Long time resident here, 14-ish years now. Really happy with the addition of Suhein Beck as current property manager. I had some moisture in my bathroom ceiling and she had a vendor come out and drill a hole in the ceiling, just to inspect everything and ensure it was nothing serious. Fortunately it turned out to be ok. But that she caught it, and went out of her way to correct it was really considerate. Every concern I raised, she has directly addressed in a nuanced and thoughtful manner, and what she steps she is taking to rectify. I walked away with thinking she really cares about your experience as a tenant, whether you are old or new. She has always heard my thoughts and suggestions, and never waived me off. I hope they make her the permanent property manager. Leasing agent Noemi has also been helpful in quickly getting back to me about pending work orders. Raul has been really helpful, in changing my carpet to hardwood and giving the entire unit a paint job, and just staying on top of everything. Bottom line, they really do care about my experience living here as a tenant, in a hotel/hospitality sense. They also just had an upgrade to the ADF closets done by A T & T, for faster internet speed. They will always focus on a solution and what they can do for you, as opposed to no to this, no to that, etc. Attitude is everything! The pool has a beautiful view of the skyline at sunset. There are so many LA properties that smile up until you move in, and then turn around and completely change, and treat you horribly. The rental rates here are very reasonable. Location wise - Visconti is unbeatable, because it is outside of the financial district, so it is pretty quiet. You are within a mile of Staples Center, Walt Disney concert hall, echo park, silverlake, and 2-3 miles away from little tokyo and koreatown, home to some of the best restaurants in California. I recommend to anyone looking to live in LA to give Visconti a try. read more

The building itself is beautiful, the conditions are great, and the location is absolutely perfect for me. Since Suhein Beck stepped in as manager, along with Noemi, the entire experience has become even better. They truly changed the atmosphere in the best way possible. Everything feels more organized, more responsive, and just smoother overall. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally, and communication is clear and helpful. Before, I had asked about carpet cleaning and never really received proper information or assistance. But since the new management team arrived, everything has been streamlined and taken care of efficiently. It honestly makes such a difference when management genuinely cares. I've been living in the Visconti for almost two years and it has been a great experience so far. My fiancé Corey and I work remote part-time so it's great to have the office study space when we need s on space for a Zoom meeting. I'm in love with the pool and we are always at the gym, steam room, sauna - super great when you just need a little bit of stress release but don't have time to drive to the gym. I've had a few maintenance needs and even the low priority items get a quick response! Definitely recommend if you're wanting a comfortable place to live close to downtown food and events. read more

I was living at the Visconti for the past two years, and I can honestly say it has been the best experience I have had at an apartment yet. The apartments are extremely affordable, especially considering their size, quality, and all the amenities. The location is safe and monitored by security, the leasing management is tentative and kind, and the maintenance team truly cares and reacts within 48 hours of the request. The pool is lively and always filled with residents on the weekends. Plus, the area is very safe and walkable for LA. The grocery store is 2 minutes down the street, along with a chipotle, and a Starbucks. If I was not moving out of LA I would have continued to live at this complex for many more years. I truthfully do not have a single complaint in my entire two years of living here. A special thank you to Sarabinah, Zach, and Sophia in management. They are amazing! read more

My roommate and I cannot wait to move out of the Visconti once our lease is up. I used to find this place nice and quiet after visiting my roommate's old unit on the fourth floor. That is one of the reasons why I wanted to move here, but the current unit we live in is nowhere near quiet. Every night, I have to deal with loud noises. My next door neighbor talks loudly on the phone outside my window at midnight and plays music and my upstair neighbor likes to do construction work and run around at 2-3 AM in the morning. Being in the healthcare field, I am EXHAUSTED every day but I can barely get any good sleep here. Living here is so uncomfortable and bad for my health. Sometimes I end up going to my boyfriend's house to sleep because it is THAT BAD. I emailed the manager, Gilbert, and he gave us a phone number to call. The patrols are nice and are quick to help me, but my neighbors are still so loud every night. My next-door neighbor has gotten a little better these days, but my upstair neighbors are still so loud. I can't even take a short nap during the day. There is never a time where my unit is quiet. The other night, I woke up to a loud banging noise that seems to be coming from my ceiling. 2:40 AM to be exact. It almost sounds like someone is doing construction, building furnitures, and doing a marathon. I called the patrol at 2:40 and right around 4 AM was when they stopped. It was terrible because I had to see a patient at 8AM and I barely got any sleep. It truly affects my quality of life. I bought earplugs but the sound is so loud. It doesn't help. I emailed Gilbert again a while back but I have yet to hear back from him. If you are like me who has a very busy schedule and night time is the only time you get peace and quiet, look somewhere else. It might be that I just got unlucky with my neighbors but do remember the walls here are very thin. I can hear my neighbor's entire conversation from my room. I've lived at several different apartments and by far the Visconti has been the worst when it comes to noisy neighbors and thin walls/ceilings. Not to mention, we've had roach issues and maintenance issues (leaking fridge and broken washing machine) in the span of 6 months of living here. We even hire our personal maid so not sure why there would be roaches. read more

