This is a hidden deli gem! We were in the area visiting my son who attends FGCU and in need for a breakfast/lunch spot, so glad we found this place! Lots of parking in the lot, not much going on around however definitely worth checking out if you're craving something good breakfast or a sandwich. The establishment isn't too big however they do offer some benches and a few areas where you can enjoy your food, most people seem to place an order for take out. They are cashless, and have a cute gender neutral restroom. I went with their Jersey special breakfast sandwich and added egg to it, wow so delicious, being from NJ myself I'm always looking for a great Taylor ham sandwich without having to visit back up north.. my fiancé got their Cheech & Chong and loved it! My son and his gf had the Wally's cheesesteak and Sedona sunrise and both VERY GOOD. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Very excited to have found this place and we will definitely come back soon for breakfast and or lunch! read more

Wally's just charged me $13 for a 10 inch sub that had one thin piece of turkey. Couldn't eat it because it had sand or dirt in the lettuce. Took one bite and my teeth were grinding on something and had a horrible taste. Im guessing the lettuce was not washed. First and last visit here. Dont waste your money. read more

A lot of great options, but the flavor falls flat, my orders have often been done incorrectly, and it is incredibly expensive for a sandwich. Last order: breakfast sandwich and a plain chick sandwich, two french fries, no drinks--costed me like 37$ (cant remember how much but it was above 30$). I order my sandwich with one of their sauces (i think chipotle), and the sandwich had no sauce. I thought the sandwich, because it is a steak sandwich, was going to come in a roll or be a pretty decent size, but it was on a pretty small kaiser roll. The french fries were okay--they could be better if made with canola as opposed to vegetable oil. My brother thought the chicken tenders were way too dry. Yup, it was an OK experience, but you are paying a premium for that OK experience. Better to go to wawa down the road and get the same sandwich and fry combo for like 13$. I understand the difficulty of running a small business in this economy, but i believe this place needs to revamp its options, get orders correct, and reinvigorate the quality it had when it first opened). Maybe try a food truck at FGCU like they are starting to do? Re-engage with our alma mater. Best of luck! We use yelp which we love and saw this place advertised and showed menu items that were three different vegan entrées plus add salads. Well, we drove 20 minutes pulled in and was told oh that's old. We don't have that anymore. It's listed in Yelp is having it. It's listed in Google. Owners are going up there. They really need to take down the old ones so that people don't waste their time showing up. So this is just a heads up that there is no vegan options at this restaurant no matter what it says. read more

I was finally able to try Wally's for my 1 day postpartum breakfast. I had been wanting to try Wally's for quite some time so I'm glad I finally got the chance. I absolutely needed this. I think my favorite was the Sunday funday. It's so thick and has so many flavors: crispy chicken (could have been crispier), hot honey (yum), bacon, hash brown (just the right amount of crunch) and American cheese. I will definitely be coming back to try their lunch sandwiches and wraps, they look amazing. The lady who took my order over the phone was so sweet and our order was ready within 10 minutes. I can't speak too much about the ambiance because we got takeout but it's in the same strip as wicked wings and things and the curb appeal is lacking. It's so inconspicuous you would just drive right past it and the parking lot itself needs some serious work due to the pavement being a mess. Overall, the food is worth it! read more

To preface this review, I hate writing this. Back in the day I used to love this spot. However, the last 3 times I have been there the experiences have been very similar, not in a good way. Today I ordered the "hangover" sandwich. First of all, they wrapped it in a wheat tortilla, not a Keizer roll it's supposed to come on. Secondly, the bacon was missing entirely, and the hash brown I asked for on the side was nowhere to be found either. When I brought this to their attention, they said it would be taken care of. Imagine the disappointment when I open the sandwich wrapping to find the bacon was just thrown in the wrapping instead of being properly placed on the sandwich. It honestly felt like they didn't care about the mistake at all. To top it all off, the sandwich was COLD. The person making the sandwiches needs better training. This is not acceptable especially for the prices they charge. I was extremely disappointed with my experience and won't be coming back again to this place again. read more

