The dentist makes me nervous regularly but everyone here, down to the front desk staff has been wonderful & out going! This is my second visit with this dental place, my first visit at this location because their new location was closed for some reason. I'm not sure who the dentist that did my cleaning this time was but she was horrible! Never have I felt so much pain getting a cleaning before mind u I love getting cleanings as they are painless. She was rushing and left my teeth/ gums very bloody which is not normal because I have never bled like that after any cleaning before! Never coming back here again. DO NOT GET YOUR CROWNS DONE HERE! They did a terrible job for my uncle and father. Within a couple years, the both of them had to get the dental work fixed by another dentist. It might be okay for cleanings but I would not get any MAJOR procedures done here. They even tried to upsell my dad and say he needed to replace some of his bottom teeth. However my dad got a second opinion from another place and that dentist said he was fine! Unfortunately, the dentist at 21 Dental Group seems to have no qualms about LYING to their patients to get money. read more

I'm seething. I never do reviews but this is something I feel is important for anyone looking into coming here for dental care. A while back I went in for a check-up and cleaning, did a lot of waiting but I didn't mind. I figured with the pandemic, things are a bit hectic. I thought I had an appointment with Dr.Vo, but after waiting in the patient chair for 30-40 minutes, I found out I was with Dr. Dang. I hadn't seen either before, so I didn't mind either way. There was also an intern assisting her (I'm guessing? We were never introduced). After the check-up, which was uncomfortable and a bit forceful, I was told I had three cavities. Looking at the shock on my face, Dr. Dang assured me they were small cavities, no big deal. I've never had a cavity in my life, let alone multiple, so I was taken aback but I trusted her. I also took X-rays, clumsily done by the intern, which to this day, I've yet to see despite my requests to view them. I made an appointment afterwards to get the fillings done. I ended up cancelling the appointment once I realized how uncomfortable I was with that experience. I decided to make an appointment at an office closer to where I live that also accepted my insurance. Turns out, I have NO cavities. NONE. They actually commended me on the shape my teeth were in (plus, I got to see my X rays to confirm their statements). While I was relieved to find out that was the case and that I didn't have any cavities after all, I was fuming that I had been lied to. I'm so glad I trusted my intuition, or else this practice would have drilled into my perfectly fine teeth for no reason other than to bill my insurance. How dare you deceive your patients and put them through unnecessary procedures so you could make a profit..I'm absolutely sick to my stomach. This is supposedly a family business, how heartbreaking that you would do this to people who need your help, during a PANDEMIC no less. Please believe the ones on this page giving negative reviews suggesting malpractice or insurance fraud. They're telling the truth. I urge anyone seeking new dentistry to NOT make an appointment here if you want an honest, ethical experience and good healthcare professionals you can trust. read more

I've been going to this dental office for a few years now and I've found the service of the front desk staff to be very friendly and professional. Dr. Vo and the other dentist are both good at what they do. I am normally scared whenever any dentist work on my teeth and I would squeeze my legs together real tight while sitting in the operating chair. My teeth are super sensitive due to receding gum line and I feel the pain instantly when any dental tool touch near the base of the exposed teeth. I've had fillings done here where I didn't even know the dentist has finished the work because I felt no pain during the procedure. I also had my broken crown replaced here and it was done with precision and looked very natural (you can't even tell it's a crown, looks like normal tooth). I felt like the dentist did an excellent job on my crown because my prior crown did not look nearly as good as this one. I did not have any language barrier as everyone in the office spoke English well. I would say give them a try and start with something simple like a teeth cleaning or a filling to see how you like their service. read more

