We got the 'El Taco' flatbread - it says it is served with taco sauce, which I assume is on the crust, but ours was very dry and we asked for additional sauce and were provided 3 small packets which helped a bit. This is our third time here. They never have enough staff working and the girl that is working seems frazzled and borderline rude. Our first visit was good. The second visit they burned my significant other's pizza...twice. The first time the server asked if it was ok, I asked if she could see and smell the charcoal. She took it back. A different server brought the food the second time. She mentioned they had burned it again. And didn't make us pay for it. Tonight we tried for a third time. I will admit the location is good, and the beer is cold. We needed a late night meal. Our server has been super busy, and short with us. It's a holiday, they are completely understaffed, we can overlook that. Was there this afternoon and the server (manager) was extremely rude. Just went there for drinks. First round he asked what we wanted to drink and walked away before we had a chance to respond. This happened again for round two. The third round we were thinking about switching it up and said you guys have had more than enough time to decide what you wanted yet we had no drink menu. We asked what kind of seltzers they had (since we weren't sitting at the bar) and he just walked away. Have given this place a lot of business and recommended this place numerous times to colleagues. A nice spot to head with friends or coworkers for a drink and a bite to eat. Burgers are tasty and the beer is cold. It'll be nice when the weather finally turns so folks can hang out on the outdoor patio. Otherwise it's pretty cozy inside causing it to be a bit loud, but that won't stop me from a return visit. I guess I'm never paying for a bill in cash again. Everything was fine until the bill. (Isn't it always?) she took 20 minutes just to pick up our bill. We overpaid our bill in cash so for like 30 min we were waiting and waiting for our waitress to give us back our change. Met a friend here on a weekday afternoon for a drink. We were immediately bummed because we were too early for happy hour, but then realized happy hour is only .50 off so it wasn't too much of a bummer. I ordered the mango margarita. The place was pretty empty except for the bar which had most spots taken up by what looked like business men on their lunch or maybe off work for the day. My friend ordered the loaded tots w/ out meat. They were your typical nacho tots, pretty cheesy and topped with other favorite nacho toppings. I tried a couple and they were pretty tasty. Not much else available on the menu if you are vegetarian or vegan, maybe a couple of sides. They are definitely a sports bar-fans of the Cubs welcome here. Lots of tvs on different sports channels, even TVs on the patio. The bathrooms were nice although I was a little thrown off by the "sports" photos of "hot" men that filled the walls. My friend said the Men's room was covered in similar photos but all of women in pretty much bikinis. I understand it was March Basketball, but every tv had it on with no other options. A true sports bar would understand the significance of the Palmer Invitational this year. I only asked for golf on one tv all the way in the corner. "No" was the answer and the girl tending bar then asked the drunk guy next to me if he needed another beer. Not from WDM so I swing through about once a week during work trips. Enjoyed watching the NBA Finals, NBA Draft, and MLB All-Star game at this location. Plenty of beers on tap and I always get the Tropical Habanero wings. Carey's tenderloin is always a great choice. I tend to make new friends every time I stop by because everyone is so welcoming. WARNING: If you pay by credit card you will be charged an extra 4%. On a $28 bill that was $1.12. Multiply that by "normal" use of credit cards versus cash and that's likely a hefty amount 1908 pockets! No notice of this practice was spelled out anywhere my friend and I could see. Only discovered when I asked server what the "CC CSV" charge of $1.12 was. In addition, my friend & I each ordered a beer during "happy hour" at a $1 discount. The server gave us the wrong beers. Original ones returned and new beers delivered. But must have been after "happy hour" expired because when we got the bill, the beers were full price.
