    Lobster roll
    Lisa F.

This was a great place for dinner! Great location, newly opened with the appropriate nautical theme. Looking to get my annual lobster roll, I was impressed with theirs! I got mine hot with butter and the portion was nice! Coleslaw and fries came with it. Hubs had the Sicilian haddock-- cooked perfect, nice blend of flavors. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were also incredibly patient dealing with the table of drunk ladies in our section. We will definitely return next summer!

Solid restaurant on the water! There's a cute outdoor patio behind the restaurant (it wasn't too buggy, had good views of boats). The interior had good seating options too - a big bar, high tops, booths, etc. Decor felt updated and clean. Food - good portions for everything! Highlights included steamers (a special on the menu, counted 40 of them!), onion rings, and spicy shrimp (love the sauce, not too spicy either!). Servers were friendly. We didn't have to wait to be seated which was a plus! Parking can be tough. Their lot was full, so we had to park near a field as recommended on the restaurant website - it was about a 5 minute walk down a busy road and the parking signage wasn't the clearest on what was residential vs public parking, which was frustrating.

    Apple juices by the water

Came here after Apple picking and had a lovely lunch. Good sized menu, lots of options, I went with the smash burger and my husband got the fisherman's platter. Portions are HUGE, you will leave with leftovers. Drinks are also quite strong so if you're a lightweight like me beware. My kids loved their food as well, I tried some bites and their food was excellent. Restaurant has lovely views, its own parking lot as well. Bathrooms very clean and I loved the decor. Our server was super friendly and very sweet to our two little boys which is always a plus. A great lunch stop!

We went to the Shipyard Tavern for the first time for our anniversary lunch. Knowing the greatness of each of the local establishments owned by Corey Matthew's, we knew it would be amazing. It did not disappoint . We had the stuffed clams (best i have EVER had), a bucket of mussels and each had a clam chowder. Totally satisfied without overstuffing ourselves. We will be back for more!!!! Liz and Jack Meere

Reheated frozen Sysco food. Did not taste fresh. Sugary drinks. Avoid at all costs. Service is really slow.

Our stools were below the hand carved wooden pig-The Farm's logo and I could see the cake of dust on its derrière! The light fixtures/fans above us were also in need of cleaning. Despite this, the food was good as well as the margarita. We started with the Buffalo tenders which were a tad over fried and I wish it came with celery and carrot sticks. The bleu cheese dressing it came with was very good with hearty chunks of bleu cheese. Then my husband had the steak tips with mashed potatoes and a medley of fresh vegetables (summer squash, zucchini, Bermuda onion). He thought he tasted the butane from the grill on the tips. I had the baked fish tacos and was happy there were three and each taco was filled. Overall, we had a nice evening at The Farm.

I approached someone who I was hoping is a manager/staff and asked if we can sit at an open table. He gave a confused face and then a large, awkward gesture without saying a word spreading his arms across the table. We were all confused to which he then confirmed we can sit there. He then took our orders and pretended not to know items on the menu when we asked about them only to later allow us to order it. He kept repeating this style of awkward jokes that made some at the table feel unwelcome. He later stated he is the owner when apologizing for not having the ingredients for some menu items. We proceeded to wait over 60 minutes for our first app (a pretzel) followed by another 15 minutes between each of the next two apps. We ordered 3 items and it took a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes to get just 3 small dishes. At no point did he apologize for the long wait or update on us in how long we would have to wait. The food itself tasted pretty good but a little too pricey. There were a few other tables around us where patrons were being quite agitated. Disappointing and I see lots of room for improvement but lots of potential as well. The actual restaurant itself is very nice

We were helped immediately by the very attentive waitress who took our drink order right away, which exemplified the warm and friendly ambiance. For an appetizer we split the Burrata salad which was nothing short of sumptuous - fresh mozzarella, peach puree, basil, and mixed greens finished with olive oil and a savory balsamic vinaigrette glaze. Delicious. On to the entrees. My wife ordered the surf and turf. While we are unclear as to the exact cut of beef, no explanation was necessary - juicy, tender and seasoned and cooked to perfection. The surf side was grilled shrimp, seasoned to compliment the turf side and equally delectable. The surf and turf were finished with garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and carrots, and garnished with onion strings. Just amazing. My entre was the miso salmon with seasoned jasmine rice along with the same grilled asparagus and carrots. The salmon was unique - the outside was perfectly seasoned with miso, and, due to some culinary magic the outer surface was an extremely thin crunchy layer which gave way to a medium rare temperature cooked to perfection, and exactly as ordered.Prepared on the premises, the deserts were on a par with the entrees and salad. We ordered a to-die-for crème brulee and a flourless chocolate cake topped with vanilla gelato. This was a great dining experience, and we will be back. BTW - we were so excited to get our food that we forgot to take pictures before we dug in!
