I really liked it the first time I had it! But I did wait in a 45 minute line in the heat for this drink so I was hesitant to say it was worth it. I came again a few days later on a weekday and didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes! But that day, it was a bit too salty (I was getting really big salt chunks in every sip). Definitely worth trying but see if you can avoid the long line! If you do decide to wait it out, it does move pretty quick. Also I didn't love their other cafe drinks so stick to the salted brown butter oat latte! read more

I was so ready to hate on caffe paradiso - complain about the long lines and talk about how it is overhyped. But it isn't. And I'm already planning my next visit. The line was around the block at 10 am on a Saturday morning. But moved very quickly. We were at the counter in less than 20 mins. We got (obviously!) the trending salted brown butter latte and a seasonal hot beverage. Both were excellent! The best part is the small park right across the street where we carried our coffee and croissants to and enjoyed a little picnic in the sun! I'll be back! read more

Yeah, I was one of the victims that came across social media videos (on IG, not Tiktok) about their popular Salted Brown Butter and Oat Latte on tap. I was prepared for the long line but coming on a Wednesday afternoon helps as there were only about 4-5 people ahead of us. Like most places in NY, there's not many seating here. I think I saw less than five high top seats by the barista island tabletop and they were all occupied. So I ordered the latte on tap while my friend ordered an iced Bergamot Honey Latte. Although the iced Salted Brown Butter and Oat Latte was good, it was personally not for me due to how sweet it is. While my friend preferred my drink, I liked hers better due to it simply being less sweet. Not faulting the drink itself, just not my personal liking. read more

Worth the hype and fully warranted to be going viral now. The Salted Butter Oatmilk Latte is the best latte I have ever had. I inhaled it. In fact, we went back in line just to get another cup. The line moves fast and I like the idea of a paper card to show you paid once it is your turn to grab your drink. The inside is stunning, love the black and white picture on the wall of a girl being pursued by three men. Their milk options are pistachio milk, oat and panna...I mean say less. What an experience. Highly recommend. It reminded me of La Colombe's draft latte, except this is so much better. read more

We went on a Saturday afternoon so there was obviously a line, but it wasn't too bad: maybe about 20-25 minutes. Once you get to a certain point in the line, an employee will ask you what you want to order, and the line diverges between people getting the Salted Brown Butter and Oat latte on draft (us) and literally anything else. After you pay, the latte people get a little chip to exchange at the (adorable) draft latte cart. The latte itself is very good, deftly navigating the thin line between perfectly sweet and too sweet. It's creamy and a little buttery, but I didn't notice too much salt until the end, maybe because the drink had started warming up at that point. Was it worth the wait? I would say yes. I don't think it altered the course of my life at r anything, but it's definitely a great coffee beverage for those who like a creamy latte. read more

This has been all over my social media suggested in forever and ofc, I had to try it once I had a chance to go to NYC. It's true the lines are long especially during the weekend BUT it moves quickly especially when you're with your friends! Its pretty pricey for coffee. I think I paid around $8 for a cup. There's minimal seating available if I remember correctly but there is a small park in front if you would like to sit down. The coffee was delicious, the coffee on tap idea is genius. I mean who doesn't love coffee on tap? The service was so-so. I felt like I was being rushed with my order! read more

We stopped by Caffe Paradiso to try their viral salted caramel oat milk drink and it was absolutely worth it. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly. The wait was totally worth it. I was in the mood for something hot, and the staff recommended their Autumn Spiced Latte as the warm version of the viral salted caramel drink. It definitely hit the spot... cozy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. It's definitely a grab and go spot versus a sit down coffee shop. They only had two seats which were taken when we went, but we wouldn't have sat in there anyway, because it was crowded. Also, there will almost always be a line, but it moves by quickly since most people are getting the drink on tap - which I highly recommend! It's the perfect amount of sweet and salty and so easy to drink!! As in.. slow down and don't gulp it down too quickly. It is caffeine after all! Very very small establishment but everyone was very sweet, it's adorable inside and they make some damn good drinks. Don't expect to sit down, I got lucky and sat at one of the two stools and was able to watch how they operate for an hour or so. They do everything with precision and care. There's a big line after 9:30am, but they whip out the drinks pretty fast. I saw that man rest for 2 min one time in an hour or two. I ordered the salted brown butter latte on tap with panna on top (crème), a strawberry matcha and banana bread. That was one of the best banana bread I have had in awhile and the drinks were creamy and delicious. Deff stop by if you are in New York, this place is a MUST! read more

