Food was amazing. Felt like we were in New York!! Best deli in SW Florida!! We've been here many times and never disappoints. Service was also great.

    New York Deli decor!

1st Street Deli - is not an ordinary deli. It is located inside the Seminole Immokalee Casino. Due to its proximity it is a convenient place for a quick bit before or after your action at the slot machines or the table. The ambiance reminds me a little of New York Deli and New York price. Of course it is slightly more expensive. After all, this is a casino business! I have the Corned Beef and Pastrami on Rye. The meat here is always on lean side as preferred by my wife. For me, I put a generous portion of Beaver's Deli mustard to rejuvenate the moistness and at the same time with a mouthful of Cole slaw or potato salad. Today, no Dr. Brown's cream soda but just a sweet tea. This works well for me and hit the spot. Wife ordered an 8 Oz burger and munched on her French Fries. Today, she is in joyous mode because she is positive in her slot machine action while I suffered a small lose. Oh well, "A small lose is a big win!" The staff is always professional and we never have any problem here! Now we are full and refreshed. My wife just asked, "Can we have another round of slot machine?" Yes, Dear!

This is a great place for a quick bite before hitting the slots! It is a bit expensive but that's to be expected at a casino hotel. My boyfriend and I shared The Midtown Reuben which had corned beef & pastrami. It was HUGE and more than enough for two people. The free pickles and hot cherry peppers to start were an awesome touch as well.

Probably the best pot roast made from slowly braised short ribs. Add that to the fact that you can use casino comp money to pay for it and your meal is complete! The waitress are very polite and good.

I was only in the casino for 45 minutes, including the nice meal here, because the smoke was very bad so we did not gamble.

After my experience on Thursday, February 12th, that's over. At 6:05 PM, I placed a small online order (mozzarella sticks, a calzone, and a sandwich) through their website, as I always do. Estimated pickup: 29 to 34 minutes. I arrived at 6:41 with my wife and kids in the car. Food wasn't ready, but "five more minutes." Fine. Five turned into twenty. Twenty turned into forty. During that time, I watched the staff take phone orders and quote every customer "20 to 25 minutes," no matter the order size. When I asked what the holdup was, the staff, who were genuinely doing their best, explained that new kitchen staff were struggling. My son was starving, so I left to grab him food elsewhere and came back about 30 minutes later, confident my order would be waiting. It wasn't. At 7:35 PM, ninety minutes after placing a three-item order, nothing was ready. I asked the staff why they were still quoting 20-minute turnarounds when the reality was 90+ minutes. I suggested they pause online ordering to let the kitchen recover. They told me the owner, Jared Grifoni, has instructed them to keep online orders on and to continue telling customers 20 minutes, despite knowing the kitchen is nowhere close to meeting that timeline. That's not a bad night. That's a policy decision to mislead customers for the sake of revenue. I requested a refund. As it was being processed, two of my three items finally came out. When the staff asked the kitchen about the last item, the answer was: "I have no idea when we'll get to that." I left at 7:46 PM, one hour and forty-one minutes after ordering. To be clear: the staff on the floor that night are not to blame. They were put in a no-win situation and handled it as well as anyone could. The issue is ownership making a conscious choice to overload the kitchen, deceive customers about wait times, and let the staff absorb the fallout. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full. When I left, it was almost empty. I won't be adding myself to either count again.

Thankful it made its way to small town label. Location: located in the plaza right next to hungry howies. There is parking available directly in front. The deli has maybe 4-5 tables to sit and eat and a full counter space with high chairs. Food: They offer the typical popular cuban bakery style items. We ordered some Of the ham croquettas and tried their chorizo croquetta which was pretty tasty. We ordered a few of the pastries guava and cheese, cheese and coconut all were great not to flaky and well done. Finally we took home some sandwiches pan con bistec, cuban sandwich and media noche. All 3 sandwiches were well made and pretty big. Ham was fresh, cheese was nicely melted & bread was nicely toasted (pressed). Price: its in the scope of normal some things a little higher than others. Considering the time we are in I can understand the prices a little higher. Staff: Super friendly attentive and welcoming.
