I saw this place on Facebook when one of my friend shared their soft opening event. I didn't want to visit here until I read some reviews because I live in Keller which is about 30-40 minutes away from this place and I didn't want to drive that far without getting a general idea. I've seen promising reviews complementing the place. However, one of my friends tried it and said the milk tea tasted like cereal, I didn't want to believe her and insisted on trying this place anyways. When I first walked into the place, the interior theme is well decorated with a rustic design theme. The employees had matching black long sleeve outfits which I thought was pretty awesome, kudos to that. Before ordering, I told the guy that was taking my order that my friend had tried this place before and she wasn't impressed by it. She was the one that told me that the milk tea tasted like cereal, but I wanted to taste it for my own judgement. I asked him what can he do for me if I don't like it, he said that he can't help me and I would have to buy another one ... So you mean I would just have to keep wasting my money ordering drinks until I find something I like? At Fruitealicious, the employees make you another drink if you don't the one you ordered, that way you can try different things. It would be nice if they implemented something like this, since I tried two of their drinks and I didn't like either of them. I don't mean like giving the same person two or three free drinks because they don't like what they ordered. I'm sure that would be taken advantage of, but at least one drink especially when you're a new business. It is more likely for me to come back to a place that offers a safety net like that because if I get a drink that is substandard, why would I come back to this place to waste more money on another thing that might also be lacking? The owner replied to me saying that they do offer samples of their milk tea bases, which is great but the employees need to be notify of that. I wished the guy that I asked would have told me that they had samples when I asked him what he could do for me if I didn't like it. If they did, then the review would have been more positive. On to the first drink I ordered, black milk tea with no toppings. Upon taking the first sip, I tasted strong black tea followed by the flavor of Apple Jack cereal ... second sip ... same thing. I shouldn't be getting that sort of flavor at all, especially in black tea. I haven't been able to find any decent black milk tea around here, unless I go to Bobaland in Plano. I fell in love with Boba Guys milk tea (especially the coffee one) when I was in San Francisco, so I like to order 2 big bags of Boba Guys Blend No.1 from Tea People delivered to me every 3 months and then Blue Bottle Coffee delivered to me monthly so that I can make my coffee milk tea. If I don't like waiting for my tea leaves, then I go buy them at Tea To Go in Downtown Fort Worth or Colleyville and make my own tea at home. Back on topic, if their milk tea is going to taste like that, I think they should go toward cereal shakes similar to what Boba Tea Lounge in CA offer. So obviously I did not like my black milk tea, I wanted to try another drink rather than the milk tea I ordered because I didn't want to give them an unfair rating on just one drink. I went back up to the register and told the guy that I didn't like the drink and he recommended the green thai tea with brown boba. The green thai tea was a bit powdery, I liked their brown boba because of it being sweeter and more of a jello consistency than regular boba. Overall, I wouldn't come back for a while but I will be keeping an eye on their reviews to see if the place would improve over time. read more

I love jasmine milk tea with mango jellies, (though many think it to be weird) and the possibility to change the sweetness in the drink. Good service, and easily replaced my drink when they mixed the jellies up. read more

I tried the taro smoothy and the matchy green tea. Best smoothy I have ever tried and I worked at a boba tea shop for a year lol. I can tell they use good quality powder for the matcha. I will comeback and tried others flavors with the flan and their snacks next time. Tbh skip the Bethany around there and go straight to this place. Find this amazing Milk tea spot! I personally don't like milk tea from other places because its too heavy. But this place makes it so light & fresh. You can adjust the sweet level when you order. I don't like the too sweet drink either, but their 100% sweetness just tastes perfectly. It's about 75% sweetness compare to Kungfu tea, Gong Cha or Sweet Hut (these are other chain Bubble Tea shops). The flavor here is unique! The Genmaicha, Buckwheat & Koyuji (I know I misspell this flavor) are yummy & other places don't have. Of course Jasmine green tea is yummy, but other places might have this flavor. You should try their Agar Bubbles, very tasty, much better than tapioca bubbles & different from jelly (my all time favorite is lychee jelly). The shop is such a cute spot to chat & hang out. I have not tried other desserts here, I'll keep you updated. You should give this place a try, they definitely use fresh ingredients & not powder ingredients like other places. Use to be a fan of this place when it first open but nowadays the drinks just aren't the same anymore. I still come here every once in a while when i feel like drinking their thai teas. I usually get the green or red thai tea, but today i order the red thai tea and realize that there was so many tea leaves pieces in the drink. Usually the drink wouldn't have any tea leaves in it so when i was drinking the tea i could really taste all the tea leaves pieces. I went to complain to the front cashier girl but she told me that she cant do anything about it and that the drink was suppose to be like that. But i have order this many times before and never had this problem. She didn't even tried to offer another drink or to remake it like what all the boba shops would have offer me in this situation. Overall disappointed because wasted money on a drink that i end up taking a sip and throwing away. read more

