    Zero proof pineapple mule
    Dede T.

Fantastic food, service and Shelby was a join to have as a server. Down the street from our hotel this secret escape is set-up like visiting your nana's home for a delicious home cooked food. I had the margarita pizza and the hubby had the gladiator with chicken. We both finished our pies and shared the panzanella salad without any proteins. Fresh and delicious was the experience. The Zero proof pineapple mule which was recommended by our sever was refreshing and incredibly tasty. The restaurant is upstairs. After a few steps you are welcomed at the front by a greeter and it's a spacious yet intimate space for friends and family. Loved our experience and it's in the folder to recommend to others.

We had been wanting to try this place for years and finally got some take-out pizza. It's Neapolitan style pizza and may be my new favorite in dallas. The pizza definitely held up til the next day. You probably need to account for about 3/4 pizza/person; they are not big. The hostess was friendly and quick when I got there. The space seemed cozy and pretty.

I had high expectations for Partenope and unfortunately they were not met. Service was really poor throughout the evening. After being seated, we waited for over 20 minutes and no one acknowledged us. It took one person in our party to alert the host before a server arrived, and he wasn't particularly friendly. Disappointing! We ordered many dishes, but the top three were the Burrata e Cavoletti, Fusilli Al Pesto, and Spaghetti Alla Nerano. The pastas were very fresh and flavorful! For pizzas, we tried the Montanara and the Meta Di Sorrento. Both were very mid and if you don't like smokey flavors I'd skip the Meta! And for dessert, my personal favorite was the lemon cake. The apple calzone wasn't served warm and the pistachio cake was just ok.

Oh the pizza... I am still dreaming about that amazing dough. Absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic. For apps, burrata bruschetta and meatballs. The brushetta was best of both worlds. The boys really loved the meatballs. We got 4 different pizzas and we devoured them all. My husband was even stealing my crust. Absolutely great. Service was frustrating. I think our waitress had too big of an area. Examples, she would stop by and then disappear to another side of the room. Said we were ready to order. But she didn't have her machine. Ill be back in 90 seconds... 15 minutes later not back. Happened a lot. I was extremely frustrated but the amazing pizza will have us return.

Was the food good? Parte-nope. The place is attractive and dark, but the food wasn't that great. The $14 (not really) chopped salad was fine (romaine, artichoke, olives, provolone, cherry tomato, pickled onion, cucumber, parmesan, hot soppressata, and red wine vinaigrette). The two fresh completely fine $19 pizzas were bland, flimsy, doughy, and dependent on pepper flakes. How much flavor did the Montanara have with its (allegedly) flash-fried crust, mozzarella, marinara, and basil? Montanada. And the somehow bland mozzarella, whipped ricotta, lemon zest, mint, and zucchini of the Meta Di Sorrento made us Meta di Sorry we ordered it.

service was fine, pizza was great. i ordered the montanara and gennarino. both were baked beautifully and the crust is heavenly. i definitely recommend the gennarino! the soppressata added a perfect amount of kick to the pizza and brought out the flavors of the fresh basil! i love how homey and close the restaurant seemed too! there's lots of options for parking included street and accessible garage parking at elm street too.

I had a great time at partenope. Staff is great and the atmosphere so relaxing. It's a fun spot downtown and good to catch happy hour and some amazing Italian food. I had the tridente pizza and absolutely loved it! Can't wait to come back

I had high expectations for this place. The happy hour wine was a great deal but nothing else really lived up to the hype. The lasagna was good, but not great. I also didn't like how a lot of the sauce was cold, while the inside was really hot. The deserts were also just ok, nothing special. The tiramisu tasted like one you could get from a grocery store.

This restaurant is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing the food and drinks are excellent. The wait staff are very knowledgeable and were willing to answer any questions we had. They have vegetarian options and gluten "friendly" (though not 100% gluten free) options for anyone who's gluten intolerant or sensitive. Best pizza in Dallas and probably the best pizza I've ever eaten. I highly recommend the Montanara pizza, its flash fried dough gives the crust a light and airy texture. The pasta also got rave reviews from my friend who was dining with us. Definitely suggest getting a reservation as it gets quite packed in the evening.

Genuinely so impressed by this place. We stopped in on a whim and had the best time. My husband got a pizza and I got a gnocchi, both were beyond our expectations. Their wine list was nice but we were just in for a quick lunch, service was fantastic as well. The atmosphere was lovely, definitely a nice date spot but was perfect for lunch as well.

Partenope has been on my "to-try" list for as long as I've been visiting Dallas for work. I decided to make a stop at lunch around 12pm on a Monday. The framed pictures and decor reminded of my Italian in-laws' house, so I felt the comfort of being at a home. The place was busy but not crowded, and I was able to get seated right away. I started at a table but noticed that the bar had an electric outlet. I moved to the bar and did a bit of work in between waits. Service was excellent. I mentioned to my server that I was on a time crunch and had to get to a meeting by a certain time. She and the kitchen came through with quickly getting my order to me and without compromising flavor or quality. I got the butternut squash bread salad, which was delicious. Loved the tender bites of squash, and the creaminess of the goat cheese was a nice contrast to the sweet lemon vinaigrette. The margherita pizza was great as well. I appreciated the generous amount of mozzarella. The marinara tasted bright and freshly made. I'm a fan of sweeter tomato sauces, but I thought Partnope was good.

