I can take a few minutes to write a survey / review. Plus I've been coming to PetSmart for years for my family dogs (s/o Cali & Apollo!) BUT this time is different as my visit was for my recently adopted kittens "I recently got two kittens and as a first time cat owner I did not own any cat supplies. I knew the basics that I would need but I got everything I needed and more from PetSmart! I was impressed with the selection of products and the cleanliness of the store. Friendly staff. I was asked if I needed help finding anything. Since I was getting a lot of supplies (more than I had anticipated), the staff kindly let me leave my full (and heavy) basket at the cash register so I could continue shopping without having to carry my basket all over. It really eased my way and provided a calmer shopping experience. The associate at the register informed me of the PetSmart app and helped me create an account which was easy as 1, 2, 3! She was nice and friendly! I felt nervous purchasing so many items and was worried about what other people might think... but the register lady was very kind and helped to load my shopping cart. I'm not sure if she could tell or sense I was nervous... but she eased my nerves by congratulating me on my kittens and asking about them (which I was more than happy to share!)" I have been frustrated elsewhere trying to get our picky dog the food he will eat and it has been here every time I go in. The store is also very clean, a little cluttered which is pet peave of mine, trying to navigate aisles and customers (and pets). Stores need to stop filling the aisles with product. (Past life I was a grocery manager). Employees in the store tend to ignore you, but the cashiers are polar opposite and make me leave with a smile.

During a recent pedicure at Angel Nails, I noticed the Zoom Room so I told my husband about it and he signed us up for a free intro class. Upon arrival we were greeted by the sweetest person and the front desk. She got us checked in and took our pup's first day photo - adorable. After getting checked in we waited and browsed their merchandise which included a lot of training treat options that we hadn't seen before. When it was time for class to begin, we got settled at our station. The trainer was kind and funny and taught us a few new things. Our puppy was very excited and interested in the other dogs but we eventually got her to pay attention to us about halfway through the class. Overall we had a good experience, but did find class to be a bit distracting with the various puppies and parents in attendance. We may consider returning for private training sessions in the future.

He has learned so much these past few months and is currently in advanced obedience, agility fundamentals, and tricks 1. We always look forward to our Zoom Room days and he met his best dog friend here as well! Such a great community of trainers and people and of course doggos. The puppy parties have been really fun as well and a nice way to connect with other zoom room members and fur babies.

I am writing this to warn other pet parents. On June 3rd, I dropped off my Maltipoo, Sophie, to be…read moregroomed by Josie at the Tanasbourne location (Store #254) When I picked her up at 10:30 AM, Josie informed me she couldn't complete the haircut because Sophie yelped whenever her tail was lifted. She added that she couldn't express Sophie's glands either, and suggested I have the vet do it. Concerned, I checked Sophie for injuries but didn't see any. When we got home, Sophie acted extremely strange. Normally full of energy and excited for her post-grooming treat, she instead lay flat on the floor with her eyes closed. She refused water, food, and treats. Later, she walked to the bedroom and just stared at the bed, unable to jump up. By 2:00 PM, she still hadn't moved, eaten, drank, or gone potty. I immediately scheduled the earliest possible vet appointment for the next morning. Following the vet's examination, I knew I needed to find out what happened to Sophie while in Petco's care. I tried reaching out to the store manager, Sarah, but she ignored me. I finally had to go to the store on my lunch break to find her and ask if there was camera footage. Sarah told me I would have to file a police report to see the video. During this conversation, she let it slip that the groomer told her Sophie had vomited and had diarrhea during the appointment. The groomer never mentioned this to me, and Sophie showed no signs of illness at home. If she was that sick, why didn't they stop the groom and call me immediately? When I asked for the District Manager's contact info, Sarah refused but promised to have her call me. The DM, Kalinda Harry, did reach out. She assured me she wanted to get to the bottom of this and asked for my vet documentation to discuss compensation. I agreed to give her time to conduct an internal investigation and review the video footage. After days of silence, I followed up with Kalinda on Monday the 15th to ask what she saw on the footage. She replied that she had watched it, but was still waiting on my vet records. I asked why she needed vet records just to tell me what happened on the video. After receiving no response, I forwarded her the appointment confirmation and receipt just to clear the hurdle, explicitly stating that I was not looking for financial compensation--I just want to know what happened to my dog. Since then, it has been total silence from Kalinda and corporate. To them, Sophie may just be a dog, but to me, she is family. I will not let this go until I get answers. Please think twice before leaving your fur babies at this location.

All locations should have this set up! The rest of the store is the same as other Petcos. Plenty of food, toys, beds, crates and accessories for your pets. Plus they have a grooming area and vet services. Located in Tannesborne Shopoing Center I fill up my litter jug while I'm in this area running other errands. Since most of the stores in aloud Center are fine, I often come out this way when I need to go to Marshalls, Old Navy, Ulta, Trader Joe's and Petco.

Extremely disappointing experience…read more I paid $300 including tip to have both of my dogs groomed at Cute Cuts. I specifically requested ears, nails, glands, and a wash. These dogs have been to this salon numerous times, and their previous groomer always did an excellent job, routinely complimented my dogs, and charged $60-$80 less for the same services. Unfortunately, that groomer is no longer there. After this appointment, I put the dogs in their kennels and went to bed because I work nights. The next day I noticed their nails were clicking loudly across the floor. I checked their ears and found that they clearly had not been cleaned either. Anyone familiar with Golden Doodles knows that their ears need regular attention because they are particularly prone to ear problems. I called five days later when I had time and left a voicemail explaining what I found. The owner, Phil, called me back and immediately told me it was "very unlikely" that his groomers had skipped any services. I sent him fresh, live iPhone photos of my dogs directly to his phone. Instead of being concerned about whether the services I paid for were actually performed or trying to make the situation right, the conversation seemed to be much more about avoiding a bad review. Phil insisted he was sure both dogs' nails had been done and refused to acknowledge the ear issue. He also told me he couldn't speak to an individual dog's nail growth over the course of a week. Let's be serious. One of my dogs, Charlie, was dragging his ass before the appointment and had an odor because his glands needed to be expressed. The ears and nails were very clearly not addressed. At that point, I'm left wondering what exactly was done besides putting my dogs in a bath. I paid $300 for two dogs and specifically requested multiple services. Based on what I found afterward, it sure feels like I paid $300 for a wash. The grooming itself was disappointing enough. The way the owner handled the complaint made it significantly worse. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I expected the services I specifically paid for to actually be performed. After being a repeat customer, I will not be returning, in any capacity.