Found out from my previous dentist that I needed fillings and a crown, I decide to give this office a try and I'm glad I did, Dr. Dang was really nice and I like that she took her time to explain the procedure to me, she told me that I might need a root canal after my crown delivery if I was to experience sensitivity after. I was nervous hearing that but Dr. Dang told me it's a possibility and she only wanted to inform me so that there wont be any surprises. I appreciate that and the front desk was able to breakdown my copay quickly so that I didn't have to wait long. Dr. Dang really took her time with my fillings and crown. I have been using 21 dental offices for years. The first time Dr. Vo did it for me. I liked her very much. But the second time and up I always have Dr DANG do the cleaning for me and I felt DANG not only has poor skills but also has an even wore attitude. I always give chance to people. I thought she was a newbie. So, I tolerated her and accepted her services, and she will be getting better later. Sometimes she was so rough, and I told her that needs to be gentle a little bit. But She was not facing up to her abilities and she was not happy and keeps in mind my complaint. And one time after the cleaning she said no polish this time and she left. But the money I paid included that! I thought she might be so busy. FINE! After this recent worse incident, my tolerance has reached the bottom line. I paid $280 for cleaning and Xray. After the cleaning DANG left quietly without saying a word. I ran out to the office to ask if I had paid for the X-Ray and why I did not get that. I am completely disappointed with them. Despite all the other negative reviews, my experience at this location was superb. Although Dr. Dang was very busy with a lot of patients, she was quick and accurate! My previous filling chipped off and I was having sensitivity problem with my tooth. I came here from Arizona as a recommendation from a relative and I did not regret the decision. My experience at this location was not only one of the best but the cost was cheap as well! Dr. Dang explained all the problems with my teeth and offered solutions to them, but did not proceed without my confirmation. The receptionist was really helpful, gave her my insurance information and she was able to break it down to me on my coverage and co-pays. The day of my appointment went pretty smooth, I was nervous but Dr.Vo was gentle and she explained everything in detail so I knew what was going on. I can easily say I had the worst experience at a dentists office here. Walking in the staff was friendly and attentive, however it took a little while just to be seen by the dentist. As it was my first time there, I expected an introduction or more of an in depth examination. Unfortunately, that was near what I experienced. The dentist walks in turns to look at my face immediately sits down and gestures for me to open my mouth. No introduction not even a slight word. This wasn't the least of problems during my visit. I've had dentists as they're doing a check up tell you what they're going to do to you. She kept doing things that I was unaware of and in the end didn't even tell me what was wrong??? I had to ask one of the assistants what did I have, or what did she find. Of course he told me, but shouldn't it come from the Dentist if that is there office? Will not be returning. I understand language barriers do interfere with their patients however this was far from that. read more

Even though I might not had understood what she was saying regarding my treatment because of the language barrier I was happy she got one of her staff to break it down for me. Half of my tooth broke when I was eating a honey covered biscuit from Churches Chicken! It was rock hard. When I came to the office to get my treatment, the staff was friendly, and the doctor was very gentle. I felt no pain, and she restored it to the original shape. However, it felt a little rough after, so my tooth was polished to have the enamel feel. If you are not satisfied, just let the doctor or staff know, and they will help you. I was extremely happy about my tooth, and I was relieved from worries about cavities forming on my broken tooth. Definitely try them out! read more