I wanted to try a new boba place i'm not familiar with in the arlington area and instantly regretted it. Even though this place is definitely not for me, I give this place a 2 star rating because the interior design was aesthetically pleasing but that's only that. The drinks are way overpriced and the management is absolutely terrible!! I waited about 10 mins for my drink and I was one of the only two people inside the store. I ordered the matcha milk tea with boba and the matcha tasted very powdery and fake... The boba had no flavor, very hard to chew, and honestly tasted old (which I wouldn't be surprised if it was left out for a whole week). Wasted 10 mins of my time just to receive a funky drink. I'm a boba tea fanatic, so finding good boba is not hard to find. I've heard of this place from several acquaintances and peers and decided to give it a try today. When you enter it looks beautiful, it has that Asian culture feel with a cherry blossom tree and traditional Asian seating. Customer service was fine, but the teas were a little less than average. I had a taro tea smoothie with boba and it was more room temperature than a smoothie should be. Though this place was very far from where I lived, I thought I'd give it a try just because I feel like Arlington needs more variety in terms of boba places. I got the lychee oolong tea, black milk tea and avocado shake. The avocado shake was very good, comparable to every other good avocado shake in other places. HTe milk tea was good as well, it had a strong tea flavor that left a nice aftertaste. The lychee oolong tea had a very strong herbal flavor. It was.. interesting, not my favorite but it's not bad. First and last time coming to this place. Worst experience. First time coming and the girl that was taking our order was like very helpful. Then when we wanted a strawberry smoothie she was like not in season but she was able to make a yogurt strawberry mango smoothie. Really. Then ordered 2 hazelnut mocha WITH boba and didn't get the boba. Also got a flan to make my order over $20 the girl said to get a free hat. Flan looked disgusting. Why would you put ice cubes with tea or coffee on top of the flan. All in all if I could give it a zero I would. The place was clean I will give it that but nope never again. Okay I have to start out with the fact that the decor was just amazing. The tree was just gorgeous and the lights, really added to the aura of the place. The food was delicious as well as the milk tea, and the cashiers were so sweet, I really suggest this place, if you want to relax for a while. First time having bubble tea and I love it! Got the Tiramisu Black Milk Tea with black boba. The place is small but set up so well and has the cutest interior! Staff was nice and helped me pick what to get since I hadn't had bubble tea before. The wait was a little long (about 7 min) for one drink and there was only one other customer in the store that already had their items but it just gave me more time to enjoy all of the cute details in the place. Drinks are really good! I recommend the iced coconut coffee, it's super good! The decorations are super cool and neat. One thing that bothered me was the space, it was quite small, but if your not there for a long time then it's not that big of a deal. This is such a cute place! The benches are a little awkward to sit in though. Loved the light bulb tea. They only have a select flavors though that come in the light bulb. You do get to keep the container though. They have a tiramisu tea which is pretty good. I had never tried that flavor before. read more

I came here with some friends after work. They decorated it really cute and they have some cool floor seating. The music was super loud so it was difficult to try and hold a conversation without raising our voices. The worker was super nice and gave us a good explanation of what they offered. You can chose from a small or large size typical plastic cups. You can also get the lightbulb milk tea or they also have a hot pot size (small and large) that is only available for milk tea. Also, if you choose the disposable cups vs having the glass containers it said they would charge 45 cents for a to go fee. We ordered a light bulb milk tea, mint green tea and mango green tea. It took forever for our drinks to come out. Typical boba shops can have your drink prepared within 5 minutes. I feel like it took 10 minutes for our 3 simple drinks to come out. My drink had a lot of ice so I feel like my drink filled half way and then ice made it go to the top. The tea didn't really taste that good. They also topped my drink with mango but it did not taste good. We figured it was previously frozen bagged mango. I don't really understand why this place has soo many 5 star reviews.
