    Ticket comes in à boom

Did a wine passport tasting of Sicily, great spread of charcuterie to pair it with. The gentleman was knowledgeable about the region & all background of the various wineries. I been to Sicily so it was nice ti follow the tasting via the map still. The harvest salad barely had any beets on it. The cucumber/tomatoes salad was summer fresh produce. Ordered a bottle that I liked from tasting but have to wait for 2 weeks to get it, which was disappointing. The ticket get delivered in various books, which was nice surprise

We had a great experience at Lewis and Elm tonight. The small plates and cheese board were delightful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our server was incredibly attentive and even walked us through the pecorino cheese board with pepper jelly and the best artisanal mustard I've ever tasted, explaining the pairings in a way that made the experience feel special (he even remembered us from our last visit). It was a great time to visit, as the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with local musicians playing softly in the corner while we enjoyed the orange blend wine and a crisp pilsner from locally owned Oden Brewery. The combination of food, music, and hospitality made the evening feel relaxed, intimate, and distinctly local.

Nice and cozy! Loved this wine bar in downtown Greensboro. Great variety of wines by the glass and bottle. Light tapas style food. Nice desserts . Loved the bar area and the other seating, we took a lovely spot by the window. Service was good and we went with three very different wines by the glass! I took one off the flight menu a nice bold Toscana. My friends really enjoyed the Malbec and Pinot noir. We had the chocolate mousse cake which was rich, and very delicious. Many different levels in this dessert. Very much chocolate lovers dream! They also sell a lot of their wines and had a good deal going when we went if $10 any bottle. I loved the chill classy vibe here. Definitely a nice place to go for a quiet drink. Paid Parking lot in the back .

I pretty much live for wine bars, so this place hit the spot! Stopped by after dinner nearby and enjoyed a flight of 3 Greek wines (red, white, rose). Great vibes here- dark, cozy, welcoming- and friendly service even though we arrived just a half hour before closing, didn't feel rushed at all. And I got to tinker on their piano for a bit at the end. Really pleasant end to the evening and I will definitely be back. I would definitely join their wine club if I lived in the area!

I was excited to finally try out this trendy wine bar after waiting far too long. My Yelp besties, my boyfriend, and I decided to go for a double date on a Friday evening in January. We made a reservation ahead of time, but it wasn't terribly busy at 7pm. It definitely livened up as the evening progressed. The wine preferences of our group varied, so we asked our waiter for a recommendation. Inspired by The Last of Us, we decided to share a bottle of the Colette Régnié Beaujolais 2020. It was delightfully light for a red and easy to drink which was apparent when we finished 2 bottles. For food we ended up splitting several small plates. We started with Focaccia & Olive Oil. I'm definitely a sucker for some good bread dipped in fancy olive oil with spices. This did not disappoint! The focaccia came out warm, and the dipping oil was so good we had to ask for more! Next we split an Artisanal Cheese and Charcuterie Selection. I didn't really know what cheeses and meats I was eating since the waiter didnt explain them. They were all tasty though! There was a very interesting purple mustard included with the meat plate. Originally we couldn't figure out what type of condiment it was due to the color, but our waiter told us once we asked. Apparently it was purple due to including grape skins in the recipe.  Next we ordered a variety of tartines and paninis. I am a huge sucker for pesto so ordering the Emilia-Romagna tartine was an easy choice. It was deliciously salty and creamy. With all the wine I was starting to get sleepy, so I ordered a cold brew too! It definitely hit the spot and was robust without being bitter. To round out our meal we ordered the chocolate tart. It had more of a dark chocolate flavor that was complimented well by the raspberry sauce. The ratio of tart to crust was a little unbalanced as there was more crust than I would have liked but it still tasted good. Overall it was a delightful evening spent with great company. This would definitely be a great option for a girls night. It's fancy without having a ridiculous price tag, so it's very approachable. I highly recommend if you're feeling a little fancy!

This is one of my favorite wine bars in Greensboro. The flat rosé was amazing, and the charcuterie was delicious. Mistura was playing live yesterday, what a great way to spend Sunday evening. The bartenders are very friendly, Nathan is very patient and attentive. It's a regular sized bar with nice decor, and cool light fixtures. The bathrooms are always immaculate. Parking is a bit challenging since this bar is downtown.

