10/3/22 After being lie to by Asva-Walks, I was on my way out of the mall when I saw this shop. I had seen it on Saturday and decided to try them outfit thirty minute foot massage. I also decided to get a manicure because I am over due. The foot massage was great, but the time went by to quickly. I did learn that waxing us available for men and women. The only thing not covered for waxing for men is the Full Brazilian. Only women get this pleasure. Also, if you get a full leg waxing, full leg doesn't cover below the ankle. Not sure I like this philosophy. The manicure was a very basic one and I was in and out of that in about 15 minutes. MAY-TE, my nail technician opened up new pack in front of me, but I am not sure if she changed the water bowl for soaking one's nails. My fault for not being observant on this issue. The place is well lit and looks clean. I do think Saran Wrap should be used for the bowls so there is less contamination between clients. Will I come back here to try out the waxing. Yes, I think so. I just realized (with the polish chipping off) that she filed my nails down super thin underneath. No wonder why they are so brittle now! Worst nail place in Tyson's. My daughters went today to get their nails removed and both technicians were so rude to them. They treated them like they don't belong there. They hurt their fingers cutting it too short and they were so dirty as well. While doing other customers pedicure they touched my daughter's hands with it without washing it first. When my daughter asked to wash her hand she snapped at her. We are so disappointed and disgusted by these 2 nail technicians as well as this place. "HORRIBLE"! I tried this nail salon on July 3 while killing time in Tyson's Corner. It was a huge mistake and waste of $70! Initially, I thought the gentleman that was doing my nails was just taking his time and being meticulous. No! He didn't know what he was doing. My toes had polish all around cuticles and looked vert sloppy. The same continued with my gel manicure. I had to clean up the polish and properly trim my cuticles when I got home. This nail salon is located on the upper level next to Nordstrom. I scheduled my appointment with Kathy and I have nothing but good feedback. When I got there, I showed her reference photos and she was really great at helping me find a polish that matched what I wanted. I asked for a coffin shape with a matte polish and that is exactly what she gave me. The nail tips are applied straight and the acrylics are not too thick. I've been to other salons that have given me crooked nails and acrylics so thick that the shape gets lost, but not here. So, if you want great acrylics at a reasonable price, I definitely recommend Kathy. I will for sure be coming back from now on! read more

I sent my partner here to get her nails done while I was at work. She wanted basic French tips. She came back and the tips were done so badly. When she came back to me it looked like the nails were ALREADY grown out. The white polish didn't even cover the tip nail and get real tips were VERY visible, they didn't use a pink gel up make it blend better. I could tell it was rushed. Almost $70 later I was offensively mad and sent her back to have them fixed which they agreed to do. The entire time she was there getting them fixed she was berated and told that it was HER FAULT for not giving the nail tech, Mynh it Mindy, a reference picture. What seasoned nail tech needs a reference picture for French tips? She threatened to charge her AGAIN to have them redone, then said she would do it this one time but not again. Trust me, there won't be a next time. The job was absolute shit, and the customer service was even worse. My girlfriend ended up just getting black because she wasn't confident in the basic work they were asked to do. She felt awful the entire time. The experience was awful. How do you treat customers that way? I can deal with inexperienced nail techs, practice makes perfect, but that treatment is unacceptable. read more
