What a bad experience! My wife, 2 teenage kids and I went last Sunday to revisit after not going there for a while. We were greeted and seated promptly. The server was pleasant but when the kids ordered soft drinks, they were out. They settled for tea. My wife and I both ordered wine and they didn't have either type we ordered. The server was not familiar with what was available and tried to ask the bartender for help but she was more interested in talking to the one guy at the bar than being helpful. So disappointed in this location. I understand the weather issues we are in. I'm from Oxford and came here Monday to get power. Saw cars in the parking lot today Wednesday at 2:30 ish and thought would give a call to eat there if they were open and what time they closed. Disturbed by the phone treatment I received. I called and someone picked up but would NEVER say anything just held me there and I could hear people in the background. Stayed like that for about 4 mins then put me on hold. Picked up again and same thing just held the phone open never a word but I could hear people talking. I tried saying hello but no response. They put me on hold again. This went on for 4 times total then after 15 minutes they just hung up on me. I came to Chili's the evening after arriving in town for a work trip. It is within walking distance of our hotel, so is convenient for travelers staying there. As a chain restaurant, the dishes are pretty predictable and nothing very unique. But the quality was good - the food was hot and tasted good. I ordered the Cajun pasta, and my serving was very generous. I had plenty of leftovers for lunch. The server was kind, but appeared overworked (the location seemed understaffed), so service was a little slow. Worst location I've ever been to. Waitress obviously don't want to be at work. Waited over an hour for food on a random Thursday. Waitress only cleaned half of the booth and after I cleaned it myself ( with her towel and spray-that was actually regular water in a bottle) she asked oh you didn't say you wanted both sides cleaned-DUHH! The last time I went was for my daughter's graduation this month and the waitress was terrible. She didn't come to see about us, she didn't refill our drinks, and she forgot an order That was even made. We were staying close by and decided to eat here around 5...big mistake. We were seated in a booth, the seats were dirty, the floor was dirty and the table was so dirty we stuck to it. Asked to be seated at the bar thinking it might be better. Bad choice...we spoke to the bartender and he didn't even acknowledge us. Decided to order here the other night since the nearest location, Southaven, wasn't answering phones and disabled their mobile order app. Upon entering, the staff were very kind and welcoming. They assisted me in which direction to go to pick up my food since I had not been to this location. The to-go staff had a very friendly attitude and were very prompt. All of the food was correct, minus missing an extra ranch that we ordered, but we have plenty at home so no big deal. I'm a server, and I have worked in customer service my whole life. I know how hard it is. But when it's dead in there and you only have 2 tables.. tonight was unnecessary. Could never find our waitress. Each entree came out 15 20 minutes apart from each other it was just 4 of us so not a party of 15. when it was time to pay I finally just handed her a 100 once I finally saw her. 10 minutes later brings me back some change and no receipt, never knew what my bill was which is normally not a big deal for me to not have a receipt but would have been nice to know I got correct change sense I never saw the bill and just gave her what I thought would cover it thinking she would bring it with my change. If I could give zero stars I would, I use to love skillet queso, but the only thing I can recommend from this place is the Presidente margarita but don't get any food because their food is horrible nine times out of 10 you'll have the worst service you've ever had here. They truly need to work harder on making their food edible all the time not just when the health department is there. I never had intentions on not tipping her, she brought over the tablet so I could pay and read out my order but never let me see anything or print me out a receipt afterwards so I could tip her. My intuition never lies I knew that was questionable so I asked another server for my receipt and she finally brought it over just to see that the reason she had never given me the receipt was because she had already helped herself. I had a couple gift cards for the Darden 4 and decided to get rid of them here. After being quoted 45 minutes trying to order online we called it in. I am glad we did because they were out of the cheese wedges, rice, and apples that we originally ordered online. We subbed the sides and changed the appetizer to Skillet Queso. Quoted 15-20 minutes. I arrived about 15 later at sat at the bar, identified myself, and waited. I was horrified by the staff. They must be severely hurting for applicants based on what I witnessed. The bartender referred to me as darling, baby, and sweetie during my additional 20 minute wait at the bar. I hate that crap! I finally get my food and depart. I get home, no Skillet Queso! After the BS so far I had to call. After being told I could come back and get it, I asked for a manger, Brenda Jones picked up the line. I almost gave two stars because of her attitude and apologetic nature. She handled my rant very well and offered multiple comps but I assured her I would not return so it was unnecessary. Worse Chilis I have ever been too. Ordered normal entrees off the menu. Wanted corn with the ribs instead of cole slaw. Told we could not do that and we had to get the cole slaw because it was a garnish!?!? The cole slaw was spoiled anyway. Guess they just wanted to get rid of it. Also ordered a swiss mushroom burger. Burger came out plain and sad looking on the tray. Had to ask for condiments. I have been coming to this place since 2016 when I first moved here. Recently the service and the food have been horrible. Saturday night me and my family went here and had a terrible experience.
