These were some pretty good slices! They are very thin but still held up and provided a pretty good crunch. I would have enjoyed a little more cheese as it was very thin near the bottom. But when I got a good amount further up it was a really great bite! The seasoning added another layer of flavor that I really enjoyed. Lastly, the crust. It was delicious. The crust itself had this texture that reminded me of a breadstick. Light in the middle with a subtle crunch. The atmosphere was very laid back. The staff were very friendly. As soon as I came in I was greeted. Great slices for the price! 3*** = Good but no separation from similar restaurants 4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back. 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there! read more

Trying to find a spot after dropping my mom to church and figured I drive by this place all the time so figured I'd try. A nice pizza and bar place. Some good prices. And I enjoyed their mango habanero wings. The pizza wasn't bad more thin crust which I'm not a huge fan of but they did theirs good. Waitress was nice and a lot of regulars came which is a plus. We happened to be driving by and decided to check it out. It wasn't too crowded (just before dinnertime). It's owned by a Veteran and there were military flags and memorabilia all around. It's not too big, but didn't feel too small, either. There's bar seating, with a few TV's on the wall, as well as table seating. I got one of their specials...a slice, 6 wings and a drink. I went with just plain cheese pizza and got garlic butter parmesan sauce on my wings. Hubby got another one of their specials...2 slices and a drink. We also got a starter of fried zucchini sticks. Everything was quite nice! The pizza is thin & crispy with the right amount of sauce and cheese. They reminded me of old school pizzas for some reason. The wings were mighty tasty (we split them) and the zucchini sticks were fresh and hot! We also got fresh brownies to go...they were sooo good!! The servers we had were very friendly. Service was great , food was very good . The wings were the best thing we had . Wings were very crispy , and the mango habanero sauce was delicious . Wife and I enjoyed our food and can't wait to come back and try the pizza . Nice quiet place , friendly staff , chef was alone , and we still got our food in a timely manner . And to top it off this place is veteran owned and operated ... hoorah!!!! We drive by this place all the time and we finally stopped in for lunch . And we were both glad we did . This place is fantastic! Been coming for years, love the wings. Extra crispy, mixed garlic parm and hot are the way to go. Pizza is delicious and always crispy, sauce is amazing. Staff are sweet and helpful. Inside isn't too big but not insanely small. I've come here before after a big move and have had 10-12+ people with me that they could accommodate very well after we called ahead to let them know. The Menu includes hand tossed pizza, sandwiches, wings, spaghetti and so much more, there is something to satisfy everyone's hunger. On this visit we shared pizza, wings, mushrooms, and a cesar salad and everything was great. The pizza had a very flavorful sauce and just the right amount of toppings. The pizza wasn't greasy, like some others. The crust was perfectly crispy, not too thick or bready, and the hot wings were just amazing. Well, the menu said Breaded Chicken, so since this is an Italian place, I thought it would be a chicken cutlet sandwich. Instead,it was just a decent piece of breaded chicken with basic condiments on an average roll. The fries were terrible though. I had been wanting to check this place out for a bit now. It's a nice little hole in the wall pizza shop. I actually just recently realized this was my older brothers first job when it was at 59th and Glendale. Small world. They offer pizza, pastas, wings, apps, sandwiches, etc. we got a cheese and pepperoni slice of pizza, turkey sub, potato salad and a brownie for dessert. The pizza had a nice crispy crust (my favorite) and plenty of toppings. Everyone liked it. The turkey sub was just a plain sub, not horrible but nothing special about it. The potato salad they say is homemade. Almost tasted store bought but it was good. The brownie was huge and it was fudgy and delicious! Overall, good food and decent prices. Pizza is not very good at all zero flavor but it hit the spot if you drink a lot then it's perfect. Food was good. I had Pepperoni Pizza and Jalapeno Mozzarella sticks (which you can't find at a lot of places). The pizza was pretty good, if they add a little bit of seasoning to the sauce (salt, Italian seasoning, pepper) that would elevate it a lot! They have great side options which is cool a lot of stuff you don't find on other menus Jalapeno Cheese curds and Jalapeno Mozz Sticks which were awesome. ; Server was fantastic and was very helpful she was doing a lot between Dine-in and Take-Out orders and was getting her hustle on very well. She deserves 5 stars herself. Hopefully they flavor up the pizza sauce and that would bump it to 5 starts for me and my experience. First of all the service is awesome.. The waitresses are great and can help you with your order. Even the customers will tell you what is good and what is ok. It's an extremely friendly place. I've been in there 4 times and had wonderful conversations with other customers creating a great ambiance for me and my wife. So for the food: The wings are excellent and the size of them is great. The pizza is ok of you order what you would order from pizza hut, but let me tell you what to order: the pastromi pizza with pickles and peppers. It was extremely good. We found Chrissy's Nino's Pizzeria while visiting from California. I can't say when the last time was that I had such amazing service. Dana was incredible! I watched her handle 8 tables, 4 people at the bar and the cash register, ALL BY HERSELF! Not only was she the only one working the 'front of the house' she did it with a smile on her face, and made time to talk with obvious locals. I can see why they come back time and again. I was not super impressed with the pizza, thought it was a little bland, but the salad and blue cheese dressing were great! I would come back here in a heartbeat because of the service alone! Food itself- I had a dozen wings and a salad- was overpriced and lacking in flavor. I ordered medium sauce and to me it wasn't event mild. The salad was also pretty small and tired for the price. Pizza was pretty decent- I had a bit of my friend's...but I purposely wanted something healthier which is why I ordered wings. I'd probably return for pizza. Nothing super crazy cool about this place. It's small and cozy and seemed pretty clean. I guess it's been around for a long time, 30 year or so, so the decor is really really dated. Hubby had 2 very large pieces of pizza and I had the cod fish basket. Nothing was greasy, the beer was cold and they actually have some good choices! Price was decent. Volume level was acceptable so we could converse. TV had sports on it, turned down which is a good thing. Seems to have a lot of local and they do a pretty decent take out business it looked like. Ninos pizza has the best wings in my opinion ever! They are crispy with just the right amount of wing sauce. Pizza is a thinner style crust. With delicious pepperoni, toppings. My only critique would be sometimes bottom of crust is a bit grainy. But pizza wings everything is so good it doesn't matter. This is definitely the best pizza place around. We're from the Midwest, Illinois to be specific and the food is absolutely amazing out there. Unfortunately when we moved to Arizona seven years ago we didn't find quite the same quality of food out here. Then we found this hole in the wall.
