset. Very calm and collected, which is nice when dealing with difficult things. read more

I had a lot of reservations about living in downtown, but it's been one of the best times of my life and 1000 Grand has been amazing. The location is perfect, everything is walking distance and we're really close to Staples. I was worried about safety, but 1000 Grand is in South Park, which is a bit safer than if you head North or East. South Park has their own patrol biking around, makes me feel extra secure. This is in addition to 1000 grand's security guard that. The building is also super dog friendly which is really important to me. They have a few grassy patches along the sidewalk just for the pups and have doggy bag stations that make it really easy and convenient. The property management has played a huge part in our time here and we're so happy with the management team. David (Nguyen) from the sales team is the best. He's super responsive and listens to any concerns my husband or I has. The overall management team is always on top of everything. We put in a couple of work orders every now and then (light bulb out or something small) and they come and fix it right away. Living here has been such a treat. Will miss downtown when it comes time to move. read more

(This review is long overdue) My fiancé and I currently attend FIDM and we moved into 1000 Grand back in June. We initially chose 1000 Grand because of the location but what sealed the deal was the leasing staff! They have made the whole move in process completely easy, seamless and stress free. I want to especially highlight David-Jay the property manager. He has been extremely helpful and attentive to his tenants' needs. His customer service and professionalism is unparalleled (on and off the clock). Anytime I need help, have a concern, or a question, he's there right away ensuring that all is taken care of. I'd like to highlight the maintenance staff as well they're (most specifically the main guy in charge who is here during the day (I hate that I've forgotten his name) truly professional, attentive, and respond to work inquiries in a swift and timely manner. I have never met or dealt with a maintenance staff that was so extremely helpful and truly go above and beyond. I moved into the 1000 Grand by Windsor building about a year and a half ago. Our apartment is very nice and cozy, even though we are facing a busy street our place is very quiet. The building has good amenities that are first come first serve, our rooftop decks are a nice place to relax and grill and there is a great theater room. My husband and I opened a business in the building last year and Oscar Romero helped us so much with our build out. He continues to be friendly and helpful anytime we need something. read more

First, many of the glowing five star reviews here are fake. Some work for or are friends with the company. Others are new move-ins incentivized in exchange for rent or parking credit. This dishonesty itself speaks volumes. The average rating before the fake reviews flooded in was 2.5. You absolutely should not move here for many reasons: -Most problematic is building management. Fake smiles and fake promises abound. After asking many times, you never get that phone call back and you never receive a follow up. Poor communication, no head-ups about many things, never a sincere apology. - Lax security. Car break-ins, tyre theft, homeless encampment and vandalism happen here on a weekly basis. Standard management response has been "we live in an urban area and this is expected and nothing we can do." Of course, the solution is simple. Hire an extra security guard and install CCTV (the only cameras here protect the leasing office). But of course this never happens because the workers here or higher ups at Windsor do not want to spend any money. - Staff are uncaring and passive aggressive. Sometimes there a few bad apples in a large residential building like this one. This is not the fault of management and I do not blame them. However, what they can do about persistent loud noise or smoke is have someone respond and remind them that this is a breach of the leasing contract. But of course this never happens because they would lose money from tenants leaving. Unless you're looking at a condo virtually all newly built rental apartments are constructed fairly similarly (in terms of appliances, wall thickness, etc.). So what really impacts your happiness and quality of living is the people that manage the building, so that when you inevitably encounter a problem you're happy with their attitude and promptness. Unfortunately, if you do move here, you will be frustrated by their perpetually deceitful and callous attitude and your life will be made worse by it. read more

I have enjoyed every minute of living here! Even during COVID they had very fun *and safe* little activities. I assume pre covid and once we open up as a city we will have lots of community gatherings at the pool and in the move theatre here. The staff is friendly and responsive. There is definitely a vibe of 23-35 year olds living here so if you're looking for a nice apartment with good amenities and a community, 10/10 would recommend 1000 Grand. read more

Hello, I recently moved into the property and I really love it. The management team is respectful, organized, detailed and really hands on the entire process. I felt very comfortable with everyone and the building is super clean and absolutely, stunning. Before moving I was concerned with the homelessness in the Downtown area, but 1000 Grand is at a perfect location. I've had no problem at all. I just signed my lease a couple of weeks ago and moving in a month. The staff is very friendly and approachable. I had a issue in regards to securing my apartment and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. I am appreciative of that even though it wasn't in their job duties. So far the apartment looks great and most importantly clean. This is a long overdue review as I have lived at 1000 Grand by Windsor formerly Hanover for 2 years as of last month. As many reviews have noted, the service with Hanover was wonderful and it was sad to see them go. However, the new Windsor team has really made living at 1000 Grand so easy. Michele especially has gone above and beyond with helping me recently secure a short-term lease and is overall wonderful to work with. That also goes for Khalani, Alex, Kerstin and the rest of the Windsor team, including the maintenance staff! In addition, the building has recently been holding a lot more social events and other gatherings, including movie premieres to meet the staff and other neighbors. The building has numerous amenities and is kept very clean. My only note to that is since the complex is (very) dog-friendly, the smell of urine is pretty apparent near the entrance. Despite the building water down the sidewalk with a hose, I think they need to use a power washer instead. Regardless, the pool, gym, and building itself are kept very clean. Lastly, the building is also very secure. At night, there are multiple members of the security team walking around the building. A key fob is required to get into the building after business hours, and is also required to get up to the residential floors. I find the security of the building to be one of the best perks of living here. Overall, being a resident for 2 years, I can confidently say that you won't regret living here, especially if you love dogs. read more