I have been wanting to come to this wine bar downtown for some time. Friday, I finally had the opportunity. I was very pleasantly surprised that I could make a reservation for a table online. Not many options for reservations downtown. In addition to wine, Lewis and Elm offers beer, and light seasonal fare options for food. Their wine bottle menu is quite extensive. Most of my group wanted to drink red, and I happen to be more of a white wine gal myself. Our waiter offered some suggestions he thought I might like and even let me sample them first. We ended up going with his suggestion of a Beaujolais. It was a very pleasant red. Not bitter or too heavy. Maybe now I have a new red varietal to add to my "I like" list. After enjoying two bottles of this, I decided I wanted to finish off with a glass of white. The by the glass selection for white was surprising limited. I don't really like sweet and they didn't have a Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or even a Chardonnay. The waiter gave me a couple samples to try options and ended up settling on the Gruner Veltliner. Still a little sweet for my usual liking, kinda like a Riesling, but was alright. Their food menu features a selection of cheeses, salads, and European-inspired small plates. My friend questioned if they had enough food options to be considered dinner. But we all agreed at the end of the night after enjoying everything we had, we were all satisfied. I'm sure all the wine helped too! So we ordered Focaccia & Olive Oil (locally made baked Focaccia topped with sea salt & served with olive oil). It included 6 good sized pieces and they happily gave us more olive oil for dipping when asked. The bread was warm, perfectly baked with crispy crust yet still soft inside. Yum! We made our own charcuterie board of sorts ordering the Artisanal Cheese (Black Pepper Bellavitano, Sam Simon, and Morbier). It come with accoutrements of grape haves, pickled red onion, and more focaccia. To be honest I don't know which cheese was which. Would of liked it if the waitstaff did a quick explanation when they dropped off the dish. Regardless they were all delightful. I really liked the more melty one. I also am going to steal the "jenga" type stacking presentation method. We also got the Charcuterie Selection for some meat (Coppa, Mixed Salame, and Prosciutto). To finish out we ordered some Paninis. My husband got the Panino Italiano (Italian cured meats, house cheese blend, pesto). I had a bite and their pesto was great. I got the Beef and Blue (Roast Beef, house cheese blend, blue cheese & caramelized onion jam). That was a mighty good sandwich, especially that caramelized onion jam. Both were served with green salad & housemade pickles. I definitely had my share of bread this evening, but their freshly made bread was so worth the carb overload. The food prices here overall were pretty reasonable for being a fancier place with nothing we ordered costing more than $15 each. We finished the evening with the chocolate tart as it was recommended. I'm not a dessert person, but it was my type of dessert. Dark chocolate and the tart/tangy raspberry topping was divine. Save room for this. There is something about a wine bar to make ya feel fancy. It was a lovely Friday night. I will be back to enjoy some more bottles and more of their bread again soon.

Lewis and Elm is sophistication at its finest. The interior is so chic and refined. The service is amazing and their servers are very knowledgeable about the wine selections. I also love their small plate offerings like their paninis; they are super tasty! If you want to step away from the crowd and enjoy a sophisticated atmosphere then this is your spot!

We had an 8:15 reservation and we stayed until 10:30. The atmosphere was so inviting. A great place to catch up with friends or for a date night. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about each wine that was selected. We had the wine Flight and one extra glass of a white wine. After 8pm on Saturdays they have a free desert when you get 2 glasses of wine. We took advantage of that and tried out the cranberry tart. Amazing to say the least. Almost finished it before I could take a photo. Overall a great experience. Definitely recommend.

I had the most lovely night at keys Lewis& Elm. This quaint wine bar packs a big lunch. On Thursdays (7-9:30p) and Sundays (2-4p) they offer live music. Tonight it was Sam Fribush with his trio. They was great. More folks should appreciate live music. The menu offers wonderful options with a recommended pairing for each item Alex gave a great alternative to the Sauvignon Blanc I wanted so I had the Cantina Povero Arneis with the Spring salad and cocktail mix. It was a perfect end up a long workday. Parking is a little challenging but there a paid lot in the back I'll definitely be back. Thank you Lewis & Elm.

Had such a great time checking out Lewis and elm. The service was terrific, and the atmosphere was nice. They even have live music twice a week. Now on to the food, I forgot to write down what I ordered but I did get a picture and check it out below they were so good I ordered two. The wine I had was their monthly tasting definitely should start with that. Then I ordered my favorite cab Hall vineyards cabinet sauvignon. They had it on tap was very excited about that you don't see it on tap very often! Definitely will be back to support Lewis and elm when I am in Greensboro! Come check them out you will have such a great experience.

I simply adore Lewis and Elm. I can't say enough good things about this place. Whether you're seated at the bar, a cozy couch or small table, you'll receive great service and a lovely view of the well-decorated interior. Staff members are extremely well-versed in the drink offerings and are some of the most genuine workers in this area. They sell a curated variety of wine and do offer half pours (for us lightweights!) Food plates are appetizers size (not something to feast on if you're super hungry). If you can't find street parking, the paid lot behind SouthEnd Brewing/Boxcar Arcade is the way to go.