I have to admit that I was a little hesitant in making an appointment because of the bad review but since I live around the area and my husband was having a really bad toothache I decide to give this place a try. And I'm glad I did!! The front desk was really helpful in answering some of our questions regarding insurance coverage and when it came down to the treatment, Dr. Dang was amazing!! I would have to say this is one of the best dentist I had been to. They are such extremely nice people in there. They always smiling and friendly. I always been afraid of the dentist, so I'm fairly picky. It's clean and roomy. No funky smell. They are gentle. And #1 while they were cleaning my teeth they didn't drown me with water and made me chock. Alot of dentist that I been to just makes me gag with water because they don't know how to or when to suction the water out. #2 they are not pushy on sales. I hate dentist that sales you tons of products you don't really need. #3. They CARE! They explain everything to me. Exam my xray what I need for better for my gums and teeth. I have known all along the importance of visiting a dentist regularly and the fact that I need to take good care of my teeth to remain healthy, yet I used to HATE to visit a dental office...UNTIL I found 21 Dental. With above said, when I first got to 21 Dental (it's right about a year ago), my teeth were in PRETTY bad shape. Doctor Vo approached me patiently and professionally. She didn't mind the fact that I wasn't taking good care of my teeth and made AMAZING recommendations as to what needed to be done. Different from a lot of other doctors, she did NOT give me a list a mile long with an invoice over thousands of dollars. Instead she divided the dental work I needed in to two categories-"urgent ones" and "not so urgent" ones. She immediately worked on the serious problems that needed treatment right away and gave me the time and option to save up $ gradually for those that could wait. Right there and then, I was so impressed with Doctor Vo's intergrity and professionalism and decided to stick to this dental office. Time has proven I made the BEST decision :-) It's been almost a year since I've started going to 21 Dental, and let me just say that EVERY SINGLE ONE visit turned out to be SUPER pleasant (I KNOW, hard to imagine it happening in a dental office RIGHT?) I've had a lot of work done here: teeth cleaning, fillings, teeth extractions, and later on I also decided to have my braces too, and NEVER have doctors and staff members at 21 Dental ceased to amaze me with their knowledge, care, patience, and above all RESPECT for every patient. So much said, you might wonder what do I like about 21 Dental so much? My answer is "what's there not to like?" :) Kkkkkk, it sounds a little vague, so I am going to list the main reasons I LOVE this office so much below!!! 1) Doctor Vo takes PRIDE in caring and treating her patients. --- As to how great she is, I can go on FOREVER. Let me just give you a small example and you will know what I mean. I have pretty sensitive teeth and after extraction the bleeding goes on longer than average patients. Doctor Vo told me to call her in the evening if I didn't feel comfortable or if there's still excessive bleeding. I didn't think it would happen but unfortunately it did: the bleeding just wounldn't stop and my parents got all worried. We gave her a call and she had me back to the office when it's already AFTER HOURS. As soon as I arrived, she dropped what she was doing and focused on helping me to stop the bleeding. With her help, my bleeding finally stopped. Though to Doctor Vo it might be nothing out of the ordinary, but to me as a patient I felt EXTREMELY thankful :) I felt lucky to have found this office and to have met Doctor Vo. 2) EVERYONE is so nice and friendly in the office and treats the patients with great respect. --- I've got to meet some exceptional staff members and dental assistants this past year and it's amazing how everyone is so professional and helpful. It kinda reflects on the value of 21 dental that they truly care for each patient! I recently met Doctor Dang who is an AWESOME new addition to the team, and she's in charge of my ortho treatment. Same as Doctor Vo, Doctor Dang keeps on impressing me with her knowledge and professionalism too. (It's so cute that when she works on tightening my braces, from my angle it feels like she's solving a math problem on my mouth :) and that's how serious she is! ^^) 3) REASONABLE PRICE. --- Well I have to admit that I am really CHEAP (cheap as in coupon geek kinda thing). However even as a cheap guy I know low price could lead to poor quality. At 21 Dental, it's low price = excellent quality, and you can imagine my instant LOVE for this place LOL. Also bear in mind that 21 dental offers dental services and treatments with some of the most modern and sophisticated equitments and facilities AVAILABLE. That alone is a bargain to me :P ... I can go on and on and on... Best experience ever! The facility is very clean and the equipment is super modern. You know they care about quality when they're using Sony Bravias as monitors. I've been scared of the dentist for the longest time, but I didn't feel any pain at all and the staff really set me at ease and answered all my questions about everything. Dr. Vo is very gentle and makes sure you're doing OK at all times, at the end she did such a great job I swear I wanted to give her a big hug, but she was busy with another patient. I know I've found my dentist for life. So if you're scared of the dentist like me make sure you go to Dr. Vo. They also have a very professional and not to mention very pretty looking staff; as a guy that's always a major plus. The dental assistant was always working side by side Dr. Vo making sure I was ok and comfortable the entire time. The prices are also very reasonable, I called around and did my shopping and other places were quoting me 3-4 times the price Dr. Vo quoted me.