1000 Grand by Windsor is a gem, tucked away in DTLA -- It's got a great location, with great people. My only real gripe is the lack of visitor parking. This morning I rode my bike to the Pantry for breakfast. When I go for walks late at night, there are bars letting out, and plenty of energy in the area. I feel comfortable walking around Downtown, but I would understand why some would forgo the opportunity. The Arts District and Little Tokyo are a short "cab" ride away. You can make the walk to the Staples Center -- in flats. Ralphs, Whole Foods, and Target are all easily accessible. The staff is friendly and professional. The amenities are clean and new. The building is probably only 3 years old. They have a theatre, pool, gym, common areas, some with grills or coffee. It seems like the staff tries to do fun events. Recently, they queued up some food trucks, other times they've cooked breakfast. Get this -- they have a yoga class on Sundays with the talented yogi Romy Phillips. The classes have been picking up lately, but historically been small. When I moved in, Kerstin and Kelani were amazing. Normally, I'm fearful of spam/marketing and skeptical about leaving my contact information, but I'm glad I did. Kerstin got me a better deal than what was advertised on the site. I moved here almost 2 years ago. The apartment was managed by Hanover the first year and the second year was by Windsor. I can confidently say that the Windsor team is very friendly and professional and the apartment is a great place to live. About 6 months ago, I've lost my wallet somewhere in the apartment - it was totally my fault. I was very impressed that Kerstin the assistant property manager made her every effort to help find the wallet. Also I've recently had some family issues and had to travel overseas quite often and Michele the property manager was very cooperative in dealing with my personal issues and showed generosity towards some of my mistakes. (This doesn't mean the policies are not strict) Khalani the leasing consultant has been always available in the office as well as via email whenever I needed help. The team is pretty on point in getting back to you with issues you're having. They give adequate notice for things like when parts of guest parking will be closed and so far. I called for maintenance services more than 5 times and Tracy the maintenance technician came and fixed everything quickly and perfectly. Also I can see that the Windsor team is doing their best to keep the community safe. Overall this apartment is one of the best apartments I've ever lived - quiet, well-maintained and very clean. Particularly I like free 24 hr gym access, assigned underground parking, elevator access, pool area, common rooms, etc.. The pools are clean, gym is clean and functional. The walls are pretty thick and I rarely hear my neighbors. There used to be urine around the apartment and it smelled pretty bad. But I hardly smell it recently so I assume they started cleaning the street more often. Last but not least, the community is very dog-friendly. You will see a lot of lovely dogs and their responsible owners. Also there is a pet shop/kindergarten on the 1st floor! read more

This place is absolutely ridiculous, I call them last night to make sure they are open, and the central office assures they are. I come today on July 3rd and the office is closed all day, I'm out $1000 bucks but it gets better. I book into the marriott for another night since someone at their sister property told me they are offering 2 months for free. When I called the central office they claim the deal expired June 12. Their website says the deal expires June 30. Their Yelp announcement says they still offer 2 months off. This place is very disorganized, has wasted my time and money, and now questions if they can give me any lease move in concession at all. I have only dealt with the central office so far, but I will be sure to update my review when I interface with the local building management further. Tl;DR disorganized misinformation that costs me a lot of time and money, and no willingness to make it right. read more

New management of Windsor is way worse than the original management from Hanover company. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here as management will nickel and dime you. For instance they won't send you a notice prior to the last 30 days of your lease ending. Instead, when you go see them at 28 or 29 days before your lease is up they'll make you stay the whole 30/31 days of when you notified them. And they never send you a notice to try to renew or notify them. I've lived in many apartments in DTLA and they all give you notice. Not this place. Kerstin won't work with you at all. She'll give you a fake smile all day though. Stay clear of here if you expect decent management and service. Also, there's homeless poop all over back alley entrances. I love living here but feel the management could be improved with the exception of DAVID, the assistant property manager. He does not allow me to walk by without saying hi and addressing me by name. The property manager, whose name i do not even know, because she has yet to make an effort to formally introduce herself and gives a crooked smile every-time as if it pains her; could use some training. She is not personable at all- and makes changes without notice. I also feel like there were specifics mentioned on the tour that is absolutely not the case after the contract was signed. I gave 4 stars because- I stay to Myself- it is a quiet building and I have no complaints there. It is an a great area of DTLA- walking distance from everything! If you're looking for a social building with - Social events- this is not it. If David ever leaves it would be unfortunate for the overall autonomy of the building.If you see a guy in the office making eye-contact with you and waving before you even notice him first... This is my second time placing a fair review. First one was left when we were living on the premise. I'm not sure it was removed. We were residents before this place was taken over by Windsor. This place is not the same like when it was first managed by Hanover. Lost packages and people illegally parked in the garage. Security can't get violators towed. For those consider living here, good luck and hope you will like it. We moved out and couldn't have been happier with our decision. read more

