I got there special of two XL pizzas and wings. Really is a good deal. I wish the food was as good as that deal though. Not bad pizza, just not great. It was a little salty for my liking. The wings had nice flavor but they rubbery and quite small. Great service and the inside was very laid back

Incredible lunch special, the pizza is true Italian pizza. Very very good

Amazing pizza and wings! The owner is an authentic Italian man, very kind. Feels like a slice of Italy in AZ

Never spending my money here again. The wings were pathetically small. And they have no flavor just pure grease. I should of known that 25 wing don't normally fit in a small appetizer container

This is my spot for pizza on the west side!! They have a few locations, but I love the one on Greenway.. For authentic street style pizza you can not top this joint. They have regular specials that are great for families and also offer slice only options. My go to is the #1 Meal. A large cheese pizza with an order of wings. An extra topping is somewhere around $3 and definitely worth it. We always add pepperoni to ours! Although a bit on the greasy side the pizza is too notch. A little flop to the slice but still crisp with a good crust! Dab the grease off for a sensitive tummy and you're good to go! The wings are a little different than a traditional wing. Not fried or crispy, super saucy though. I go for the hot and its just an elevated Buffalo in my opinion. Still flavorful though. Hit this place for a slice of you need it on the west side!

If you want delicious pizza with a nice, thin and crispy crust, this is the place for you. The wings were also delightful, small and crispy. There is a great deal for 25 wings and a cheese pizza for $25. We added half pepperoni... everything was perfect. We ate it right there, so I cannot speak to how it holds up to take out. Service was excellent too! Be sure to give them a try and enjoy!

This place was amazing greeted by the owner with a warm smile , the portions were large, the quality was A1 , and the atmosphere was super dope with authentic Italian being spoken in the kitchen . Everything is super clean and the vibes are super relaxed like the old school Pizza joints you see in movies . Going here and no where else from This day forward . I'm surprised since I'm super picky when it comes to my food it's rare to run into places this awesome

Terrible atmosphere and obviously little care in kitchen results. Flavor not good enough to overcome the atmosphere for eating in.

Both pizzas were interesting. The Lichfield Park pizza has pesto sauce and corn on it, as well as cheese, so you might get a slice of that after your "guests" scarf their first helping. You better grab a slice of the Brooklyn pizza right away, though, because it's a traditional-looking pizza with pepperoni and sausage. You won't get a second shot at a slice. You'll get to finish the rest of the "adult" strawberry & bacon salad, though, with spinach instead of lettuce, walnuts, strawberries, and bacon bits. It doesn't come with ranch or even ranch-colored dressing, so they might not risk trying a pinkish salad dressing as a dip for their pizza crust. It's a very good salad and helped my vacation digestion, since I'm not used to the 110° August heat. Papa Paul's Pizza is less than a mile away from my room at the Wigwam. Going there would even be walkable in the summer heat if the fences around the Wigwam had pedestrian gates. As it is, both driveway gates on that corner of the Wigwam are slotted through the perimeter fence far from the place where Papa Pauls and the resort are just across the street from each other. I'm too delicate for a 0.9-mile walk in that much sun. I enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar to rehydrate, though, while I waited for the pizzas to come out of the oven.

Limited wine list for an Italian restaurant. We started with a caesar salad to split - SO much cheese, it was too much. I understand some people like that, but I wish they would have lightened up the amount and just have people ask for more if they want that. I ordered the chicken & broccoli alfredo. Sauce was clearly made in house, but the pasta itself was generic and did not taste like it was homemade. Good amount of protein though. We also ordered the mango and classic cannolis, and these stole the show. Flaky to perfection! If we come back, we might try the pizzas to see how it compares to the pasta.

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.

World-class pizza in AZ!…read more I have traveled the world and had many Pizzas, and this is hands-down one of the best pizza places I've ever experienced. Tucked away in the Westgate Mall, it's a compact, modern little spot that likely gets buzzing during the lunch hour. The service is excellent--you just order at the counter and they bring the pizza out to you. If you're in the area, do not pass this up. We'll absolutely be returning on our next trip to Arizona!

The pizza is loaded with toppings, the salads are always fresh, and the wings are really good. Their family deals are also a great value--we're a family of five and usually still have leftovers.