I've lived here since November. My greatest takeaway so far is that the front office rarely answers the phones. If you call about a maintenance issue and they do happen to answer, you will not see maintenance unless you call at least two more times, reminding the office that you've called before about the same issue. We were forced to live with a broken washing machine for several months, before it was finally replaced. Replacement occurred only once we mentioned that according to the lease, we do not need to pay our full rent if our guaranteed amenities aren't available. A list of things that have been broken in our apartment: - air conditioner - washing machine - garbage disposal - water heater - freezer - the elevator - the actual buttons for the elevator (which have been broken since we moved in, in Nov.) The complex is beautiful, but it's rough having constant paranoia over the next thing that's going to break. Update: An unregistered car is parked in my parking spot so I have nowhere legal to park; I was told by Zach several months ago that I am not allowed to park in the front by the lobby. Today, I was told by Gilbert to just park in the front by the lobby. Another takeaway: it doesn't matter if you're a resident, or if your car is actually registered...apparently the parking lot is a free for all to anyone who can manage to get inside. read more

Just coming back here to update my review about our stay here at the visconti. Six years later and we are still here and happy to call visconti home. we recently moved to a bigger unit and the leasing office has been nothing short of amazing. Zach was awesome with getting us setup and squared away in our new unit and he's such a nice addition to the leasing staff. Everyone in the leasing office is always accommodating. Sandy is great as always she's been here our whole stay and it's nice to still have her here :).The leasing office works together as a team which is really important. While I was in the hospital after delivering my daughter there was a hiccup with a package Gilbert went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. I appreciated it so much that he cared enough to make sure it was handled in a timely manner. Especially for a new mama. The maintainence staff is always on top of every request and willing to help even when i'm being extra. Haha. Shoutout to Julio and Josue for always fixing everything and their professionalism with my maintainence requests.They are always eager to help! The building cleaning crew are always friendly and hold the doors and elevators open if they see a resident in need I appreciate that especially with having a toddler in tow. The Visconti is outdated and overpriced. The management team is rude and not helpful. The management is horrible at communicating and making its residents feel welcomed. The garage is infested with cats that use the restroom by the elevator and sleep on the cars. The only plus to the Visconti is the pool area which has been closed for over three months! I reserved a slot and was still not able to use the pool. Why is that? No ones in the pool and I reserved it but I still can't use it! I would never recommend this apartment. I just want to shout out and give credit where credit is due!! The new Managers Joshua and Daniel have really brought The Visconti back to life and in much order. The Visconti is a nice private community that is very clean with awesome views of DTLA!! The new management has really brought dedication, ownership, and care to this property. They are great listeners and really care about your concerns. They have awesome resident events too! They had a PAINT & SIP event, very nice, calm, and we were taught by a pro artist how to paint, while sipping on some delicious wine. I never knew I could paint, but wow, our paintings came out so good! I didn't know I had such talent. This talent was brought out of me only because of The Visconti! I highly recommend The Visconti for a place to live. read more

After living a year here, we are moving out. Management is nice (Sandy), but there are too many uncontrollable factors. 1/3 parcels are missing all the time. Nobody really checks if that person really lives in that unit before letting them sign out with parcel. Also the alarm is always off in the middle of the night. If you have something broken, for us it was our washing machine, don't expect any help until 2 days plus later. As two girls staying in this apartment, we absolutely do not feel safe with constant AirBNB people rolling in. For this price, you can have many nicer options so yeah we are moving to a better place for sure. read more

We tried to lease a listed apartment and they took $300 for a deposit while our application was pending. They rented out the unit while our application was being processed and refuses to refund the deposit. We have tried calling multiple times, emailing and going in person. We keep getting the runaround or blatantly ignored!!! It's beyond unprofessional and improper business conduct to hold monies, especially when the unit isn't even available! We have since found a home and just want the money returned NOW! Beware of applying as they lure you with lower rental rates only to try to stick you in a more costly unit. Then try to keep your deposit! I wouldn't want to live here! read more

In this apartment I got my bike stolen and the apartment has no parking for bikes they also help the theft to steal my bike. Their security guard are useless and lazy. Their garage door is open all the time and other people got their stuff stolen too just because of the garage door being open. read more

