We had Pulliam Plumbing out because we kept smelling gas in our backyard. My husband took them around through the fence to our side/backyard to check the area. The two plumbers found some small leaks right away in our side yard, but the guy just WALKED RIGHT INTO MY HOUSE WITHOUT KNOCKING (through the back door) to tell us this. Not just opened the door, but walked straight into my living room until I yelled for my husband. Very concerning, especially since they hadn't been walked through the house in the first place. I was nursing my baby at the table and had I been alone in the house, it would have been a *very* concerning thing to just have a man walk in unannounced. My husband went out and looked, confirmed the leaks, and approved the repair... then came in and locked the door behind him. When the plumber was done 30 min later, he tried to just enter our house through back door again, only knocking when he realized he couldn't just barge in. Once is a mistake, twice is intentional. I emailed the owner, Glen, to let him know how uncomfortable that made me and that he needed to let his guys know that just entering people's homes isn't okay (especially when you aren't working in the house at all), but he never bothered responding. For that reason alone, I won't hire them again. Which is sad because they seemed to do great work otherwise -- but as a woman, I can't have men just barging into my house through random doors without even knocking.

I turned on the tv and started watching the sopranos. He went outside. I expected him to write up the invoice for 147,50. I went out after 10 minutes. He was just sitting there. I said, Jason my argument isn't with you. You seem to be a gentleman. Write an invoice for 147.50 and I will discuss with your office which wasn't answering his calls nor mine. He took 30 minutes to basically write a book on the invoice. I wrote that I don't agree with anything written by him on the invoice. I circled and double underlined that amount and signed it.
