New boba spot in Lake Worth! It's a small chain with locations in Arlington, Fort Worth, and Carrollton. I happen to spot it while having lunch next door at Panda Buffet. 1102 is located in the spot that used to be The Core Nutrition. I've been in twice, once before their grand opening (December) and once just yesterday. As for the drinks, they have a nice selection of coffees, teas, and even French & Italian sodas. There are several add-ins (boba, jelly, popping bubbles) to choose from to customize your drinks. They also offer a few desserts as wellThe interior is aesthetically pleasing and invites you to hang out and enjoy your drink. Overall I find their drinks very sweet so 50% sweetness is a must for me. Even then, I still find it on the sweeter side. I also feel their prices are on the high side. My large iced peach jasmine tea with boba was $9 this time. I'm happy that there's a boba spot near work, but it won't be enjoyed as a regular treat for me at that price. read more

I was the only customer of the day and they were out of most supplies, made me order what I wanted on there register since she did not know what she was doing. The only employee looked brand new and took 15 minutes to make 2 iced coffees, while taking her time reading through the "how to cheat sheet" several times to make sure she had the coffee,water,ice ratio correct. Went into the back several times while making the drinks to retreated absolutely nothing. Not a place I would recommend if you're in a rush. Pricing is horrible compared to Starbucks for what you get. read more

When they say they are open till 10:00 they really mean 9:40. Given it was 9:50, but don't post that you are open till 10:00, with open sign still flashing and employees obviously waiting for 10:00 to lock up. Beyond irritated. read more

The tea is pretty good, There was a nice guy employee who helped me out after their app gave me some complications. I didn't catch his name but he was very friendly and understanding! I would be careful with their app as it doesn't seem fully developed yet and it took my money for app purchases but never gave me my money to use. read more

Love the vibe of this place. It's new so lots of folks in training, be prepared to wait a little. I like the self service kiosk - I knew exactly what I was ordering thanks to the pictures and descriptions. The boba itself is absolutely top notch. Our teas were both delicious (Peach Oolong Milk, Lavender Black Milk). We will definitely be back. The sitting tea area was a nice touch. My only hope would be they get more quality signs than the paper, it would just look a little nicer :) read more

First off, I've been coming to 1102 for 4 years now. It was the first boba shop I had ever tried when I moved to the states and for the longest time remained my top favorite. However, things have changed. The staffing of young high school/college kids have provided a very unwelcoming atmosphere. Everyone looks like they don't want to talk to you and are bothered when you ring the bell to ask them questions. They just overall aren't friendly, whatsoever. To continue, prices have literally skyrocketed, getting boba here is so much more expensive than getting coffee elsewhere. It's crazy that a small is more than 8 dollars. It literally shocked me. That's how much a large used to cost. Lastly, the iPad ordering is so inconvenient because it isn't helping build relationships with guests. Making the experience more memorable, etc. I loved talking to the workers there and hearing what they recommended. I personally have met the owner and know he's a great guy and really enjoys giving customers a great drink. I think that there are just things that need to be improved to how they used to be. This may very well be the worst place to get boba within the fort worth area. When done right, it's very good and a lot of the drinks are fun and creative! But only when they do it right. Every time I go in there, I'm met with rude workers and a gross work environment. They don't say hello or use any sort of customer service knowledge. I get a "what do you want" in the rudest tone possible, and then they will TELL ME to sit down and that I'm gonna have to wait. I don't mind waiting, of course, I'm a nice person. But I don't like being spoken to like a dog!! Plus, their boba is pretty much always undercooked or expired. They don't change anything out ever. It's disgusting. They sit there and gossip on their phones even when a customer is waiting to be helped, and when you try to get their attention, they tell you that you are being rude. I don't think they understand that they are working???? At a customer service job??? It's just awful all around, and I do not recommend you go here. This place should be shut down. Customer service was terrible, the 4 ladies did not help and me and my boyfriend had to make out orders on a iPad. To add on when we had a question on if there where any other milk options, they laughed at us and said the other options would make the drink taste bad.Won't come back, sucks cause it's the closest boba place to me ! read more