While the entire world is on glp1s I feel it's my societal obligation to continue to bring my hearty appetite out in support of local businesses. Since relocating, each weekend I try to get to a new place. I'd come across an infatuation *best pizza in the America list and thought to myself I doubt highly anywhere in Dallas will make the cut. I was wrong, enter Partenope. I was so excited to bookmark another new Ristorante. I've been dipping into spots for lunches on weekends as that's what's most convenient vs trying to wrangle a rezzie for an evening. Since most of my dining is done solo, I haven't put too much emphasis on the vibe of a place lately. I can imagine what it's like when it's super busy and buzzing but I'm in acceptance with being able to try the food at a time that works best for me. I devoured an entire Calabrese pie, enjoyed a lovely glass of montepulciano (I liked this better than the Chianti), and topped it all off with their tiramisu and a cappuccino. Service was excellent. They also have tvs which I love, because I like the option of being able to watch a game or two when I eat. I'm totally that person, the one who will watch on my phone if there isn't a tv. There was a pizza/pasta class happening that seemed fun, but by the weekend I'm happy to just relax for a moment and have chef make my pie. I loved that they thanked me in Italian when leaving, it made lunch feel like a trip to Napoli. I'd happily return and recommend. Pizza is my absolute hands down most fav food ever and I can be a little bit particular about it. I LOVED Partenope's! A very well deserved spot on the best pizza in the US list. * https://www.theinfatuation.com/all/guides/best-pizza-in-america?ifsb=yes

Penne Rigate di Parmigiano E Funghi

First impression of the restaurant when we walked in was that it was very clean. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the waitress and were seated promptly for lunch on a Saturday. You immediately notice the authentic Italian clay oven and it smells like incredible bread when you walk in. We had to get some. The olive oil is also very high quality. We had a salad with shrimp, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. They had a slight char from the high heat oven, were very well seasoned, and perfectly tender. We also ordered a penne pasta with mushrooms and Parmesan cream. Added shrimp as well. The pasta was clearly made fresh that day and was al dente. Again the shrimp were plump and tender. Their pasta rivals what I've had in Italy. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in Dallas.

I visited Waters Edge with my family this past weekend before we went to a movie at the Drafthouse…read more(just across the parking lot), and we had a good time! Waters Edge is a winery and a bistro - so you can come for drinks or a meal or both. We were told that they make all of the wines on their menu, of which there are dozens of wines on their menu. I've been to a few urban wineries before, and it's an interesting concept. Waters Edge buys grape must (crushed grapes) from around the world and then craft and bottle wines made from that must at their locations (this Dallas location is one of 15 across the country). Wanting to try a few of their wines, the four of us shared two flights of five wines each. We tried the Tour of Armenia and Alec's Flight (a rotating selection of wines by their winemaker). Did I like every wine? No. But I thought most of them were pretty good. Personally, I'm not sure they need to make this many wines; I'll always prefer a business that does ten things well than fifty things fine (the Cheesecake Factory rule). But most of the wines were pretty nice (of the 10 I tried, I wouldn't drink 3 or 4 but wouldn't mind drinking the rest again). I appreciated that many of their wines are Armenian style, because I haven't had much opportunity to try Armenian wines. We also ordered a few snacks - they have a full food menu. We shared their Deviled Egg of the Month (2 eggs - 4 halves) and their Cheese is Life Board (two cheeses, hot honey, giardiniera, and crispy flatbread), which were both good snacks. They've been open just under a year, but the place doesn't feel quite lived in yet. The dining room has a large room divider in it, set up like a bookshelf. It has books and card/trivia games about wine and more. But many of these items were still wrapped in plastic, making it feel a little impersonal. The service was good, and it's a comfortable place to spend a couple of hours! The food we had was pretty good. The wines in my opinion are just okay - probably not the spot to take a wine snob on a date. But they have a large variety of wines, so you're likely to find one or many that you like. Not a bad place to spend some time if you're in the neighborhood!

We were seated promptly, but there were no clean high chairs available, so we had to wait a few minutes while one was cleaned. That wasn't a big deal. After about 10 minutes, our server finally came over to take our drink and food order. From there, things went downhill. We waited around 30 minutes without our server checking on us once, while tables that were seated after us began receiving their food. After about 45 minutes, we decided to ask for our order to be packed to go. That's when we found out our original server had already left without handing our table off to another employee. Our order had been entered into the system but was never brought out, and no one noticed. What made the experience even more frustrating was that there were several employees standing around at the front and only a couple of other tables in the restaurant. It was surprising that no one realized we'd been sitting there without food or service for so long. I was genuinely excited to try this highly rated restaurant, but instead I ended up wasting an hour and a half. No one attempted to make things right or offered any apology beyond explaining what happened. I would also encourage the staff to be mindful of communication when interacting with customers. If a customer asks a question, it's best to answer them directly in a language they understand. Speaking among yourselves in another language during a service issue can easily create the impression that you're talking about the customer, even if that's not the intent. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this restaurant. I hope they improve their customer service because the food may be good, but the service needs significant attention
