I had to come for the infamous Classic Cheeseburger ($2.90) that is "cheaper than a subway ride." There's plenty of seating here as well, which was nice. The burger is more of a slider, so you'd probably want a couple to make it a meal. Nonetheless, it's a damn good value and the perfect little snack. The burger itself is done well with the juicy patty, caramelized onions, and slightly melted cheese between two fluffy buns. Great cheap food. Burgers are solid but small (you get what you pay for). Last time I tried the breakfast and thought the 20g scrambler was great (think bfast loaded tots), but a lot of stuff like the sausage and other bagel flavors were already sold out (or they didn't restock?) I also got Seoulful spread but it didn't have any of the ingredients (like cucumber, vinegar, sesame seeds) that it said it would on the menu. I assume they ran out of those ingredients as well. 20g-riddle (brown sugar pancake bfast sandwich) is yummy but I only had a bite. I would imagine that it'd be too much sweetness from the hotteok for me. There's restrooms in the back. Service is good. Lots of seats indoors, some outdoor seating. read more

Haven't been in a while but consistently great sliders and today I tried the fries (usually go light on the carbs and pass). Regular small fries and a small bulgogi fries .... Service was great, friendly and quick. It's a quick stop, clean tables serve yourself type of spot. Prices have increased.. but let's be real everything has gone up! Still worth the $2.90 for the regular slider while the specialties feel a little steep at $4.50. The portion of regular fries for 4$ was just ok... and I think I'll pass next time. Bulgogi fries were delicious... but also a little steep topping in at 10$...(lucky my friend got em so I could try!) Great selection of canned and bottled drinks.. I def made a bad choice... trying to go with a no sugar added option... but that's totally on me (I'll blame my margarita addiction). The menu has changed since I came to 20 Gram Cafe last year. They still have the hamburger and cheese burger, but they added a few other options as well. The only one I was interested in trying was the Spicy Boy Burger ($3). It included Cheddar cheese, onion, sriracha ketchup, and jalapeno which adds a great kick. Definitely going to keep getting these if they remain on the menu! For the price, I think these sliders are totally worth buying. There is plenty of seating and 2 bathrooms in the back. read more

Really nice addition to Jubilee downstairs-- 20 Gram serves up burgers, fries, ramen, and they even have a test kitchen for adventurous eaters. On my most recent visit, I decided to try their fried enoki sando ($4) which came with tempura-battered enoki topped with slaw and a spicy gochujang-based mayo. I liked the crispiness of the enoki but I thought they would have served it in white bread the way sandos are usually served in. Instead, they opted for the regular burger bun. I also would have liked a bit more slaw as it got a little dry towards the end. I have previously tried their classic smashburgers (now $2.75) which are a nice post-shopping treat. Don't let the price or size fool you, these burger sliders pack serious quality and flavor. I had the double patty cheeseburger slider and was highly satisfied. I usually add mustard to my burgers, but their house sauce was so good, it made mustard completely unnecessary. As much as I wanted to eat an exorbitant amount of them, I had to practice some self-control. I was having an afternoon in Greenpoint and decided to come here. I definitely find this place to fall under the category of... You come to this place because of how cheap the food is, and not something you go out of your way to come and get. The cheeseburger slider was only $2.55 which is obviously extremely cheap and the fries were I believe only $4 for a side. I also got the "Sticky Umami" Wings and they were $10, by far the most expensive thing on the menu. The burger tasted like a $2.50 burger, it wasn't bad by any means but it didn't wow me by any means either. The special sauce was heavy on the ketchup so it was a bit too much for me but that's defintely personal preference. I don't love McDonald's fries but the fries here felt like a slightly less seasoned and less crispy version here. The wings were by far the standout here. I honestly thought they were cooked to absolute perfection. They were steaming hot and one of the juiciest wings ive had in a very long time, you could see the juice bubble up as you took a bite into it. Its expensive considering you can buy a pack for that amount BUT it's a good option for thos qho do not want to commit to a whole pack and would like to try one out. After seeing 20 Gram Cafe all over my social media feeds, I had to see what was up with the sliders. My order consisted of multiple sliders (size shown in my photo), a tuna melt, hot wings, tater tots, and French fries. I really should've eaten my order inside the cafe or inside my car cuz fried potatoes do not travel well. Unfortunately, the tuna melt was missing from my order so I wasn't able to try it, but that gives me another reason to return in the future. The sliders were bigger than I was expecting and came with plenty of pickles and lots of cooked onion--a dream come true tbh. Most places either skimp on the shaved onion and/or char them way too much. Compared to the onion burger at Hamburger America, I'd say the onions here are sliced thicker. The hot wings came out a little dark however this didn't affect the taste and they were surprisingly good and well salted on the outside, like better than my nearby diner or pizza parlor wings. The fries steamed a little on the drive home and were standard shoestring. Not sure if it was the fry oil (too clean or just not for my palate) but I didn't care for the fries. To round out my meal, I grabbed two drinks from the Jubilee Market side: a canned sparkling coconut water with no added sugar from Strange Water and an Aura Bora cardamom lime sparkling water.