Valuables were stolen from my car in their gated garage. They did not pay for any damage, merely told us to call the police. There is absolutely no security after 6PM. The leasing office never takes any calls or respond to contact forms and missed calls. Sometimes I do not receive codes for my packages and leasing office closes early so it's difficult to catch any staff member. Their management team just keeps going downhill. read more

**** DON'T MOVE HERE!!! It's NOT SAFE- Apt breakin from an inside job ***** My place got BROKEN INTO on the 3rd day when I just moved in!!!! (Please check all the photos I attached- all my valuable stuff was stolen and surprisingly there's NO CAMERA on the hallways and all the elevators!!! They said "it's just not their philosophy to install cameras"!! WHAT A JOKE!) It has been such a pain in the ass dealing with the management. They basically refuse to take any responsibility for the breakin even the police claimed it was an "inside project" (I'll provide more related document/ proof from the police if you want to see!) It has been THREE WEEKS since our place got broken into and there's no apologies or any further actions...all they can offer is "you're more than welcome to move out with no questions asked because we don't have any budget to install any cameras". What kind of luxurious building is this seriously?!!! I pay over 3.5k monthly rent and this is what we get. And I was not allowed to review all the camera footages they have due to "privacy purpose". My place just got broken into and I have no right to review the camera footages ourselves? And when the police finally came- the office employees claimed that all the footages were gone... how shady are they!! I asked around and heard from some neighbour that there was one more break-in prior to us. However Hanover Grand Ave (now 1000 by Windsor? Seriously you changed name AGAIN? Well you can't get away that easily) claims that this is the very first break-in since they opened last year.... and even so, it's nothing to do with them because "break-ins are very common in DTLA so I shouldn't be so shocked." Yes, trust me- that's what the property manager Yen Phung told me during several phone and in-person meetings. I have been living in DTLA for years and I lived in APEX which is just 2 blocks away from here and I never experienced any break-ins or missing packages. Oh and did I mention 7 of my packages were stolen so far? I went to the management and they literally just ignored us by saying "there's no cameras EVERYWHERE so we're unable to see who stole our packages as well." How ridiculous is this? Yen Phung (the current property manager I believe) was always rude and unreasonable. I told her all my valuables were stolen- she smiled at me and asked "so what is that you want from us?" Well I want them to apologise and give us reasonable compensation- and they simply couldn't even do it! I finally moved out because I couldn't deal with them anymore. (The leasing agent Richard was always really nice and helpful though..I feel bad for him working with that crazy woman!) Regarding the safety, they told us there's 24/7 security staff, all we need to do is "make a phone call and they security staff will help us immediately". Well after I found out about the breakin, I called the security and they did not pick up my phone until hours later.. not to mention coming to my apartment "immediately" like what they promised. The other day I saw a homeless guy followed a resident's car to the parking garage and smoked weed and slept there. I'll continue updating here and let everyone knows how SHADY this property is. I am a firm believer of if you take care of your things, they will take care of you. With that being said, the leasing team consisting of Alex, Kerstin, Khalani and Michele are outstanding. If I have ever encountered a problem, presenting it to any of these team members, is handled with rapid response. This team will actually stop working to assist and problem that a resident may need. Here's the kicker...they will do it with a smile. The maintenance crew. 100% outstanding as well. I first moved in and I'm a tall guy. There were some fixtures that were just too low to function for a guy my height. One request and within the next 2 hours had Tracy show up and help me resolve the issue. I've never had any other maintenance worker do anything here yet but I would like to point out that Oscar has even taken the time to meet me. That is kind of unheard of. Where have you ever lived, where the maintenance supervisor just wants to meet residents to see if they have problems just because. This is a great place to live. I don't have reserved parking but I do have a space that I pay for and have never had an issue with parking. I can't speak for the residents who have been here for awhile but in the 3 months I've been here, no problems what so ever. All the residents that I have spoken to on my floor are professional, hard working people and are quite friendly on top of that. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you've stopped reading by now. If you're thinking of moving DTLA, check this place out. You could have awesome neighbors and friendly employees that truly work for YOU. read more

We recently moved, but some things did improve. The parking is more closely monitored, and there are fewer instances of unauthorized parking. Additional cleaning staff were hired. The trash/recycling chutes are functioning more often than not which is a dramatic improvement from when they first took over management of the building. For some reason tenants still leave trash in the trash room, but I guess this is unavoidable. People are pigs..... I feel the office staff is trying to be more sociable, but I still see room for improvement. Maybe the previous management team from Hanover went above and beyond which made our expectations too high, but the extra friendliness from Hanover definitely made the apartment experience more enjoyable and perpetuated a strong sense of community. Allowing the tenants to have a "yappy hour" again would be welcomed. read more

Love living here. The whole process from touring the building to signing the contracts to moving in was a breeze. Everyone on the leasing staff has been a pleasure to deal with, esp David. He's awesome! The building is quiet and really well maintained, and there are so many great amenities. read more