We started off with some drinks. My friend loved her cherry ale and I really enjoyed my G&T , the glass it came in was just so unusual. The G&T took awhile to finally make it to me but i loved it. We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Our entrees were the salmon for my friend and I had the Bahn mi chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Usually this sandwich is with pork so I wanted to try this. The service for our dinner took almost 45 mins we had finished the app awhile back and my grind had another drink and still we were waiting. It was closing in on 6.50 Pm and at this point we would be inhaling our food when it came and rushing out the door . It came at 7pm and the sandwich was good but they should mention on the menu that it has mayonnaise on it as I don't like that but there was quite a bit on the bun. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.

After a previous subpar experience, Cooper's Hawk corporate reached out and provided us with gift cards to encourage us to return. We appreciated the gesture and came back genuinely hoping our first experience had simply been an off night. Unfortunately, this visit was actually worse. The biggest problem was the service. We experienced unreasonably long waits throughout the evening, both for drinks and between courses. These weren't occasional delays during an otherwise well-paced dinner--the poor pacing affected the entire meal and made what should have been an enjoyable evening unnecessarily frustrating. We were also uncomfortable with some mildly inappropriate and unprofessional conduct from our server. I don't feel the need to publicly go into detail, but combined with the extremely slow service, it contributed to an experience that fell well below what we would expect from a restaurant at this price point. What makes this particularly disappointing is that Cooper's Hawk corporate had already acknowledged our previous experience and made a genuine effort to get us back through the door. This was an opportunity for the restaurant to win us back, and instead we left feeling even more disappointed than we did the first time. I do appreciate corporate's attempt to make things right, but unfortunately, after giving Cooper's Hawk another chance and having an even worse experience, it's difficult to imagine returning again.

The Bordeaux drinkers were happy with their choice and the Malbec drinkers were satisfied with their choice and commented the wine was soft. I chose a cold Chenin Blanc mostly cuz I haven't seen it on a menu in the Triad for quite some time. It was quite good great nose of sweetness but dry enough to be a good all round table wine. They run about $15, every drink I've tried has been enjoyable, but the House Cosmo has become my go-to, the martini list is a favorite of mine. The bartenders are always friendly and welcoming, and it's fun knowing that one of them founded Girls Guide to Greensboro. George's Garage also keeps things interesting with a great lineup of events, including monthly book clubs, craft nights, and weekly trivia (shout-out to Zero Dark Nerdy!). One tip if you're visiting: George's Garage shares the building with Machete and Sage Mule, so there are parking spaces nearby. Just don't park at Deep Roots Market--you'll likely get towed. Whether you're meeting friends for happy hour, planning a date night, or just looking for a pre or post meal drink, George's Garage is definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back.

Such a fun spot for great drinks, a chill vibe and some laughs…read more Love the indoor/outdoor feel with their garage door opening and open air seating. Plenty of cozy areas with couches, chairs, tables, bar and high tops. Friendly service and great cocktails from our bartender today. I usually personalize my Manhattan since many bartenders pour a little too much of the sweet vermouth. This one came out perfect. And my wife's spicy margarita also had a nice kick, she loved it. This is a great spot for a pre-dinner or pre-Tanger drink or a fun hangout with friends or family enjoying great drinks in a cozy and chill atmosphere.

Another great visit to House Divided. Top 2 spots for wings in Greensboro! Their signature sauce…read morewith lemon pepper seasoning on top is the best combo! Just ask. Mac and cheese, collards, green beans, tacos, yum! Must try the salmon bites. They are SO good! Perfectly breaded and fried. The service was friendly, the food was out hot and fast. Everything I've tried here is amazing. Definitely check it out!

BUT--thank God for DoorDash. That's where the real relationship started, and let me tell you: their consistency is ridiculous. The chicken wings? Fried to absolute perfection. Seasoned to the gods. Sauced to the saucy lords. (You feel me?) Every single time, it's a hit. The mac & cheese? Never misses. Some places, you roll the dice--depends on who cooked that day. Not here. It's always cheesy, seasoned, soft, and straight-up comfort in a bowl. And it must sit next to its best friend: the candy yams. That duo never fails me. My go-to order: chicken wings with the snack sauce + yams + mac & cheese. My fiancé sticks to the wings and double fries, and he's never disappointed either. In fact, I can honestly say there's never been a time I've ordered from House Divided and regretted it. If you're hunting for the best wings in Greensboro, House Divided is top tier. Honestly, they're tied with Bon Bons in my book--two legends, one crown.
