I recently found these gents because my car hood had some damage to it and appeared to need a new hood. Well, I was not trying to purchase a whole new hood. So I decided to research coating and car detailing companies. Found these guys and the rest is history. Steve is the owner and was super helpful and made sure all went well. I had no worries about my car's safety and they were great about keeping me posted. It was an unbelievable difference when I got her back. My car looks brand new. Smells new and now I don't even want to get it dirty. I am also savvier as to why is best to hand wash your car as opposed to sending it through the mechanical car washes. i decided to try this place out after getting tired of the car wash across the street and a little…read morefurther south of them that would charge nearly the same price for a drive thru car wash with people that don't clean the inside very well but almost beg for a tip. this place was awesome!!! they cleaned my ford mustang to perfection inside and out! and they only charge 35.00. it didn't take long at all, maybe 40 mminutes. just enough time to go next door to the valero get a snack/drink and go sit under the tree where there are chairs placed for customers to rest while you're car gets an a+ cleaning!! i tipped these guys plenty and they now have 2 extremely happy regular customers, me snd my better half!! they are way better than carwash across street from them and charge nearly the same for hands on detailing compared to a machine drive thru!!

Some places claim to do hand washing but actually run your car through a drive-through machine. At RCJ, I appreciated that they truly washed and dried my car entirely by hand, keeping the ceramic coating swirl-free. Communicating what I wanted done was a little challenging, but I think I understand that the paint was cleaned with clay material first to remove all debris, the sealant was applied, and was then polished with a rotary tool. The car looks great, very shiny, and the interior detailing was thorough. The exterior work was $150, and the detail added another $60, which seems quite reasonable, though I am still not clear on exactly what sealant was applied. Subsequently the only problem I noticed was that the driver side mirror still had bug residue on it, and which I cleaned with a wet paper towel, plus some minor surface imperfections in the sealant when I look very closely, but overall looks great.

The response I received was that it was raining "here" and that was why they were waiting. No location, no updated arrival time, and no communication before the appointment time. The issue wasn't the weather. The issue was the lack of communication. A mobile car wash business deals with weather every day. A simple message before the scheduled appointment time would have avoided wasting a potential future lifelong customer's time as this was our first appointment. After I explained that my concern was the lack of communication, I received an "understand" response, but no apology for the lack of notice or communication. As I'm writing this review almost two hours after the appointment time, it still has not rained at the service location. Communication matters.
