The day of my initial appointment, I received a voicemail from Kim saying that they couldn't see me at all because my insurance is a federally funded program and that all of my appointments had to be cancelled. I came in with severe,…read morechronic pain from a long-standing case of spondylitis, along with a recent disc herniation that left me barely able to walk or sit. The sciatica that radiated my whole body was excruciating, and I was desperate to find anything that could help before my next step being a visit to the Neurosurgeon. Dr. Dace wasn't sure he could help me but, he performed a thorough assessment, determined that even though my case was complex, I was indeed a candidate for treatment, and developed an aggressive care plan to fit the 7 1/2 weeks I was visiting from out of town. His goal was to help heal the herniated disc, reduce the pain and give me some function and mobility and to my amazement, it worked! Dr. Dace and Eve, along with Nelly, Kristina and Laura --played an important role in my recovery. They were all very kind, patient, compassionate, and incredibly gentle throughout every visit.
