Car received from Meticulous Auto completely covered in debris/compound (white flecks) after new paint job.

Pretty much a disaster all around. I had previously taken a vehicle, 14 yr old nonetheless, in for repairs including a new hood/paint and the job was perfect when Nick Campanelli owned Meticulous Auto Body ~ 2014. Nick Campanelli doesn't own Meticulous Auto Body anymore yet he is still featured/advertised as the owner. Fast forward and I have a BRAND NEW vehicle that came shipped from the dealer with some damage to the hood/paint. Not only was the out of state dealer involved but also corporate as well to ensure that repairs were done to the vehicle. I took my brand new car to Meticulous Auto Body and was promised by Brent Kreitzman (new owner) that he knew/understood the situation and would "make things right" A new hood was ordered and painted along with some other areas to be addressed/repainted. Meticulous Auto Body was the highest of all bids received for work to be done but Brent told me they would go the extra mile and assured me that my car would be returned in NEW CONDITION. I will now be returning for the 4th time which I am absolutely dreading...., Yes-you read right, the 4th time to have Meticulous repair the faulty work they did on my BRAND NEW VEHICLE. Upon picking up my vehicle after the 1st go around, I got home and noticed the next day that my vehicle was covered in debris...This after ~1/3 of the car had been repainted. The vehicle was picked up @ closing time in late Fall and was not noticeable at the shop/in the outdoor area. I was subsequently told..."oops, we missed that...." (See the photos and tell me how a professional auto body paint shop could miss the polish/buffing compound they left my car covered in) Flaws in the paint job along the front edge of the hood on both the left and right side (see photos) I meet with Brent and Nick @ Meticulous and they double team me to tell me that what I am seeing is normal and due to the way the hood is made. I then take the car to the VW dealer/body shop where the hood came from and speak to the body shop manager and he tells me NO, it is not due to the hood but to the quality of the paint job that was done on the vehicle and that they should re-do the entire job...which they didn't but were somehow able to make it all disappear. Plastic clad molding around 2 wheels was removed and replaced with brand new pieces that had to be taken off when the vehicle was repainted. Funny thing, next day when coming out to look at the vehicle the new cladding is scratched on both wheels. Fine swirls clearly visible all throughout at least 1 of the doors that had been repainted and not leftover wax either..... Decided to take the vehicle to a top auto body paint shop to have them look over the vehicle/paint job that was done @ Meticulous. As soon as the gentleman looked at my vehicle he pointed out the flaws in the brand new paint job that had been done @ Meticulous. There were multiple dimples in the paint/clear coat on one of the rails running along/up the windshield that were pointed out and couldn't be missed under the lights of the auto body shop. Fine scratches all throughout the hood that could only be seen by a professional. A few months after getting my vehicle back I notice paint coming off the hood right on the lip/edge running along the windshield. Additionally, you can see through the paint job further on the lip/edge towards where the hood meets the fender. I take the vehicle in once again and Brent asks me if I took it to a car wash.....Why yes I did, but that shouldn't cause the paint to come off and it was also a touchless car wash as well. Brent then proceeds to lift up the windshield wiper and tell me that is what caused the paint to come off the lip/edge of the hood. Funny thing, where the wiper makes contact with the hood when manually lifted is not where the paint is coming off and there are absolutely no marks/scratches on the windshield wiper.....Oh and there are absolutely no other defects in the brand new hood....other than the paint job done by Meticulous. A brand new vehicle...and I not only have been lied to about the quality of their workmanship or competency but have wasted numerous hours/days bringing my vehicle back to have them fix their workmanship. A BRAND NEW CAR and just look at the photos and decide for yourself.

Looks brand new with genuine Subaru parts.

Huge shout out to Meticulous Auto Body for taking care of my son's car! They did an amazing job and used genuine Subaru parts. Some of you might not know, but rear fenders are a PAIN! A lot of cutting and welding, and they made it look brand new. They even found a hole in the exhaust from the impact and fixed that too! If anyone in the area is looking for body work, see Brent at Meticulous Auto Body in Milwaukee! Thank you Brent and team!

Ultimately a new bumper was needed, paint work performed and a few dents needed to be pulled out. I had no idea what to do for repairs and looked around for a well reviewed shop to take on this relatively small job. I found Gerber on Yelp and I have to say, I am phenomenally happy with my experience. Submitting a quote online was super quick and easy. I received a response in a few hours. Later, I submitted a claim through the responsible party's insurance. I was interested that the shop performed their own paint work and was skeptical that they could match my car's unique red metal flake finish. The technician assured me that they do their best but let me know it may be a slightly different shade in certain lighting conditions. I was definitely a bit worried, but it turns out that they did an excellent job. I got a call about a week later that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I was so happy with the results of my repair! The bumper matches the rest of the car perfectly and the workmanship is second to none. I couldn't be more pleased. What's more - they matched their quote within about $50. You just can't beat that. Gerber turned out to be an excellent choice. I kind of wish I got rear ended harder so they could have done more work on the car (I'll be careful what I wish for).

After 181,000 miles, my 2014 Tesla Model S suffered damage to her hood and bumper. Having taken my cars to PAW for nearly two decades with incredibly excellent results, I had no hesitancy about trusting their award-winning abilities. My insurer (State Farm) immediately approved them, PAW saw me with no delay, and all I needed to do was drop my car off and pay the deductible when picking my Baby up after repairs were timely completed. The friendly and courteous staff made the entire experience stress-free and, as usual, their work was exceptional. I should mention I had PAW detail my S while the repairs were being done. My girlfriend was astounded with the result, telling me the car looked as if it were "two days old!" Please consider them the next time collision, paint or detailing work is needed!
