I debated whether to respond to the frivolous lies After Hours Auto and Truck posted in reply to my review. . The truth will prevail! Let me break it down lie by lie. EXCUSE ME, I meant *line by line: 1. The 15 minutes call could have been a lot quicker if I ya'll could tell me what is included in that inspection. I dont think ya'll could have given a straight answer if your lives depended on it! 2. I was not comfortable paying the entire bill when I couldn't get a straight answer of what I was exactly paying for. However, I offered to pay half the night before and half after the work was finished. 3. If you recall, the whole point in getting a mobile mechanic was because I just started a job and I had a meeting in the morning with my director. Which I was very clear on calling ya'll back ASAP after the meeting. Ya'll agreed and decided to make the appt and set expectations that the work would be done. Saving best for last! 4. When I called afterwards to find out nothing had been done. I was scoffed at for asking, "so how do we proceed from here?" the reply, "ughhhh, were busy now." And then silence. There never was an offer to come back out later or even another day. So I think the one truth throughout the entire response from After Hours Auto ans Truck: I told them I am leaving a review of my experience. Guess they took that as a threat. When in reality my intent was to warn others of the awful experience I had with Afrer Hours Auto and Truck. If you treat people right then you wouldn't have to worry about someone leaving a review! Christian came out replaced battery, made suggestions for additional repairs needed... Great! Said would follow up, never heard from again. Sent text, emailed and called to get receipt for the $400+ battery replacement. NO RESPONSE OR REPLY. When you pay this amount for a new battery, travel and labor, you WANT a receipt for warranty on the battery. I want and need my receipt. But he won't respond. read more

After four years, my car battery finally kicked the bucket. I hopped on Yelp and saw After Hours was right up the road. I gave them a call and spoke with Luis, who was driving and asked me to respond to a text with my information. I did so and he called me back promptly to let me know when he would be by. Unfortunately for Luis, he got a flat tire on the way! He gave me another call to apologize and give an updated arrival time frame. No issue for me-- I was working at home and didn't need to go anywhere in a rush. Upon arrival, Luis and his colleague had my new battery installed and running within 10 minutes. The total cost was $352 including the battery, installation, and city tax. Very reasonable and I couldn't have asked for better or more timely service. read more

My fiancé and I needed to drain our fuel tank. My fiancé was under the Jeep and offered to send the gentleman pictures of the tank to help with a quote - to which he interrupted my fiancé and said "I get it's simple to YOU, but that's just not the way things work as a mechanic..." My fiancé obviously responded with surprise to the insult and asked why the employee would make an assumption that he was "simple", as he is a mechanic and a mechanical engineer. I highly recommend After Hours Auto & Truck. A mechanic avail 24/7, say less! I called on a Saturday evening after my Jeep started making a screeching sound and was told to come into the shop. When I arrived, Christian immediately assessed my problem and got to work after letting me know the costs. He was not at all pushy on his services which I really appreciated. He gave me the information of what needed to be done and let me make the decision. I left my Jeep overnight and by 4pm the next day he had replaced the brakes, shocks, and a bad bearing. Called this repair service to try and get my vehicle fixed, the guy I talked to said he was up all night and was tired. He told me to send him the location of where the vehicle was and he would be there within an hour. I waited about 1.5 hour before reaching out to get an ETA and never heard back. Very unprofessional, if you're in need of getting your vehicle repaired and get back on the road, I suggest finding a better option. I understand being a 24/7 hour mechanic and being tired from working all night but at-least have the decency to tell a potential customer you're not interested in their business so they arnt sitting around broke down waiting for a call back read more