I have been very hesitant to leave a review on this property. Prior to moving to Visconti, I lived in my same apartment for 9 years and only moved because I relocated across country. During my search, Sandy was AMAZING and beyond hospitable. She truly made relocating feel comfortable and worthwhile. Within the first day (end of August) I was asked to complete a walkthrough and document anything that needed to be addressed. At first glance, everything looked good. Not great, but good. As I went through the apartment for inspection I noticed the following: (For added context l, I have documented and followed up on these items about 8 times now) -The dishwasher was left FILTHY, as in food particles, wet paper, and a rancid smell. I attempted to clean it myself but everything was cemented with mold, impossible to clean -There was a white film over the stainless steel appliances , likely bc whoever attempted to clean the unit didn't use the right products -Our glass shower lining was molded and the glass shower needed to be put back on track -The counter tops were covered in while film from someone using the wrong cleaning products, to the extent that you couldn't clean it yourself -White paint everywhere including the floors given there was a terrible rush paint job -holes in the walls from previous tenants -Paint on the vanity mirrors -Globs of hair In the drain of the bathroom left from Previous tenants -ROACHES in the bathroom. Haven't seem them out of the whole apartment (new development) -Missing screen door that was finally installed in November after needing it all summer The list goes on. Today was the final straw because I found tiny roaches in my bathroom area which is disgusting given I keep my apartment clean and santized. I have emailed the leasing office every month since August asking them to fix the outstanding items and the final straw was the fact that maintenance has not resolved the issues I have submitted work orders for. *Maintenance has been awesome. They are short staffed and not always advised of pending work orders so I don't fully blame them. The elevators are filthy (buttons and floor are always soiled) Neighbors also leave dog food on the carpet in the building. I was under the impression that we aren't allowed pets?! At this point I'm fed up! We're in a pandemic and it is understandable that matters may take time to get resolved. What I don't appreciate is the lack of communication and follow through. It makes me feel like I was coerced into moving in, under the guise of strong customer service where the service ends once you move in. This is very disappointing as I have been beyond patient and withheld writing this review, but it's been 4 months since I've moved in and this is unacceptable!!! As a result, I can't in good faith recommend this property. read more

Pluses to living here: Secure-onsite security 24 hrs...gated and locked entries. Late office hours-important for package delivery which is kept securely in leasing office. Board Room use- great fir small meetings. Landscaping-well kept and beautiful. Responsive Maintenance-Issues are handled in a timely fashion. I'm so thrilled to stay here. I don't live here but I crash here on the regular when I can't quite make it back to Pasadena or have to be somewhere near downtown or westward early the next morning... SO I really love staying there! The concierges ooze hospitality. The grounds are immaculate and well decorated. The architecture is lovely and lives up to it's Italian inspired name with fitting decorative accents. It kind of feels like you are leaving the blocky, hard-edged, gray downtown financial district to escape to some exotic Villa via warpzone (or the 110 overpass)... There are a ton of amenities and my friends make no qualms about inviting a bunch of guests over to use the gas grills or enjoy drinks poolside. The building doesn't seem to mind if you invite a lotta people to use the good stuff with you. There seem to be a ton of well-to-do 20-somethings here so the vibe is pretty nice, especially if you're in that yuppie demo. The 2BR i crash in is plush, brand spankin' new carpet, marble kitchen & bathroom counters, clear pane shower doors, and a balcony that can seat about 4 people comfortably. I wish it was closer to the train but i'm probably the only one who cares about that ;P read more

My apartment was broken into. Absolutely nothing was done until multiple other units were burglarized months later. Got no help from management. Just a simple "sorry, can't help ya" reaction. My car was also broken into. There was nothing visible to steal. All they took was an air pump, along with all my documents in the glove compartment. Insurance, registration, maintenance records, etc... Beware of maintenance, caught one on camera lurking around my apartment without permission to enter. Asked management for an explanation, but they said it was a mix up with paperwork. Well he walked in without any papers, went into every room and left. read more

Ive been living here over a year now and the management is pretty horrible. Our lease was supposed to end on july 5 and i was ready to move out. And then they tell me that we were supposed to give a 30 days notice to move out, and that it was written in our 50 page contract. Only the date july 5 is highlighted in the contract, but the 30 days isnt. I dont remember the management telling me this information at all when moving in. My roommate and i are now struggling because we have to pay for another month, when we are not going to be there. My other apartment did not require this. It really seems like they are just trying to get money off of us. Also, when i moved in, they gave us keys that didnt even work. Why not check them beforehand before giving them to tenants? Also the ac barely worked although we got it fixed. My toilet also made loud noises and my bathtub water barely went down... i am really glad to be moving out of this apartment. read more
