Used to be 5+ star. This *was* a Dallas crown jewel of an upscale bar with fantastic service and…read moremusic, but it's flipped upside down. The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

A must try! A little sweet and less bitter. Ruel, the fabulous mixologist, does drinks right! My drink tasted like a NOT overly sweet cocktail, fruity and slightly bubbly. My kind of superb cocktail! The munchies they offer you are toasted Texas Pecans, and Corn Nuts! Delicious to the core! Thanks to our bartender, Ruel! I assume EVERYTHING on their cocktail Bible is a hit, just mine was. Pricey, yes. I had 2, and they were worth it! This effortlessly chic bar, located inside the Mansion on Turtle Creek Hotel, is a real hit with guests, tourists, and locals! Excellent service! A must stop! And it's really busy during happy hour and peak hours! You'll thank me later..... Cheers, Yelpers!

Apothecary is always a great after-dinner move and probably the best cocktail bar in Lower…read moreGreenville. Every drink is thoughtful, beautifully presented, and well-executed. This time, I had to try the viral frozen margarita, and it totally hit the spot. It was refreshing, not too sweet, and honestly the perfect "boozy dessert" if that's what you're looking for. The dirty martini, my go-to, was also perfect. The most pleasantly surprising drink was the popcorn bourbon cocktail. It literally tasted like buttered popcorn in drink form, but still felt balanced with just enough bitter notes to let the bourbon shine. Overall, Apothecary continues to be one of my favorite spots for creative cocktails that actually taste as good as they look.

The staff was very inviting and I felt seen and talked to. I ordered: Icelandic hot dog: without happy hour price this would have been 7$. I would not recommend anyone order it at that price but for happy hour half off price, it was more reasonable. Scallop tostada thing: flavors were good. I think full price it was 6 or 8 dollars but for half price it was totally worth it and an interesting bite with food acidity Salmon dip: was gooey and huge and about 17$. I think the pieces of smoked salmon were a little too big for the chip. Pineapple dole whip drink: 12$ happy hour prices. It was Soo yummy and I loved the tajin on top and it was an alcoholic ice cream. Yumm Only fans: also a pretty good drink. Smooth but I would get the pineapple drink again. Overall great experience ,will come back to try some of the other menu items

The…read moreexterior is very concealed and really leans into the speakeasy vibe, which made arriving feel a bit more exciting. When we walked in, the hostesses greeted us and seated us at the table we had reserved in the Leopard Room. Initially, we were placed at a small half table along the wall. We asked if it was possible to move, and they happily accommodated us. That particular table felt a bit awkward for conversation since you can barely face the person across from you. It might work better for someone sitting alone and people watching rather than having a full conversation. Service throughout the night was great. The staff checked in regularly without being intrusive and made sure we always had what we needed. For drinks, I would say they were just okay. They were not bad, but they also were not particularly memorable. Given the speakeasy concept, I expected a bit more creativity in both flavor and presentation. We ordered the Melting Clock Elixir, Persistence of Berries, Cotton Candy Cloud, and the Surrealist 75. As the night went on, the space became much more crowded and louder once the DJ started playing. If you are hoping to have a relaxed conversation and catch up with friends, this might not be the best spot later in the evening. From what I saw, the Library Room seems to have a nicer atmosphere for that. The Leopard Room leans more toward a lounge or club-like environment as the night progresses.
