I tried calling the establishment to express my concerns and see what's going on, but couldn't get a hold of anyone and the mailbox is full. Anyways, the Dude, one of their signature drinks, has completely gone down hill! No flavor. I thought it was a fluke the last time I was there, but we went back today and got our order (hot dude and frozen dude with chocolate drizzle instead of Carmel), and it's still so very bland! The Dude I remember was HOT, not luke warm, and so full of flavor. Now it just tastes like warm milk with no sort of flavor to it. So to end, please bring back the old recipe for the Dude, and please go back to hot coffees, not warm coffees, the temperature makes a huge difference, too. read more

I was unimpressed w/outside and thought -ugh-just another shopping strip, no character coffee place next to Anytime Fitness. But once I got through door, I smiled. Coffee refills aren't free. Water isn't free, save for a small cup and dispenser set up near the front counter. The music they play is shitty and it's loud. Various church and office groups show up to take over entire sections for meetings best held at their respective offices. Best coffee in New Braunfels! I worked here for several months and can not say enough good things about this business and the owners. The coffee is wonderful quality, the service is quick (while still making sure your order is made correctly) and the vibes are immaculate. Every drink and fresh made pastry I've tried are delicious. Such a great local coffee spot! I was so in the mood for something a little bit sweet but not to sweet after my dinner at Myron's...and to my surprise I had the best Iced Chai EVER!!! I mean I've had many of Chai's hot & cold but this one was by far the BEST!!! Maybe it was that I just was in the mood for it but I really think it was because it was really that GOOD!!! Not to mention the Barista who I chatted with for a bit was the nicest young lady!! She was kind, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, which we discussed a bit. The menus are beautiful with such detail to old school magazines, to the pictures in them, to the block lettering, to the "look of the mailing label" on the menu...to it all !!! Nice work on the menus!!! The ambiance in this establishment is peaceful, with beautiful greenery that starts up high with ivy and other plants that cascade down that your eye is just drawn to it. So pretty!! The other cool vibe about this spot is the modern art style decor, the records, the record player, the old school TV, the Polaroid pictures, the VHS movies, just everything about it is fun, impressive, attractive, and just inviting! Great eye for detail! Lots of seating. I noticed several customers studying and laptops out. Great place to get some work done or read a book, or maybe just sit and visit with someone or sit an gather your thoughts, listen to some cool music! So glad I stopped! This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shops I've ever been in! They have redecorated recently and the place is SOOO CUUUTTEE. The coffee menu is also very good. They offer standard drinks along with a specialty menu, pastries, and teas as well. Our drinks were delicious- not too strongly flavored and you can tell they make an effort to prepare the coffee at an elevated standard. I believe they also roast their own beans because they sell giant bags of beans on the shelves of their merch wall. They offer many outlets if you want to study or bring a chargeable device. It's just all-around great. The music was the perfect volume, there's lots of healthy looking plants... I've gone to this coffee shop for many years and I've had many versions of customer service there. Today, was not good. I ordered 3 kolaches and when I got them they were soggy with a lukewarm outside and cold on the inside. When they were ready I was sitting down and before they would walk out and call it out and find the person they're for. Today they barely called out "kolaches" and placed them in front of another customer at the register. I walked up to the counter and had to reach precariously around to grab them from in front of the customer and ask the barista (who was daydreaming at the espresso machine) if they were mine, which snapped them out of it and informed me they were mine. Really disappointed about this experience. I'll go back but the way things have been there I won't be recommending this place to anyone. read more

Ugh... So I work closeby and thought this place would be great to stop by. I've given them multiple tries (4 at least) and darn it if they failed to get my order right every time. And It's not like I went through the drive through either. I didn't order multiple drinks and they literally were standing around talking when I walked in, so they weren't busy. Multiple times I've watched them punch in the wrong order right in front of me. I don't say anything because I shouldn't have to! Then one time the barista had the audacity to ask if I was gonna tip!
