First time there, my coworker referred me ! Parking is crazy I would say. The lady started my toes her name was Jin. She was nice but she literally did my toes in 15 mins. 15 mins is insane. I'm paying $50 for pedicure, I need the job to be done correctly. Once she saw her old customer come in, she started rushing on my toes. I ask her for square, she gives me round shape on my toes. I usually tip big but unfortunately I couldn't tip her. I literally put money in the meter for 1 hour. She finish me in 15 mins. I would never go back. read more

This place is very nice and clean. The place is not chaotic like other places, very enjoyable.

I went on a Monday to get a pedicure... pedicure was good I would love to have 2-3 min more of a massage but anyways the cut, filing and polish was very nice. I asked for acrylic nails that look natural and they says yes! We have tips... so I got them done too ... the end up very nice ... natural, just beautiful... again the massage was very short but overall the mani pedi turn out to be very good. I'm very satisfied with my nails! And yes I was short For $25c in my Parking spot and kindly the manager went out and put some money on the meter :). read more

Bamboozled!!!! Third time I've been there, first time got tips and sms nail powder.Nice job.2nd time the same person did nails after my right hand had all nails fall off. They charged me extra without letting me know!!! Last visit 4/3/22 10 am-6pm The nails lasted 22-24 days n looked good but starting to loosen. I asked for 4:30 appt, asked to come at 4. Fine Plenty of time to do nails n change color. She took my old nails off I picked new color. Next thing I know she's rushing after taking tips off n putting color powder on NO TIPS! My nails were done n short! No tips! Reason "it's better for your nails!" No discussion no questions. Same person. I felt tricked n cheated! I realized I was the last one in n they could close early, They were all sitting there waiting! Idk if it's because I'm Spanish, or if I tip wrong? Yet I always make sure to give a decent amount and above usual. Bottom line their loss. I'm very angry and hate the way my nails look!!! read more

Update: I reviewed this spot too quickly. I went for sns & they only put 2 coats when normally every other spot I've gone to does 3. In addition, they wanted to get me out quicker so she put a gel top coat which was really annoying cause each one started to peel right off after I left leaving one finger looking really ugly cause it didn't have any other top clear coat. Needless to say / expect, my nails already started cracking & breaking approximately 2-4 days after getting this done. When my first one broke I called and they said they'll fix it no charge. It was just my luck that 3 more cracked the following day. I figured they'd blame me / not bother fixing it correctly, so I don't think I'll be back to this spot for SNS - not when it's $40 & they don't do a good job so that it lasts the full 2-4 weeks. It didn't even last me a full week prior to breaking!!! In addition, they are already starting to break Covid protocols.. they have approximately 5 chairs but they'll seat 3 people right next to each other which is really annoying & anxiety provoking!! I don't feel comfortable sitting next to other people when there are enough chairs to space everyone out! If there isn't enough space they need to stop booking so many appointments for the same time!! I think they're just too money hungry. read more

Best nail spa on tulip ave. They are friendly but not overly chatty. The best thing about them is their cleanliness, they use sterile disposable files and buffers. I watch them put all the equipment under the u.v light and before they use any utensils on you they wipe them down with alcohol wipes. I have to say, I am hard to please. No, really. For this place to get 4 stars, it's really saying something. The only reason it's not 5 is because it's not upscale and I've been to those, those are a pretty penny for a 5! I tried a few places down the block, I was not happy. They're experienced at Tulip and know what to recommend if you need it (not just to increase prices, the result is worth it ie. the hot wax pedicure treatment leaves you with baby soft feet). They're also clean and the owner is amicable and remembers you. They give you 50 cents in quarters for the meter at the front of the store for your convenience... C'mon! You know some stores in NYC won't let you buy something if you're missing a quarter, a dime, a nickel! They have the extra lasting polish for an additional $2, not $5 like down the block. Thought I would give this place a try since my regular place was not open on Sunday and it only has 2 reviews with 1-2 stars. Well now I'm regretting my decision. I should have listened to those reviews! I got a pedicure here and it was the fastest pedi I have ever experienced in my life. The only thing the lady asked me was "cut shorter?" I responded to her "yes a little". I had a pedi prior about 3 weeks ago so my nails have grown and they were already shaped correctly (square). I was watching her do my toes and noticed she was going super fast. Especially the top coat.. On one foot she didn't even dip the brush in the bottle for more paint and just did all five toes from one dip.. mind you my nails are not tiny. I was in the seat for about 10 minutes and the lady says "ok finish". When I went to sit at the drying station I examined my toes and realized they were all slanted!! The definition of square is all four sides are equal! If I wanted slanted nails I would've asked her for slanted!! The lady said she would it for me after the color was dry. She came back over a few minutes later and she didn't seem to understand what I was trying to tell her to fix.. I told her to file one corner shorter so that it's not slanted.. I finally gave up and told her to give me the file and I ended up reshaping my nails myself... think twice if you are thinking of going here unless u want to be rushed out and have slanted nails and waste your money. read more

I got a manicure pedicure with no nail polish, just wanted to clean my nails. I was charged an extra $10 to soak off my SNS powder gel I had on from before. I usually never get charged at other places to soak off or if I do it's never more than $5. So I felt that was unfair. Especially today because I did not even get any kind of nail polish done and I was still being charged the regular manicure pedicure price with or without nail polish and then an extra $10 to take off my nail polish from before. If I'm not even getting nail polish with my manicure pedicure I don't think it was necessary to bill me an extra $10 to soak off SNS powder from before. read more

Just awful. After a super delayed trip home on LIRR I was not going to make it to my normal salon before it closed so I figured why not? Pedicure lasted a total of 4 minutes. No cut cuticles, no scrubbing, my toe nails weren't even cleaned. I asked if she was going to cut them and she said she already did. At this point I got up to leave and paid her the $15 for "services" she performed. I then raced to my normal salon to have a real manicure and pedicure. My friend and I stumbled upon this place after having lunch from across the street. The decor was nice and welcoming. The staff is friendly. They even offer free parking by providing their clients with quarters for the meter. I had a gel manicure done. $25 is not bad. Pretty average. Susan, the lady who did my nails, was quick but experienced. No mistakes. The complimentary mini back massage was great also. Susan told me that this nail salon has been through many owners. This place is so new that their store sign still reflects the previous store's name. I will definitely go back and get more manicures and some pedicures. read more

What I love about this place is that just about all of the staff is SO friendly and I don't feel like I'm in a foreign land unable to speak the native language. My nails always look great when I leave, and the three or four women who have done my nails there gave me a really great massage, so if you can splurge on a spa pedicure, I say do it! read more

My first gel manicure from here was pretty good, no complaints other than the $35 price. However, upon my second gel manicure, I was very disappointed. The woman who did my nails was pretty rude and chastised me for picking black as a polish color. She also asked strange questions and was rude. She seemed to be rushing and while cutting my cuticles. She CUT me and I began to bleed. She cursed and grabbed this little blue bottle of liquid and applied it to my cut with a cotton swab. I cannot explain how much it BURNED. I was clearly upset but she did not apologize or even acknowledge the mistake. She applied the gel and as I was curing the polish in the machine she abruptly got up to wax someone's eyebrows. That was the last I saw of her. No goodbye. Another lady (I believe she was the manager) came by and finished my manicure in a very rushed and annoyed fashion. I gave her $40 and told her to keep the change and left. My cuticle still has a nasty scab over a week later. I will not be returning even though the location is ideal for me. read more