Continued... this nice woman was told that he didn't even know if he would have time to fix it she said well this is the work needed to be done when I came I need it done today do I'm laughing that here this woman in front of me is also being scammed how do you take your car somewhere tell them what to fix they charge you fix something totally different then what you came in for then wants to charge you for that and the work that you request it's a scam their scammers. Just like my ins bill they held into for 10 days and refused to give my ins company because until I made stick and reported it as insurance fraud to my company that's exactly what they were gonna do the manager had told my sons dad who I had call cuz I was so upset that he didn't even know anything about the tow guy calling me and the price was still the sane yet when I picked up my car and complained all of a sudden he said I was there on the call that's not what happened lol well if I'm wrong then why didn't they bill my in company for the 10 days they had my car so they could get paid? That's cuz they were gonna rack up the charges that's why so here I had to pay a 405$ tow bill that I now have to be reimbursed for instead of them having it paid so I could pick up my car with just the cost of the repairs then! When she put the car keys on the counter I said those are not my keys!! they handed me someone else's car keys! Which considering how old my car is! i would have been better off taken theres!!! They knew I was coming to pick up my car that morning! And thank god! I didn't do what was suggested! To pay for my car in the morning then go pick it up after they close! Or they would have given me the wrong keys with the wrong car I would have paid 900$ and still been without my car all weekend if I had done that! Then he pulls my car up covered ice more ice and more freezing then the actual temperature even outside like they were storing it in a meat locker I go to grab my nice new 20 dollar long length ice scraper and it's broken! The jerks tried to used my scraper broke it! Then through it back in my car without even saying anything! I said am I gonna get a refund on my ice scraper! So I had to stand their for over 20 minutes using the teeny tiny rough piece left on my ice scraper to try and be able to make my car visible to drive if course when I paid 900$ for my car god forbid they provide me with that service or even walk over with a good ice scraper to help me scrape off my car so I can pull out of their parking lot and never look back!! Do not take your car here they are liars scammers and without a doubt treat women terribly with no respect in how they treat or speak to them as customers and try and con women out of their money!!! dont ever use this guy no matter how desperate you are, he is a lyer and fraud. he had my truck for 6 months and refused to finish the job which was a total of 18 hours labor. then after i threatened to sue him and the landlord where his fly by nite shop is, which he never goes to, he slapped it together and told me it was still doing the same thing. before i sent the tow truck to pick up my truck, he had the balls to offer me $1000 "to take it off my hands". i towed the truck to chapman dodge where they confirmed it was not fixed properly. i am sure this was his intent the entire time. he wanted to drag it out and then come in and offer a ridulous low price knowing i would be so disgusted by this time. he then proceeded to "help me make the truck disappear" so i could claim it on insurance. so he wanted me to engage in criminal fraud so he could " hide the truck where it would never be found". he would have used my truck for parts. if anyone from uhaul reads this and wants to know more, contact me and i can tell you the whole story. i know he works for uhaul doing mobile repair and if he is ripping me off, he is doing the same thing to uhaul. this guy is the worst of the worst. mechanics have a license to steal if they choose to and this guy is doing just that. dont get tied up with guy. and if anyone who reads this has had similiar experiences and wants to file a complaint with the attorney generals office, let me know. they may be able to recover money for people if enough complaints come forward. read more

Once again Christian comes through again! I sent him a message inquiring how much he would charge to replace my water pump on my 2006 F250 6.0 diesel as the truck was leaking coolant. The price quoted was spot on to what I had researched. He called me and came to my house the next day. Found out that it was more than the water pump. When you watch YouTube videos on Powerstroke 6.0 failures you get overwhelmed by how much money it could cost to bullet proof (dealer proof) the engine. Christian replaced, repaired and cleaned all of the affected parts plus parts that could fail at any time. My other car, 2001 Isuzu Rodeo needed the belt tensioner replaced. I was driving down from the Grand Canyon on my way home to Sierra Vista (southern most end of Arizona). While in Phoenix, my car's clutch gave out. My car was helplessly stuck in the hotel's parking lot. It was a Sunday after 5PM. I was stressing out because I had a few friends I had to take to the airport in time and I wanted to get back home in time. Rental car was an option. All major shops were closed. Then I called After Hours...one of only a handful of 24/7 shops in town. I told them my situation and to my surprise they offered to come to ME! Christian (the owner) was extremely professional and helpful. Over the phone he asked several questions to help diagnose the issue and later dropped by to take a look at my car. I wasn't even there. I was on the other side of town having to deal with a possible rental car so I had left my keys with the hotel's front desk. He then told me that it was a simple fix and that I could be on my way I just needed to get a part replaced, which could be found at any car shop store (e.g. Autozone, Pep Boys, etc.) He drove around town looking for this part himself. He went to numerous shops looking for it. In my mind, this is definitely going above and beyond what was expected. I did not expect a man as busy as him to spend time driving around looking for a part that he could've easily asked me to find. We finally found one and was able to fix the car. I learned he is a military veteran, enjoys cars, and enjoys helping people. He always gave me periodic updates over the phone and explained to me how he doesn't mind driving around because he "understands" my situation and the "frustration." That level of empathy does not come around often of an OWNER of a busy auto repair business. Christian, thank you so much for saving me in my dire situation and helping me get back on the road. You saved me so much money and the continued follow-up calls AFTER I got back home to check on me was extremely appreciated. It wasn't an emergency and he happily worked with my schedule. He showed up, to my home, Saturday morning and quickly got to work. Ran to purchase a new battery, changed and aired up some tires and got my vehicle started. The brake pads needed to be changed, so we took the car to his shop. He completed the job the next day, since I didn't live far from the shop, he even offered to deliver the car back to my home!