We stopped in for lunch after our plane landed in Fort Myers, based on Yelp! reviews. Between the four of us we sampled 3 different sandwiches-the Rueben, Cuban and turkey club. All were generous with the fillings and tasty! The staff was friendly, even though closing time was fast approaching. There is hardly any seating. We took all the stools below the shelf at the front window. There were 3 small tables that only seated 2 each! Definitely more of a takeaway shop for the local warehouses and industrial corridor nearby. The plaza parking lot is full of potholes and the plaza looks sketchy, but for a takeout sandwich joint it's pretty good! read more

I would have given Wally's 5 stars but my sub had no dressings on it. I didn't know the sandwiches came dry and I wasn't offered mayo or mustard packets with my order :( The soprano sub was good but needed condiments to take it up a notch. A hangover's worst nightmare or best friend I can't tell. This college town deli is pretty amazing. The menu is massive and has just about every sandwich combo you can dream of. It's a lot to take in, so don't feel the need to rush yourself. All the prices range from about $6-$9 for breakfast and $9-$12 for lunch. What really puts it over the top is the service. One guy was running the show this morning and he was amazing. They make you wait for you food outside for social distancing but he bags everything up and brings it right out to you! Seriously awesome. We ordered the burrito and the hangover sandwich. Both of these bad boys come with hash browns...and to be honest that's why we ordered them. The standard cheese on the hangover is American so we swapped that for Cheddar. There is no where to eat at Wally's (unless you are in the mood to chill on a parking curb) and so we took our goodies home. Not very good, I had a cheesesteak and it wasn't very good at all had to choke down the sandwich just to finish it. It tasted like they cooked the meat with some kind of Cheyenne pepper spice and used a ton of it. The bread was soggy and the cheese they use is not the best either. First, I orders 3 sandwiches and a side of french fries for my family of five and honestly I wasn't sure if that was going to be enough as we all eat pretty well but the subs are HUGE! Packed with meat! No need to ask for double meat here! We ordered the chicken bacon and ham and the cheat day which is a philly cheesesteak with french fries and cheese and they were both amazing! The service at Wally's is also great! The gentleman who took my order was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu, in fact, he was the one who recommended cheat day. Within 5 minutes after our orders, suddenly 10 cars pull in and the place is full. Thank God, most of orders were to go! My friend had the Cheese Steak Subs with a soda. The sliced steak with onions, peppers and mushrooms with Provolone were very tasty. I have the Cheech & Chong. Basically, it is sliced steak with chicken tenders, Provolone on a soft roll. The chicken tender is little on dry side. Otherwise, it is fine. I have a Kombucha gingerade. Love that ginger taste and hopefully refill my body with energy after a bad day in a nearby golf course! Yes, this is a deli but they are very creative with name. Since they are supporter of FGCU's Eagle. They have name like Dunk City Delight, Go H.A.M., John Webb legal Reuben or John Depew's Cuban, Chris Sale's Strikeout, Fat Guy Little Coat, Yolo , Cheat day, Cheech & Chong, Skinny Jeans, and Falafel en Fuego. We love their breakfast wrap called Uncle Jesse and Wu-Tang wrap but not so crazy about the Glazed and Confused. Yeap, that is eggs and bacon on a glazed donut! This is a nice local place to check out. They have a good variety of choices on the menu. You can go healthy or aim for a attack on a plate. I tend to lean to the unhealthy side. I tried the bacon and egg sandwich on a glazed doughnut. I have had these types of sandwiches at other places and have like them. This was on par with other ones I have tried. My only complaint would be it was a little dry. Maybe a little maple syrup on it would help. Partially the dryness was my fault though. I ordered the egg as scrambled instead of over easy like it normally is served. The runny yolk would have helped. I also tried a Cuban sandwich. This was very good. The slow roasted pork was tender and flavorful. The crisp pickles gave it an added crunch that I liked. One of the better Cuban sandwiches I have had in the area. read more

I work in the area and I stumbled across this joint. It's in a strip mall along Alico Road. The food was great and they were under Covid restrictions when we went. After ordering, we waiting in our car and they brought the food to us. The sandwiches were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. 10/10 will continue frequenting their spot. read more
