They have a variety of fries as well, so I tried their waffle fries. They also have a smoke and grill menu as well. Upon entering the restaurant the table have different board games as table toppings. So you can play checkers, backgammon, etc while you wait on your order. The photos and menu variety drew me in to 18 Wayz and I must say, I was impressed. The place used to be Boss Man BBQ and it looks like a whole new place. Very spacious, clean and professional looking. The owner is very nice and helpful, he is proud of his brand and his flavors! Ok so for the food.... I rate it a 9 on flavor but a 6 on size. The Caribbean jerk seasoning was better than most I've tried in the city (one day our beloved city will get "jerk" right...sigh), and the Honey Garlic was just that: sweet and garlicky. The wings were just small. Especially the honey garlic wings. I've been to too many wing places that serve up good size wings to start buying small ones. I've tried SO many times to place a call in order (and yes, I'm willing to pay over the phone) and every single time I either get hung up on, left on hold for 20+ minutes or greeted with the disconnected tone. This will be my 8th time trying to call in and my 8th time with nothing from 18 ways. I've tried to call in to place orders for 200+ wings to be catered. I have had 4 if the 18 sauces on cut wings so far. They have all been excellent. The wings have a slight fried crunch which I like. I really like the wing presentation with sliced carrots and celery. We had take out and the customer service is above 5 stars. The post on YELP indicates that the restaurant stayed open later than it actually does, so when we arrived they were closed. However, instead of turning us away, the cashier took our order, did not rush us and also made some recommendations. We had the spicy chili and 8 sause with lemon pepper on the wings. They were excellent, I particularly enjoy how they cut up the celery in the sauce that you have chosen instead of just put it on top like most places do. We also had a hamburger and fries, the hamburger was on a Texas toast, which we never had before and the condiments were on the side which was excellent if you do not want all of the condiments on your burger. The people working there were super patient hooking me up with the exact right order for me--Honey Garlic and Ooowee. I felt like I was in wing heaven. I recently found out about this place and decided to give it a shot. I ordered 15 hot wings and 15 One-Eight wings. The hot wings were pretty good, but nothing that blew me away. The one-right wings were the bomb. I just asked the woman taking my order if they had any best sellers and she recommended these. I was blown away by them. I had no idea what to expect, but they were great. They were good enough to make me want to come back and try some more of their specialty flavors.
