Best coffee I've ever had -- it is absolutely worth the hype! It took about 10 minutes to get our coffee, but every second of the wait was worth it. The texture was incredibly smooth and silky, not heavy at all, yet rich and satisfying at the same time. I'm honestly not a coffee expert, so I can't explain exactly what made it so special, but it felt like heaven in a cup. One sip and I understood why people wait in line for it. Good escape from the rain. Drinks 4/5 Happy with the sugar level in our drinks. We don't like them too sweet with a little of that bitterness still in there. Service 5/5 I liked that our waitress got the hint that we only wanted coffee and didn't press us to order anything else or rush us out. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but the Salted Brown Butter Oat Latte is 100% worth the wait! My friend and I stopped by at around 11am on a Sunday and there was around a 20 minute wait. The line moves really fast and is only for the brown butter drink. The coffee was so incredibly creamy and had the perfect balance between sweet and salty. Highly recommend! read more

I went here for the salted brown butter and oat latte and let me tell you it did not disappoint! We waited about 20 minutes, but the line moves fast. This latte is on draft and although it is a popular place online I actually enjoyed the drink. If you go into it with the expectation of waiting in a line, it's worth the hype! Do people even get anything else other than the salted brown butter oat latte? There isn't a cash register - just a person with a chip reader who takes your order. Ninety percent of the people who come here just get the latte. I came on a very slow Thursday morning and was able to try this without standing in line for an hour. I really liked it the first time I had it! But I did wait in a 45 minute line in the heat for this drink so I was hesitant to say it was worth it. I came again a few days later on a weekday and didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes! But that day, it was a bit too salty (I was getting really big salt chunks in every sip). Definitely worth trying but see if you can avoid the long line! If you do decide to wait it out, it does move pretty quick. Also I didn't love their other cafe drinks so stick to the salted brown butter oat latte! read more

Yeah, I was one of the victims that came across social media videos (on IG, not Tiktok) about their popular Salted Brown Butter and Oat Latte on tap. I was prepared for the long line but coming on a Wednesday afternoon helps as there were only about 4-5 people ahead of us. Like most places in NY, there's not many seating here. I think I saw less than five high top seats by the barista island tabletop and they were all occupied. So I ordered the latte on tap while my friend ordered an iced Bergamot Honey Latte. Although the iced Salted Brown Butter and Oat Latte was good, it was personally not for me due to how sweet it is. While my friend preferred my drink, I liked hers better due to it simply being less sweet. Not faulting the drink itself, just not my personal liking. read more

I was so ready to hate on caffe paradiso - complain about the long lines and talk about how it is overhyped. But it isn't. And I'm already planning my next visit. The line was around the block at 10 am on a Saturday morning. But moved very quickly. We were at the counter in less than 20 mins. We got (obviously!) the trending salted brown butter latte and a seasonal hot beverage. Both were excellent! The best part is the small park right across the street where we carried our coffee and croissants to and enjoyed a little picnic in the sun! I'll be back! read more

Came all the way here after seeing the hype online, only to discover the line was longer than my patience and they had exactly one drink available. ONE. At that point, it felt less like a menu and more like a surprise challenge. To be fair, the drink was actually good, and the café is undeniably cute. The aesthetic is working overtime. Worth the hype and fully warranted to be going viral now. The Salted Butter Oatmilk Latte is the best latte I have ever had. I inhaled it. In fact, we went back in line just to get another cup. The line moves fast and I like the idea of a paper card to show you paid once it is your turn to grab your drink. The inside is stunning, love the black and white picture on the wall of a girl being pursued by three men. Their milk options are pistachio milk, oat and panna...I mean say less. What an experience. I am literally not a coffee person, but Caffe Paradiso changed that for me. This was easily the most delicious coffee I've ever had - I've been dreaming about it daily since I left. Since it's viral on TikTok, the line was very long, but it moved decently fast. I waited about 20 minutes total. Because they're so popular right now, the process is very "go, go, go." You prepay for your coffee, grab it, and head out. They definitely rush you through a bit, so I didn't get to really sit and enjoy the interior, but from what I saw, the place is really pretty. Seeing the coffee on tap was a cool touch, too. The workers were surprisingly nice considering the insane amount of people they have to deal with all day. I had an amazing experience here today! Everyone who worked here was so friendly and kept thanking everyone in line for being there. Most people were in line for their famous salted brown butter oat latte, so they have it on tap outside ready for the large amount of orders. This made the line go super fast. I took a peek inside of the cafe after I picked up my latte and I love the decor! The latte is totally worth the hype! You can tell they use high quality ingredients, and the whole experience was smooth and positive. I'm hoping to go back one more time on this NYC trip before I head home! read more

