Great atmosphere and patio. The drinks are very good and reasonably priced. Staff is very nice and attentive!

Great place to hangout with Great Food and Great cocktails. Mauricio is a master mixologist! I had the Pizza and my wife had the salmon cakes. Both Gourmet and delicious. The patrons and the owner are a hoot as well. Lots of fun!

A great outdoor seating venue (there is indoor seating, just quite limited). Reminded me of a lot of my favorite Hill Country venues, with a down to earth and down home welcoming. We had the Lee Lee's Berry Smash (a great balance of Berry, Citrus and Adult mixer... aka alcohol), Kelly's Back (A spicey but nicey- featuring fresh Jalapeño, so not for the faint of tongue!), Painkiller (not the famous version featured at a chain kitchen scratch place, but it's certainly a good one!) and Bloody Mary (not pictured). The food featured is from Knife & Whisk, a local catering company in town, they have an on-site catering wagon on the premises. (Separate review to follow because they DO in fact deserve their own glowing review as well!) We enjoyed the small charcuterie board, bruschetta, the Doc Holliday and Salmon Benedict- we couldn't finish it all between the 3 of us- so much 'yum'! The Pros- makes you feel like you are in a different place altogether, like a road trip adventure- without the hours on the road, non-stop bathroom stops, gas prices etc- it's right here in your backyard basically. The Cons- I can't even really call it a true con, but more of a heads up. The Knife & Whisk is separate than the 1880 Icehouse, so you will have 2 separate tabs. Not a big deal- but thought it was worth mentioning.

Great little place just south of Main St. There's ample outdoor seating with a handful of tables indoors under the open garage doors. Cornhole games and live music are a staple, as well. Grab a sandwich, salad or pizza from the Knife & Whisk food truck. You're guaranteed to have a good time!

They have lots of seating outside. They have cornhole games and the waitress told us they have live music in the evenings. We were too early for the live music. But we had a few beers and some food from the restaurant that's in the same area called Knife and Whisk. I had a Manhattan Project Half-Life and from the Knife and Whisk I had a chicken sandwich. Both were very good.

Delicious food, good music, cold drinks. Yelp says they are closed but they are definitely not!

Perfect spot for an afternoon drink on a nice fall day. Jalapeño margaritas and Pain Killers were our picks. Bartender provided great service. We didn't eat from the little food truck but food at other tables looked great.

    Indoor Outdoor Experience!

The turn over seems high since every time I'm there the employees are different.. Today I sat at the bar. Ordered a water and menu. Then she walked away. I just wanted to place my order but after waiving her down twice and she didn't return I walked out. Once you order this place takes awhile at times. Hope this doesn't continue. I visited on a Saturday evening for an early dinner with my parents and sister. (Side note for Dallas residents: If you're familiar with the Katy Trail, it's worth the drive to see where it all began. When the Katy railroad tracks were removed in Dallas, the trail was born. While Denison doesn't have a trail today, the original depot remains, and it's a lovely place to explore.) The atmosphere at Stafford House is calm and refined, with deep burgundy tones, and brown leather accents lending it a warm, intimate feel. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. We started with the steak carpaccio appetizer, which was savory and full of flavor. For dinner, the ladies each had the Airline chicken with mushroom risotto, while my father and I ordered the lamb T-bones. I swapped the vegetable medley for sweet potato grits, which were decent but lacked any noticeable sweet potato flavor. Definitely put Stafford House on your must-visit list. It's a beautiful little spot for a quiet, intimate dinner. And don't miss their adjacent bar--it's equally charming and perfect for a pre- or post-dinner cocktai

This is my first time entering Ivanhoe and Homestead winery. I'll do a separate yelp review for…read moreHomestead since we're talking wines on that side and beers on this one. What actually prompted me to come here today was my disappointment with 903. I had gone there with my wife for their Oktoberfest and to pick up a collectible stein and again, even though I got there much earlier, they supposedly were already sold out even though for the whole 45 minutes to an hour that I was there, I kept seeing other people being given Steins, but that's gonna be on my 903 review. This is all about Ivanhoe. So after leaving Sherman disappointed, we decided to hit Main Street liquor to pick up some Buffalo trace which is pretty much hard to find everywhere around here. After that, my wife had suggested we check out Homestead winery. We walked in through Ivanhoe and were pleasantly surprised with the fact they were doing Oktoberfest as well and had a really nice decorated brew hall. The ladies were dressed to impress and very politely offered me a stein, and I did a double pour of their Märzen. It was so much better than the one I had just had not even half an hour ago down the street at 903. That one was watery and flat tasting, this one had all of the hints and notes of a good solid Märzen. I was very impressed with it and also their level of service. Very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we have missed the Oktoberfest band, but we did stick around to catch Van Ulrich in the evening, ended up staying there for several hours and drinking more beers and wine from their neighbors. I also tried their peanut butter stout which I also found to be delicious. 2 for 2! I believe we were helped by Anna. She was really friendly and even sat down with us for a bit. The whole time we were there, we felt like we were in someone's house as friends sharing a drink, which is the feeling that all brew and wineries, no matter how big or small, should strive for. We will definitely be going back again very soon thank you.

After promoting their "summer kickoff" specials, we had plans to meet friends here to enjoy. Upon walking in, the place was nearly empty except for one other patron. It was dark, around half the lights were out. We approached the bar and waited... and waited. We went to the winery side to see if there was anyone, and there wasn't any employees there either. Went back to the bar side to wait again, and eventually got fed up and left altogether. Now I'm not sure if we would give it another chance. I was quite disappointed after enjoying our first time there
