Stopped by Wicked Good Deli and ordered the Philly cheesesteak with onions and mushrooms, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was really flavorful, made with fresh ingredients, and served hot. It came with a side of French fries that were fresh and crispy as well. The location was busy when I visited, which is always a good sign, but the food quality was worth it. I went to Wicked Good Deli for lunch on my birthday with friends. I really liked how the staff greeted us upon entering and then proceeded to tell us the ordering process there. I ordered their Greek Chicken wrap with a soda and a bag of chips. It took a while to get our food even though they weren't that busy, which was kind of disappointing but when we finally got our food, everything tasted good. Interior atmosphere was neat as it was a cool little hole in the wall sandwich and spud restaurant. My friends enjoyed themselves there also and they said they thought their meals were tasty as well. Typical deli layout in a rundown Plaza. Has an offputting odor. I couldn't quite make out what it was.. service was reasonable and quick. I got there at 2 o'clock. So I had no lunch rush. The menu looks fair and reasonably priced. I got the day special, which was a pastrami on Rye with chips for 9.99, which I am so glad I did because it is probably one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've had perfectly juicy and tender at the same time and the flavor was spot on. We ordered the Wicked Famous Steak Bomb, which is a best-seller for them with ribeye steak, peppers, onions, mushrooms, salami, and melted American cheese. This was our first time visiting Wicked Good Deli and it was delicious! To start the staff was super helpful in recommending most popular and personal favorites, which I always appreciate. We ended up going with the Wicked Famous Steak Bomb and Reuben sandwiches. The bread on the Steak bomb was perfectly soft and warm to complement the steak, peppers, onions and cheese and WOW, it's called famous for a reason. Best Philly we have found around here. Wicked Good Deli 1-15-25 Stopped by to grab some lunch around 11:30 on a Monday. This place was not that full. If you want fancy don't stop here. It has a bunch of tables inside and 2 tables outside. Inside is very basic with concrete unfinished Floors and Ceiling tiles with water marks that should have been replaced years ago. The dirty air filter should be at least covered up. I did notice masking tape on some of the molding, so I believe they are doing some improvements. We walked up the counter and ordered a Special of the day which was 1/2 lb. of Pastrami on Rye with Honey Mustard and chips for 9.99 I added French Fries for a 1.50 extra. My wife ordered a Small BLT Sub and Chips for 6.99. One thing on the menu is they will let you build your own sandwich. We met the owner Romanico which was very friendly and talkative. Our food came out in a reasonable time. All our food was hot and very good. My Pastrami Sandwich on Rye was packed full, and the Mustard kicked it up a notch. French Fries were hot and done perfect. My wife's BLT was hot, very good and she loved the bread. These were solid sandwiches for sure. I would have given this place 5 stars, but the interior needs improved. I truly believe some of the most unassuming exteriors have the best food inside. Wicked Good deli lives up to their name and serves some of the freshest hottest sandwiches I've ever had. We opted in for the 12" Steak Bomb Sandwich (special on Saturday for $8.99) and the Chicken Parmesan sandwich. They were big. I could have got away with the 6" and been plenty full. Note for next time! They have so many options that looked great, the loaded potatoes looked amazing and I'm interested to try next time. The only two things I was disappointed in was that their tables were pretty messy and ketchup bottles were empty - you can tell they were busy that day.