This has been all over my social media suggested in forever and ofc, I had to try it once I had a chance to go to NYC. It's true the lines are long especially during the weekend BUT it moves quickly especially when you're with your friends! Its pretty pricey for coffee. I think I paid around $8 for a cup. There's minimal seating available if I remember correctly but there is a small park in front if you would like to sit down. The coffee was delicious, the coffee on tap idea is genius. I was in the mood for something hot, and the staff recommended their Autumn Spiced Latte as the warm version of the viral salted caramel drink. It definitely hit the spot... cozy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. It's definitely a grab and go spot versus a sit down coffee shop. They only had two seats which were taken when we went, but we wouldn't have sat in there anyway, because it was crowded. We went on a Saturday afternoon so there was obviously a line, but it wasn't too bad: maybe about 20-25 minutes. Once you get to a certain point in the line, an employee will ask you what you want to order, and the line diverges between people getting the Salted Brown Butter and Oat latte on draft (us) and literally anything else. After you pay, the latte people get a little chip to exchange at the (adorable) draft latte cart. The latte itself is very good, deftly navigating the thin line between perfectly sweet and too sweet. It's creamy and a little buttery, but I didn't notice too much salt until the end, maybe because the drink had started warming up at that point. Was it worth the wait? I would say yes. I don't think it altered the course of my life at r anything, but it's definitely a great coffee beverage for those who like a creamy latte. read more

Paradiso is my go to spot for coffee. Brown butter latte. IT IS WORTH the HYPE. Don't let the line intimidate you because it moves VERY fast. It's a small establishment so it can be tight in there. Last week I visited Caffè Paradiso. I don't usually drink coffee, but I had to try this spot because my friend really wanted to visit. I ordered the Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte, which was actually really good. At first sip, I didn't enjoy the aftertaste, but after a couple of sips I got used to the salty flavor and ended up enjoying the coffee. I didn't go inside since my order was given outside, but I believe they do have seating available. The ambiance seemed really nice and cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere even from what I could see. Saw so many reviews on Instagram I decided I needed to try. Salted brown butter oat latte was so yummy. As someone who's ideal latte is not too milky and can still taste espresso (go to is the iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso from Starbucks) and usually always doing half sweet at other places, adding a shot, etc. the flavor of the latte was so good I didn't care that it was on the sweeter side for me. I want to go back for another! Line on a Tuesday was about 5 people long. It was a pretty day so it was honestly fun standing in line with my card waiting. Hardly no inside space. Very very small establishment but everyone was very sweet, it's adorable inside and they make some damn good drinks. Don't expect to sit down, I got lucky and sat at one of the two stools and was able to watch how they operate for an hour or so. They do everything with precision and care. There's a big line after 9:30am, but they whip out the drinks pretty fast. I saw that man rest for 2 min one time in an hour or two. I ordered the salted brown butter latte on tap with panna on top (crème), a strawberry matcha and banana bread. That was one of the best banana bread I have had in awhile and the drinks were creamy and delicious. Deff stop by if you are in New York, this place is a MUST! read more

We walked from Midtown to get here during our time in New York, waited about 30 minutes in line, and it was 100% worth it. I loved it so much I ordered two. No regrets. I kept seeing this coffee spot all over TikTok, so I had to check it out! Their popular Salted Brown Butter Oat Latte sounded amazing and it was good, but a little too sweet for my taste. Loved the concept though. The barista was pouring it from a beer tap, which was super cool to watch. The interior itself is antique, quaint, and there's minimal (but some!) seating for you to enjoy your tea at. One of my favorite parts of this shop is that their tea menu is all around the shop, right on their walls. So, you walk around the shop, look at the different teas (organized by type, caffinated/non-caffinated), smell them, and read the labels. I had a lot of fun doing this! I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
