Drinks were refilled with perfect timing. And always smiling. She is an asset to the establishment. Driving Suggestion: Depending on the season and the time of day, if arriving from the North, it can be nearly impossible to make the left turn into the Side Door. Suggestion: Turn Right into the strip mall (KFC, AT&T, etc) and use the traffic light near the gas station to turn left, back onto the highway then a right into the Side Door Saloon for some of the best dining in the Petoskey area. Ample Parking is available. YMMV

What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is the incredible level of customer service they provided after our visit. While leaving to head to the park with our younger children, I accidentally left behind my favorite pair of sunglasses--brand new and purchased just a week before our trip. When I called the restaurant, they had thankfully found them. Not only did they hold onto them for me, but they went completely above and beyond by carefully packaging and mailing them back to me. They even made sure they were protected so they wouldn't break during shipping. I was so relieved and incredibly grateful for the kindness and effort their team showed. It's rare to find a business that cares this much about its customers long after they've left the restaurant.
