Worth the drive! I got a great pedicure at a reasonable price. Hard to find in the DMV sometimes. They had the standard selection of OPI and Essie polish, but my tech was great. Detailed pedicure, nice scrub, great leg/foot massage, and while my toes were drying she gave me a neck/back massage. I was in heaven. Probably the best pedicure I have had. My 8 year old daughter and i stopped in the late afternoon. It was just sue there. She took so much time with my daughter and added little gems on her big toes. I soaked my feet in the water and enjoyed the great massage chair while waiting. She was so meticulous with the polish on both of us. For me, there was the scrub, hot rock massage, hot towel, scraping and massage of legs. Then when I was under the nail dryer she came over with the hot rock and worked on my back and shoulders for a bit. This was all part of the standard pedicure.. Not the spa treatment. Totally worth $33. I even bought a gift certificate for my mom for mother's day. Sue is very nice, the place is very clean and the care taken was incredible! read more

I have yet to find a nail salon in the DMV where I don't feel like I'm just a number and rushed through my service...until now. I should start by saying I went on a Friday afternoon (probably not the busiest time) but when I walked in no one was there. Typically this would be a red flag for me but the space of small, impeccably clean and the previous Yelp reviews looked promising. Per usual I was asked what services I would like (Mani + Pedi) and asked to pick my colors. I am a little OCD when it comes to organization so I have to say that I LOVED their nail polish shelf; it was incredibly neat and arranged by color, down to the hue even! They also had my personal two favorite brands OPI and Essie. I decided to try out the OPI Infinity Shine (which I believe was $5ish extra dollars) for my manicure out of curiosity. By the time I had picked my colors the water and my technician, Tina, were ready. Not only did Tina take her time will doing my pedicure but she also used hot stones! I have to say that their chairs are great too and the remote was not falling apart (a pet peeve of mine). The basic manicure was also wonderful and again Tina took your time and the polish came out beautifully. At the end I was escorted to the drying table where I received a final shoulder/back massage, it was a wonderful last touch. Tina was kind enough to set a timer for me and I was off at my 10 minutes. Although 2 Sweet Nail Spa is out of my way, I will definitely be making the drive to come back here again! read more

This is my second nail salon I've tried in the area looking for a place that I can make regular. I really liked the outside appearance to begin with and when I went in it was quaint and very quiet. There were 2 other women getting nails done which was nice that it wasn't busy or packed. Both customers seemed to be regulars and that's always reassuring. I got my regular gel mani and pedi and had 2 different technicians for them. I have to say I'm very happy with the experience and results. The women were very friendly and professional. The place itself is clean, organized and set up very well. The actual gel quality isn't the best I've seen or had myself but I am happy with the actual process. My pedicure was relaxing and she spent a great amount of time with me and great attention and care to the service itself. Overall I recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable mani/pedi also with pretty decent pricing. read more

Very disappointing experience. I felt like an annoyance from the moment I walked in, even though I had called ahead for the appointment. The gel manicure that I received was so rushed that three of my nails did not dry properly and looked horrible. I was told to return the next day to have them fixed, but living 30 minutes away this was not an option. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

2 Sweet is a cute little spot that is tucked in the corner behind a 7-11. My friend took me here for my birthday and treated me to a manicure. I don't typically get my nails done because I always end up chipping them so quickly. However, I was beyond surprised when TWO weeks after having my nails done they still looked pretty good! They also give you a 10 minute shoulder massage as your nails dry which is heavenly. I would definitely recommend making an appointment long before showing up, they are usually pretty busy. read more

This place was nice the first time I went in, but during my most recent visit, the aesthetician seemed rushed and annoyed that I was there. She filed the gel nail polish off my feet so aggressively that she cut my skin so that it bled, which she seemed not to notice, and it continued to bleed and sting from all the other chemicals she applied. Later the cut got infected, despite my efforts to clean it with rubbing alcohol and antibiotic cream at home. I will not be back. read more

I am new to the area and was searching for a nail salon to call home. I chose 2 Sweet Nail Spa a couple weeks ago because of all the great reviews and it's proximity to my home. I wish I could say that my experience was as good as what I read, but I came to realize (too late), that a lot of these reviews are older and management and most likely the technicians have changed. I did receive a GREAT pedicure by Sara, who also did my eyebrows...but I don't have many positives to say about the manicure provided by Sophia or the price paid. (Listed as $$, was more like $$$ due to new pricing). Where to begin...she did not use any electric tools, just a nail file to rough up my gel manicure (until the very end), insisted they only offered liquid gel no powder (like every other salon...and they charged $40 for it)...she took great care to dry my nails between each coat of gel, but then proceeded to layer on three coats of polish one on top of the other with no drying in between (smudged immediately) and insisted I sit under the hand dryer for what ended up being 15 minutes or so after). My nails were still tacky when I left and full of nicks and smudges...they were ruined before I even got to show them off and I paid a fortune. On top of all that, she nicked three or four of my cuticles once she did start using the dremel tool and I had sores on my fingers for a good week or so. I really wanted to like this place and the ladies there, but could never bring myself to go back after the shoddy work done on my hands. The three stars are for the pedicure only. read more

I live right near here but had never tried it before. I came in a Sunday for a manicure and was the only customer in the salon for most of my appointment. I give this place 5 stars for cleanliness, professionalism, and the awesome back massage I received while my nails were drying. The ladies that work here were extremely nice and extra attentive. I left the salon with pretty nails and a smile on my face. I will definetly be returning. read more

Sue was absolutely amazing. I got a new job in the Tysons area and really wanted to find a good nail place. I read great reviews about how this was a "hidden gem" and I could not agree more. I went in during a lunch break and I got a gel manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure did take almost a full hour so I made an appointment to come back after work. The gel manicure has lasted me over two weeks. This nail place is a little pricey but it is TRULY worth it. I've tried practically every nail salon in the Tysons/Vienna/Oakton/Fairfax area but this is by far my favorite. They take their time and their work is amazing. Worth every penny and every minute of my time. It stinks that it's small with only three stations for manicures and three pedicure chairs, but it's about quality, not quantity. They may do nails well, but stay away from the waxing. The price was not low but they used cheap soft wax and cheap pore clogging mineral oil afterward which resulted in a horrible break out, almost all of my hairs were ingrown, which has never happened to me before. This will have been the last time I take a chance on a low-end place just because it's close to home.. read more