I had to come try their famous Salted Brown Butter and Oat Latte and honestly it did not disappoint. I love oat milk in my coffee so it hit the spot. I personally went on a Monday at around 10:30 AM and probably only waited like 5 minutes max. There was not really a line. I feel like the line gets long on the weekends. It does go pretty fast! The coffee was SOOOO creamy I loved it. I felt like you couldn't really taste the "coffee" it just tasted so creamy. Sweet but not overly sweet. Worth the try if you have the time! Would come again. Caffe Paradiso is that place. The salted oat milk brown butter latte was truly rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced -- hands down one of the best lattes I've ever had. We walked from Midtown to get here during our time in New York, waited about 30 minutes in line, and it was 100% worth it. I loved it so much I ordered two. No regrets. It was cute to see them dispense it from tap and I loved how smooth it was overall! The brown butter and oat milk flavors both were prominent, and didn't overpower the coffee taste. I did find it a little sweet to begin with but better after the ice started melting a little. The coffee and milk were very well mixed. Their autumn latte was tasty too, especially with the mix of cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. This one was sweeter than expected and the pistachio milk didn't really come through. Be prepared to wait, but worth the wait! I saw this place is a hot one. The wait it long and while in line, many were asking "is it worth the wait?" I can say, yes it is! I have never had coffee on tap before. It was so creamy and it was honestly so good. I didnt have to worry about how it was mixed (too much cream, too little etc) it was perfectly portioned from tap and delicious. The downfall, is I'm not from New York and now I can't stop thinking about the the Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte. So I'm stuck just dreaming about it. Another one bites the dust. TikTok influenced me to try this little shop out and no regrets. When in NY parking is not a thing. Very accessible through the subway system. Line was long due to the holiday. It was also decorated for the holiday. I waited about 20 min before i was able to place an order. I ordered a brown butter latte and a hot chocolate. I am literally not a coffee person, but Caffe Paradiso changed that for me. This was easily the most delicious coffee I've ever had - I've been dreaming about it daily since I left. Since it's viral on TikTok, the line was very long, but it moved decently fast. I waited about 20 minutes total. Because they're so popular right now, the process is very "go, go, go." You prepay for your coffee, grab it, and head out. They definitely rush you through a bit, so I didn't get to really sit and enjoy the interior, but from what I saw, the place is really pretty. Seeing the coffee on tap was a cool touch, too. The workers were surprisingly nice considering the insane amount of people they have to deal with all day. Very busy, but the line moves fast! The staff is very nice and the cafe inside is quite charming. No seating available, but there are a few standing spots inside to enjoy your drink. There's also a park right across from the street has ample seating. I got the salted brown butter oat latte. It's not too sweet, it's the perfect balance. Delish! read more

Disclaimer: if you are someone that generally gets grumpy about hyped up viral NYC spots, then skip this one! However, I love going to a viral spot and seeing what is making everyone excited! For me, it makes trying spots in NYC really fun. Caffe Paradiso went viral for their draft salted brown butter latte. I love a draft latte because the draft makes the coffee frothy and so smooth (la colombe has these as well if you want to try a draft latte without a line). I'm not sure why, but I drink a draft latte much faster than a regular, so you may finish it quickly! The salted brown butter was sweet with the slight salt that makes the flavors addicting. For the people saying "it's not salty", it's because the flavor story is similar to eating salted caramel where it is still very sweet. There was a line out the door and down the sidewalk when I got there, we waited about 15-20 mins to get inside. I felt the line moved decently fast since they are quickly getting orders out. Inside, the place is decorated more like an upscale bar than a cafe, with beautiful touches for the holidays. The menu also features some seasonal items, like a hot chocolate with panna that was rich and I really enjoyed. We also ordered a strawberry matcha, which honestly I would not recommend. While the matcha was smooth and good quality, the strawberry syrup wasn't my favorite. Overall, it was a fun experience and they do have a great draft latte and hot chocolate. Visited on a Tuesday morning, because when i first stopped by before work last Friday there was a line outside! I didn't know what to expect when I heard about this place but just that they had a latte on tap! The concept seemed so insane yet hilarious i had to stop and try it. Unfortunately this place is SUPER close to my job which makes it hard for me to not come back. LOL Coffee was super tasty yet well balanced! We all ordered the salted brown butter and oat iced coffee on draft, and we all loved it - the flavor was delicious as well as the consistency - was great. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
