This establishment deserves absolutely nothing! I wish I could give it 0 stars. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! I have a long list of problems with this shop, here are just the 2 biggest points I have to make against this store. 1. The worker has a very apparent anger problem. I saw him blow up on a CUSTOMER that simply asked for proper documentation - proof of purchase. When the customer tried to do an exchange instead, it's almost as if the worker did not want to understand english at that moment and thus just screamed for the customer to get out of his store. 2. They OVER charge. From their glass to their electronics, everything is way over priced. When I showed them the prices online, they said it's probably fake. Oh really? How is it possible that the manufacturer's website has counterfeit items of THEIR OWN PRODUCTS ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE! They sold a PAX 3 for $350!!! But authorized retailers sell it for $280, literally anywhere else! They act like they are cutting you a deal, and hooking you up, but do you really come in prepared knowing the prices of the items you're looking for? They are just ripping people off. These types of business practices are so deceiving. Smoke shops are suppose to be a helpful middle man between customer and manufacturer. Smoke shops are NOT suppose to be purchasing something like a PAX 3 at wholesale price for $220 to sell it themselves at $350. Disgusting. All authorized retailers sell it for $280. I seriously can't get over seeing that. Smoke shops know that not everything they sell can have the same profit margin. On glass they make huge profit margins, while in electronics you make smaller profit margins. Studio City Smoke Shop is just a greedy establishment that preys on uneducated customers. read more
