Located in the heart of Hollywood. Metered street parking out front. Bars, restaurants, clubs, and an array of food trucks all within a hop, skip, and a jump away. You're in the right place if you get the munchies after treating yourself to some trippy new glass, a Scorchi torch, and a nice dab of wax (you'll have to find that somewhere else, but don't worry, it's not hard to find!). Hit up Musso & Frank's for some proper, old school Italian dining or perhaps one of the nearby, semi-divey food trucks? Back to Third I! Another great thing about this place is that they're open late - til 3am on the weekends! And if Rio is working when you stop by, make sure to show him some love! i'm confused? i went here before and the guy asked for no id, let us see the glasses, let us pay and even gave us a discount. i go today and its the complete opposite, the guy wanted id, which is fine i just left it at home so i asked if i can see the glasses to decide what i wanted and the come back to pay with my id. and guess what? he said no i need the id... what do you mean you need my id to just see the glasses? i'm visually looking at the glasses without my id but now you want it? if you didn't want me to see the glasses then ask me for my id when i enter the shop, get off your phone and do you job the right way. none of the employees are on the same page, one wants id and one doesn't, one is cool and one is L A M E. make up your mind on what your rules and policies are, either you're on the same page or you're not. people dont want to return or give you business if we're being told one thing and then being told the other. i admit, i should've brought my id but i shouldn't have to bring my id just to look stuff, is it illegal to look at stuff without knowing my age, name, and address? if you wanted to know all that at least take me to dinner first. very disappointed and will not be returning. read more

If you are a collector of anything, smoke related, whether it's bongs, lighters, torches, scales, toys, things of glass, things of wood, things that burn, things that smoke, things with flavor, things that are bland, things that glow, things that flow, things that are rubber, things that are plastic, aluminum, metal, silver, gold, multi-colored, matte finished, etc. you can find it here! I love Third Eye Smoke Shop; it's pretty much the only smoke shop I get my "toys" from, which is what I like to called my bong collection. It never fails when I go in there, there's the wonderful sound of deep house music playing ALWAYS, so immediately the mood to shop is set, at least in my brain. I go to get ONE thing and Ryou, the manager, always has something new to show me; can't tell you how many times I've spent bill money in this establishment and just prepared myself to make payment arrangements because the store really does have some interesting items. The best part is you're allowed to put merchandise on layaway (for those of you who remember what that is and how it works) especially if it's something you want but don't have the money to get it, & you want to hold it from being sold. There's no certain amount of time that you're pressured or rushed to get off layaway. Of course common sense would tell you not to go past 30 days. Ryou works with you and he's very patient, knowledgeable, smart, and hip to all the trendy product when it comes to merchandise and getting his orders from the warehouse on a timely basis. Very knowledgeable on how things work, on how to fix things that are broken or not working properly, and when it comes to soldering or fixing anything electrical, he dies on it like it's second nature. Rio was extremely helpful with assisting us, a different employee charged us for something and forgot to put it in our bag and Rio made sure we left happy. Late night find... LOVED IT! Came here around 2am and needed a wax/dab pen with ceramic donut.. only shop on the strip that had what I needed just when I thought I was going home empty handed. Not only did I get the pen I wanted but got a deal on extra ceramic donuts and even the pen...Amazon can't beat this place lol! Customer Service..A++++... Excellent customer service!! Thanks to someone else's review, I found yellow contact lenses for Halloween needs at this shop. Called them at 9pm and found out they have a fair price and open till 3 am. They have many colors to chose from. Unlike Canada and Europe, contact lenses in US is so restricted. I looked everywhere for them online but most websites take at least one week to ship. Can't believe I got a pair in my hands at 10 pm on a Tuesday night. Only in Hollywood! read more

Cool shop, looked around for a while and ended buying some cool colored contact lenses. They had a great variety of water pipes, and Rashelle the nice girl working was really cool about us taking our time to decide if we wanted to buy a pipe. They sell costume eye contacts!! I mean, they're a smoke shop first above everything else...but super handy to have around for Halloween as well. I work up in Burbank and decided to metro it into Hollywood instead of making that drive over the hill. Third I was a quick walk from the station, but a little hard to find without clear signs indicating the business name. I had to walk into a few other places and ask before I found the right one. It also doesn't help that every other place down there looks like a smoke shop, soooo not totally their fault. The guy there was super sweet and extremely helpful. Such a great attitude, I felt completely comfortable shopping there. My husband loves hookah, so we might be back sooner than later! :) read more
