One of my family members broke their foot, and was unable to place any weight on it. Crutches were difficult, and the access to the house is not amenable to crutches either. I was able to rent a portable ramp from mobility 101 very short notice. This allowed the use of a knee scooter to safely navigate the steps onto concrete. It made a huge and immediate impact on the recovery. The people I interacted with were very professional and friendly. read more

I purchased a Handicare Freecurve chairlift for my wife back in 7-21-2018 from Paul the owner Of 101 Mobility, and I should have read in-be-tween the lines, from the start when he tried to over sale me, meaning the total price was $14,578.50 and I asked him if there was any way to lower the price and he said no, so when i looked at the invoice there was no price on it so here it is, as followed L1 (Freecurve - 90 Degree Flat Turn Curved Stairlift Price $14,578.50 L2 (Freecurve - Alliance Seat & +1 Price $0.00 L3 (Freecurve - Reduced Lower Intrusion) & +1 Price $0.00 L4 (Freecurve 90 Degree Flat or Spiral Bend) & +1 Price $0.00 L5 (Freecurve - Powered Footrest w/ Illumination) & +1 Price $0.00 L6 (Freecurve - Additional & (Freecurve Additional Track (1ft) +3 Price $0.00 then I asked Paul how much would it be to take out L5 (Freecurve - Powered Footrest w/ Illumination) AND that amount $1000.00 plus so i told Paul to take it out! further on 101 Mobility out of Sacramento Ca, came out about 6 to 8 times for different noises it was making, and now the last time I got 101, so a little over a month ago the noises got really loud, so called 101 Mobility in Sacramento to arrange a service call and after a few days a technician named Russ came to my house, and after 5 minutes he determined it was the plastic white rollers that it needed, so he said he would be right back cause he needed to go around the corner to get the parts, due to the fact that there was a parts warehouse less than a mile away from me, and after 10 to 15 min Russ called back and said that they didn't have the white plastic rollers in stock and that they needed to order them, so the next day I receive a text with an invoice for $315,00 for the service call plus $170,00 for the white plastic rollers, so I asked Victoria why i was being charged $315,00 for a service call? when they didn't have the parts in stock at their home base in Sacramento nor the warehouse here in Hayward? plus I was going to be charged another $315,00 to come back? so at that point I decided to not use their services, and I called 101 Mobility in San Carlos Ca. and had a their technician look at the chair and he needed to called tech support advisor and he explain to tech support the situation, of there not being a bottom plate bracket that wasn't installed at installation and that was the culprit so, I emailed Victoria with the results of the findings, so after a few days she got ahold of 101 Mobility out of San Carlos, and told them at the time that they would cover the charges! and the day before 101 Mobility San Carlos was scheduled to come out and do the work, San Carlos 101 called me and said that Paul called and said that they wasn't going to cover the parts or labor, because it wasn't going to make any different if the part was on there or not! and that was his reasoning, and at that point I was told that Paul hung up the phone! and after numerous attempts of trying to call Paul, he wouldn't answer! so I called and got a hold of Christine and I ask to speak to Paul, I was asked the reason for wanting to speak to Paul, so I tried to explained my reason for calling! and when I explain to Christine why I wanted to talk to Paul, she said he wasn't in and neither was Victoria, at that point Christine began trying to tell me in so many words that they wasn't going to do anything further more, and that I needed and should call 101 Mobility San Carlos for any future needs or wants! And I tried to speak but I was being talked-over and couldn't hardly get a word out to say anything she just kept talking over me and wouldn't listen to anything I had to say! Getting back to the Lift Chair bottom plate bracket that wasn't installed from the time of purchased, and it being the culprit to the many times of repeated service calls, I did have 101 Mobility San Carlos install the bracket and wouldn't you know it! It fixed the issues I was having I should have listen to my First Impression! buyer beware! read more

I love 101 mobility. Sometimes I think they overcharge. For instance, there is one service they provide once every three months; it takes no more than an hour and I am charged $315. There aren't too many alternatives in town, so I pay it with a smile. read more

Bad first impression. Buyers beware. As a selling point we were told that our stair chair lift would be installed before Christmas. We purchased the stair lift and got an appointment for 12-21-19. Now, after two conflicting reasons, they have changed the appointment to 12-31-19. I will post another review after final install to rate the complete experience. read more

This place is horrible. The owner Paul is abusive and very unprofessional. He over charges by thousands of dollars and is relatively impossible to get a hold of as he has multiple gatekeepers. When you can get him on the phone he is rude and refuses to listen. The staff is great though. Victoria, Kristin, and Rob are so friendly and you can tell they want to help. If Paul treats them the way he treats customers I actually feel sorry for them. I would never recommend a company the is headed by someone like Paul, and unfortunately that reflects badly on the s whom again are fantastic. Paul should take some notes from Victoria ans Kristin on how to speak to customers. read more

Victoria and her husband, Eli, have been wonderful with their service. I ordered a Bruno Chariot to be added to the back of my car for my power wheelchair. They ordered it in and it arrived sooner than they promised. They picked up my car at my home to do the install and delivered it back to my home that afternoon. Eli went through the process of how to secure my chair and then went on a drive with me. After the install I had a few questions and they let me stop by their location to answer them and reassure me. Later I had issues with my restraint system and didn't feel comfortable driving to their location. Eli was able to make a house call in quick fashion. There was a problem with the belts so they took care of getting replacements from the vendor. Again, Eli made a house call to make the repairs. The level of service received from the entire company is fantastic. They even remember my three legged dog. I highly recommend this company. read more

I can't say enough positives about 101 Mobility! Eli who installed our Stairlift is so professional and did such an awesome job! Victoria is the person who runs the office and makes it All work along with Paul the owner. We researched Stairlift and companies for a year and one year ago decided to deal with 101 mobility and had a beautiful stairlift installed that makes a180 and 90 degree turns. We love our Stairlift but ended up having a rare problem with the motor. This is where service become so important on who you work with! Victoria and her team worked very hard with the manufacturer who is in Europe and had them replace the stair lift motor. This really shows you how much they support their customers and stand behind the products that they sell. Thank you all so much, you are a great team and are a great company! Because Victoria went out of her way to help get the extra ramp installed on approval, my mom is now able to get in and out of the garage without struggling.
