This place is the perfect little family owned bodega. Delicious smoothies, great prices, quality goods, and caring owners.

Another hidden gem on the UWS/Morningside Heights area. Everyone knows M2M and The Mill (ugh terrible) for Korean food and this the least known. However it's also the cheapest and possibly the best. My Korean ex and I would go here and pick up some soups and kimchee as well as various other things I don't remember their name but all good and tasty. Everything here is pretty much $5-7. The steal is the pork or beef bulgolgi and rice/vegetable combo for $5 or so. Check out their cheap and homemade breakfast made infront of you...I sometimes pick up an egg and cheer sandwich for $1-2. I don't know how they're making profit off everything but again, I'd always go here instead of the crappy food at the Mill. Support this place Columbia students! read more

It looks like a cute place, but then I saw some moldy-looking dumplings sitting in the "fresh foods" section. One of the proprietors was restocking the shelves so I figured she'd pull these down, but she left them right at the front and just kept adding boxes. Shop with caution! read more

Disregard that Megan person's photo of the moldy dumplings, and the complaining of the other serial internet complainers. It's a NYC Bodega. I've worked at Michelin star restaurants and I'd argue food carts are more "clean" or have better service. Is she a transplant I wonder... Anyway again it's a small NYC neighborhood Bodega that'll probably be gone in a few years. So while it's here.... Go for the Kimchi that's one of the best and cheapest in town. She also has vegan radish kimchi. And if you see mold on something just let them know and go on your way vs posting a pic about it and potentially hurting a small biz. I think they allow breaking of six packs for cheap craft beer. read more

Come here every morning for the amazing iced coffee. Pre-packaged egg salad sandwiches are pretty good too. Super convenient. Love it.

I was trying to find someplace for smoothies in this area. Juice Generation moved 10 blocks away, there was nothing in sight! Dangit! Oh wait... is that? On the awning? Korean... snacks... SMOOTHIES?? Ohhh yeah!! If you're in a crave for some decently priced and tasting 16oz real fruit smoothies for $4-6, you're in luck! This little deli/store is pretty much like a mini-Hmart + convenience store, which is awesome. The prices seem pretty standard, but they've got a lot of variety: kimchi, hot korean food, ramen, smoothies, natural juices, flowers, beer, etc. They also have breakfast sandwiches for $1-2 (super cheap), carrot juice for $2, and sells beer (they have Magic Hat #9, bonus points)! The service is pretty friendly, although it takes them a while to make the smoothies. Totally coming back here sometime to get more smoothies / food when I'm in a rush! read more

This place has the best Kim Chee and Korean banchan this side of the Hudson. It's just absolutely delicious and such a treat. Everything is homemade. Also great for a basic cup of coffee and breakfast sandwich too. read more

Awful place. Rats, No heat, overpriced and rude. Except for the women working the registers, who have braved no heat in the winter, this place is awful. How does the management not have space heaters on the coldest day of the year for their employees? Despicable! Don't go in the back, you will be running from the scurry of rats. read more

Honestly I'm not the type person who try to destroy a business with one review but I want to give my feedback to the owners or manager of this place, I think if you need to increase prices people will pay for what they want, i made specific request for my juice and I feel that they give me whatever they want, do it to my health I have strict diet and was looking for a good fresh squeeze juice, any way I will give another try another time! I have to be extremely impassioned to write a Yelp review (hence my track record: a five-star and a one-star), but the treatment I received at 104 Broadway Farm was not to be believed. Last night, my visiting mother bought me a single rose from the outdoor florist. As soon as we got it home we cut it and put it in water, but by morning it had wilted. Tonight we returned to the market hoping for a simple trade-in. After waiting five minutes for the young flower vendor to pause his phone call and help me (which he never did), we went inside and explained the situation to the older man in charge. He refused the swap, insisting no rose would wither in less than 24 hours. As we continued to calmly state the facts, he began screaming at us, demanding we tell him who sold us the flower. We couldn't recall who was working the register -- unsurprising, given the number of service and authority figures we'd encountered in our busy day of touring NYC -- and he latched onto this detail as proof that we'd fabricated the whole story and were trying to con another rose out of him. My mom left after informing the man that she'd never shop at his market again (to which he replied "No problem!"), but I stuck around, trying to reason with him. Finally I told him if he really believed I would go to such extremes for one free flower, he should look me in the eye and tell me I'm a liar -- which he did without hesitation! I can say in all honestly this is the worst treatment I've ever received anywhere. For a $3 rose my mom and I had our night ruined and our worst impressions of New Yorkers reinforced. Stinginess, dishonesty and epic rudeness: these are things you should expect if you patronize 104 Broadway Farm. read more
