The prices are pretty good and I definitely get my money's worth. They have a few pre-packaged "grab and go" vegetables for a $1 if you don't feel like picking and bagging your veggies yourself. I wish I still lived in the neighborhood but even though I don't anymore I still occasionally take a train out to Growing Farm. I definitely get my money's worth here than the vegetable stores in my neighborhood.

Everything else, from packaged goods to imported ones are going to be in limited supply and likely at a slight markup compared to the more stacked markets out east or in Chinatown. Sunnyside hasn't managed to strike much of a chord with the Asian variety as it has with the Eastern Euro or Latin markets, so I'm thankful that there is even an option at all. Dig a little deeper into the aisles and one will find some pretty standard stuff that is offered at every market and even some of the corner bodegas. There are some smaller specialized sections for hot pot ingredients, a tiny butcher in the back selling standard cuts, a noodle section, sauces, drinks, snacks, and instant *insert whatever* across their three aisles. The staff is all Chinese and I've been told that they also are working on delivery at some point in the future. The crowds are never much of an issue here, even on the weekends. They do take credit card and parking is limited to street only. If one is lucky, the store bodega cat might make an appearance. Service is not going to be that helpful and the quality of a lot of things are probably not going to be optimal. The store is also not the cleanest or the most organized. However, if one can spend $20 walk out with a fish, snacks, and a decent selection of fruit, that's a deal anywhere, but especially NYC. When you shop and buy $50 bucks of products at Chang Jiang Supermarket within 90 minutes you get parking for free. Purchased $25 dollars and overstay 90 minutes. My parking fee was $10 bucks. Great deal compared to parking at other lots that can cost $12-$16. Definitely, the aisles were well maintained here. We shopped for papaya and staff was picking up the wrappers and sweeping the floor. Lots of sales when it comes to shopping for vegetables. Fruits are fresh and well packaged. Busy shopping here and lines get long at the cash register however staff is very efficient and moves quickly. Will be back again.
