Shoutout to Jason and Wen for fixing my iPhone 6+!! 09/06/16: Came back from Vegas with a water damaged phone. I called Apple to inquired how much was for the repair, they quoted me ~$320. That's a lot of money for fixing a phone, might as well wait for the iPhone 7+ to come out. Glad my dad knows about this place and recommended me to come here. When I walked in the store, I was greeted by Jason. He was very nice, went over the non-guarantee rule with me. Which I totally understand. He told me my phone has 33% revival rate since it was touched by chlorine water. A technician will open up the phone to examine what other damages there are. He quoted me $25 for the examination and will take about half an hour or so. Half an hour later, I received a call from the technician, his name was Wen. He went over the damages with me and explained which parts need to be fixed. Sadly my battery blew up and there was also a watermark on my LCD screen which needs to be replaced. An hour later, I came back to the store found out my phone was fixed!! Since I haven't backup my datas in awhile, I was afraid everything will get wiped out. Wen was able to fixed my phone without deleting any of my datas. I was soooo happy. Words can't described. The only downfall was I cannot use my TouchID feature anymore... Wen explained the reason to me why but I don't remembered. That's fine, I can live without the TouchID. The total repair was $170, which isn't bad compared to $300+. They were kind enough to give me a new tempered glass also. Thank you Wen and Jason for being so nice and helpful! BEWARE THIS SHOP. I went to this shop to replace the broken screen of my LG G2 smartphone. They replaced it for $120, and it looked good. I came home and fit the phone in its original case. But with the new screen put in place by this shop, my phone did not fit in its original case. I pressured several times (just normal pressure, not so heavy) to fit the phone in the case to no avail. I brought the phone to the shop and demonstrated that it didn't fit. The serviceman there tried and he also found it didn't fit. Now the real problem starts. The serviceman tried several times to fit the phone in the case. Then I found, on the NEW screen, a crack and several lines due to the crack. Surprised by the crack and lines, I asked what they were. The serviceman just assumed , and told me that I did it because I pressured too hard at home. But I didn't see any crack on the new screen at home. I saw the crack only after he tried to fit the phone in the case several times at the shop. I asked either refund or replacing the cracked new screen. But the shop refused. All this happened within one hour after I picked up my phone from the shop. This whole process was really annoying. 1) The new screen didn't allow the phone to sit nicely in the case, so I had to drive my car back to the shop. 2) With just normal pressure, the screen cracked again. Neither the serviceman nor I exerted excessive pressure on the phone. 3) The serviceman insisted that I made the crack but no evidence to prove his argument. He just didn't want to be responsible for this. 4) The shop refused to refund; they didn't want to replace the cracked new screen with a good one, saying that I am the one who made the physical damage. 5) They kept saying that the screen manufacturer wouldn't replace the cracked screen. They were afraid of the manufacturer, and thus sacrificing consumers. I told the serviceman that I will describe this whole process on Yelp. The serviceman's response was jaw-dropping: "Please do. We have only two negative comments so far." If I interpret, this is what he has in mind: "Do whatever you want to do. It wouldn't damage our business because we are well reviewed with only two negative comments on Yelp." From his comment, it is clear that all they care about is money. I told them I would file a complaint to FTC. With this, the shop changed their attitude and suggested that they would compensate me $40, which is the labor cost. I refused and will file a complaint to FTC. Don't use this shop. Around Alhambra, Los Angeles, and Pasadena, there are so many competitive cellphone repair shops. I must say I had one of the best service here out of all the phone accessories stores I've been to. The boy who helped my father and I replace our iPhone screen protector was very patient and nice. He informed us that there are three types of screen protectors: glass ($25), matte or clear ($8). My dad and I chose the matte since glass are mainly for people who drop their phones a lot. I was really impressed with how patient the boy was when he tried to get rid of all bubbles on the screen, that's a big plus right there. Not only that but he gave us a discount! Based off my experience with Taylor and 168, I would recommend them to all my friends and anyone with phone repair needs. I was extremely happy with the service and quality of work. I walked in with a severely shattered screen and left with a phone that was almost like new. So I needed to replace my iPhone 6+ screen as the concrete floor won 1-0. FYI, in a game of chicken against the floor, floor wins 99% of the time. It took about 30 minutes for my screen to be replaced. I tested it out for about 15 minutes and found that when I was texting, the screen would scroll up to the top and randomly text. I immediately pointed it out and Taylor was quick to explain why that was happening and went right to work replacing the new but defective screen with a newer non-defective one. On top of that, I was given a screen protector for my troubles which was unnecessary and unexpected but highly appreciated. I believe that Taylor explaining the issue and fixing it without hesitation was important to share and went along way with me and why rate this place so highly. I appreciated that Taylor did not try to upsell me on a higher quality screen and recommended the aftermarket one that was much cheaper since she knew I was likely upgrading to a newer model of the iPhone as soon as it was available. As I'm writing this review from my phone, I can't even tell that I'm typing away on an aftermarket screen and not my stock one. read more

I gave them a call before i actually came in and i was qouted $60 because i said i had an iphone 5 but once i got there Dennis helped me and had told me i had a iphone5s so there was a price difference which came out to $80 for fixing/ replacing my cracked screen he was actually nice enough to give it to me for $75 since i did call in first i came in around 4:30pm i was told to come back at 6:30pm to pick it up so that wasnt to bad! When Dennis was checking my phone the other Employee named Jason actually told me about there tempure case so i wouldnt break my screen again he offered me it for $15 when normal price is $25 my friend also came along with me and got the tempure case as well ! When i came back to pick up my phone they were very nice and explained everything into details and i also brought my boyfriends phone to add the tempure case as well!
