Folks are chill and mind their business ... but if you're a dude that likes some banter at the register - omg. Jackson is super pro, knows all the products, always has my (unusual) brand in stock - or conjures a fresh carton from the back somehow (every other joint in town is out half the time) - plus! seriously one of the brighter lights / instant charisma wizards I've bumped into in a business in ... hella long time. Enthusiastic, real, energetic, funny like laugh out loud style, super solid - I spend time in there just shooting the sh*t - and then wander around spending random money like a drunken sailor on posters and stickers and keychains and candy I even use the atm on the regular chuckle ... just so I can hang a little longer! Later met his gal pal Nic: same - super sweet, smart, fun...later got to know Curtis U, another major cat - now everyone in there. I met the owner Carla the other day finally (I'd heard of her from the folks)...hand to god I stood at the register for several minutes gushing about how much I like the store and especially the employees. I don't even smoke cannabis anymore, haven't for years and years. But feel totally at home there. This place is off the hook. I almost hope no one else goes there so I can get more attention and fun...!!! All the customers are always happy, I start conversations with everyone in there like a freakin cocktail party. Truly great small business. And again - just the prices alone warrant a stop-thru. I hardly ever write on yelp - but Carla's team: Jackson, Nic, Curtis, wish I could shout out the others - just a blast. Best part: I found out a friend of mine lives in studio city - started taking about the neighborhood - and the first thing we asked each other: dude do you go that smoke shop next to Subway?? I went like 4 different smoke shops and prices was scary lol so on my way when i exited bahram from 101 freeway i saw smoke shop which and name was 101 lol i that it was cool and i went there. And i went and told them i want to quit smoking . They had biig variety of e cigs and eiquids whic i never seen any smoke shops i went before. So they gave me %35 off on my e cig and i bought 2 e liquid and Arthur gave me 1 for free how nice is that. I was surprised cuz i been lot of smoke shops and never seen something like this. So now its already 4 days i didnt smoke cigs. Thank u so much guys ill be back again for my e juice . Costumer service is perfect top quality brands for perfect price. Great place for fine cigars at very reasonable prices. The walk in humidor rivals any cigar store in the valley with a large variety of fine cigars. I'm always able to find a great smoke no matter what I am in the mood to smoke which is enhanced by the fact that they're open open until midnight insuring that I can grab a stick or two after dinner. They also carry a wide variety of accessories again at reasonable prices. If purchased a few torches there which have outlasted & out performed many of my expensive lighters. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and eager to please. A great place to shop & very convenient combined with the selection service & hours make 101 a smokers dream. read more

I had purchased a vaporizer from another smoke shop my son can quit smoking they lied to me said it was good one week later it broke I was driving by on cahuenga when I saw 101 smoke shop and said let me give another try and met to nice young men and explained to them what happend they helped me find a good vaporizer and gave some good discounts and a free e liquid for my first time there and thought me the nicotine I gave it to my son he loved hasn't smoked a actual cig for a week now this place has earned us forever worth the 10min drive from Van nuys for amazing customer service and the care they give there customers is like family read more

I'm so impressed!! The selection of pipes is insane!! The store is very close to one of my local hangouts and I knew it was under new ownership so I thought I would stop in and check things out. Arthur was so kind and helpful and I immediately felt comfortable. He introduced me to a couple different smoking devices that completely blew my mind. For example I bought a pipe that looks like a tube of lipstick. So cool! I also had a very specific request for a product that I've been looking for for years and he found it for me in under a week. This was my second visit to the 101 Smoke shop. My first visit was far less pleasant, and it was when they'd first opened for business, about two years ago. I gave them a 2nd shot, recently, since my regular Smoke Shop was already closed for the day. Sergio totally surprised me with superb customer service! He didn't have in stock everything I was shopping for; but, he offered to order some product that normally isn't carried there. Furthermore, I found the pricing competitive. It's hard to find a clean smoke shop nowadays and to start off this shop was flawless. I walked in and automatically felt welcomed. I was looking for a good hookah and a guy named Max helped me out. He gave me a great deal on the hookah and I also bought a few high quality cigars from their walk in humidified cigar room. Literally my favorite smoke shop ever and I have been to almost everyone from the tarzana to Hollywood...they have the cheapest prices and will work with you...best selection of water pipes, bubblers everything I was looking for. I probably saved $40 going to 101 smoke shop than all of the previous places I'd buy at. Went to get a replacement hookah stem and ended up walking out with a better hookah at an unbeatable price. They have an amazing selection of shisha and the staff, Arthur, is super helpful, friendly, and informative. I was very impressed as a whole, the shop is very clean and organized. One of the best Cigar Stores with A climate controlled walk in humidor in the Los Angeles Area and specifically in this area of the city. Their cigar selection is above average with a few selections of everyday smokes as well as medium to high end smokes. Really love the turn this shop has taken for the better ever since the new owners took over. I make it a point to stop by whenever I am in the area or getting coffee at the starbucks.
