Pile of fries did not make up for a lukewarm pulled pork sandwich.

Well, I generally like this place but last weekend again it was disappointing. Fried calamari were lukewarm and not crispy at all. Disaster. Naan Fish Taco: A fried fish stick in a lukewarm piece of naan, it could not have been more boring. Garden salad was good.

The interior is very small so if you are a group, I recommend sending a designated person to order. We went standard Lobster Rolls with butter on the side. There was a little confusion about line order but they were very apologetic. There are very limited chairs in the lot to eat at and I think maybe 1 picnic table? We decided to bring it home to eat. The result was a slightly less than warm roll, but the FLAVAH! Delicious and the chips were good too. Anything Lobster is a bit of a splurge but very worth it!

Everything there is fresh - boat to table! Cooking and prepping on all on site! We were told the lobsters were cooked at 3am this morning! That's fresh. We had our lobster rolls with butter but they also offer with mayo. The buns were nicely toasted setved with homade chips! The lobster meat, just stop there, tail, claws, all parts, and so much of it! Well worth every dollar we paid! There were lobsters in the tank and when one of the staff members pulled out one for photos ops! It was so fun! Very nice and friendly staff. It shows they are family (two families) owned and runned! Our meals came out faster than expected and we're brought out to our chairs. They have a good selection of wines and beers! Great place for lunch or picking up items for dinner at home! If you are any where near Marblehead, make sure yo stop of for lobster rolls at The Little Harbor Lobster Company.

You order at the register and then find a seat at one of their many tables that are available. The staff are really friendly and even offered up their own chairs since we needed an extra seat at a booth. The food comes out fairly quickly. The portions are really good for sharing with a group. The fried clams were a little bit on the chewy side, but had good flavor. The steamed clams were fairly sandy even after being rinsed. It was still a good experience and there was plenty of food to share.

Even though it's super casual. There's no table service. You order food (only) at the register. Drinks are ordered at a separate counter. And no, you cannot even ask to pay for a bottle of water at the food register. Seating is first come, first serve. I've never once had an issue getting a table while waiting for the food. For the most part, their system seems to work. Everyone gets their drinks and table by the time the food is ready. We lost track of time and got here later than we wanted to on a Sunday night. Didn't realize they closed at 8pm (I believe they extend their hours for the summer starting around Memorial Day). We got there 10 minutes before closing and the staff was amazing the entire time. Nobody made us feel like we had to leave. There was no awkward switching of the lights like some places do at closing to signal they wanted us out. Thanks for keeping it classy Woodmans!

Enjoyed the beautiful day, plenty of outdoor seating and seeing all the young baseball players and their families enjoying a meal! Drinks are inside at the bar, bathrooms could be cleaner haha. The food ran about $80 after lobster roll basket, clam chowder cup and two bottled drinks. Good amount of lobster, and picturesque for the amount on the plate. There was however no seasoning or flavor but some folks probably like the plain lobster itself. There wasn't much hot butter on our order, least none that we could really detect. Cooked well but super bland. The clam chowder was extremely watery and bland. Need like 3 packets of pepper and a packet of salt.. Everything else about the space, the view, the seating was great on a beautiful New England day! Staff taking your order at window was nice, pickup your food via buzzer at the further window!

I really appreciated the amount of fresh meat packed into the toasted brioche bun. However, the seasoning was a little too heavy on the mayonnaise, which masked the natural sweetness of the lobster. The side of French fries arrived piping hot and perfectly crispy. It is a decent option if you are craving seafood, though it needs minor tweaks. Overall, it was a perfectly average meal that left me satisfied but not entirely blown away. The Fried Clams which were a mixed of textures. Some of the clams were beautifully sweet and tender, while others were noticeably overcooked and chewy. The batter had a great crunch, but it lacked the necessary seasoning to make the dish pop. I also ordered a side of onion rings that were greasy, though they still had a decent flavor. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful for a casual dinner. I might return eventually, but I am not in a rush. The shrimp looked fantastic when it arrived at our table with a beautiful golden-brown exterior. Unfortunately, the shrimp themselves were a bit rubbery and lacked that fresh, snappy bite you expect at a seafood joint. The French fries were standard, nothing spectacular, but they served their purpose as a side. It was a perfectly mediocre dining experience that did not justify the slightly high price tag. Despite the okay service, I will probably look for a different spot next time. If you want a cushy 11-to -7 this isn't it. This gig is seasonal, which means you have a small window to make your money and bust your tail.

**Classic local watering hole with solid food and atmosphere**…read more The Chote Pub is definitely a neighborhood spot through and through. You can tell the regulars get priority attention from the bartenders, but we eventually got taken care of too - just be prepared to be patient if it's busy and you're a new face. The food was good with very generous portions that definitely give you your money's worth. Drinks were well-made and hit the spot. We loved the setup for watching football - great views of the games from multiple angles around the bar. **Important heads-up: This is a CASH ONLY establishment.** Make sure you stop at an ATM before you arrive, or you'll be making a quick exit to find one. The vibe here is very much old-school local pub - if that's your scene, you'll love it. If you're looking for something more polished or trendy, this might not be your spot. We enjoyed the unpretentious atmosphere and will likely be back, but it's definitely worth knowing what you're walking into first. Bottom line: Come for honest pub fare, generous portions, cold drinks, and a genuine local experience. Just bring cash!
