There was a huge water leak on my lawn next to my neighbor. Now, this was a day before a huge winter storm was going to arrive. I called Connally Plumbing and within an hour their plumber, Brandon, arrived. My neighbor and I were both there as he figured out the problem and fixed it. It was no easy repair. He had to dig out part of the yard to find the leak. Like I said, this was not an easy job and Brandon did it like it was nothing. The final result was just tremendous. We requested them to come and take care of clogged bidet toilet. They sent two individuals to diagnose for $150. They did not have appropriate tools to remove the toilet. They charged us $150. My husband was able to remove nuts after they left without diagnosing anything. The next day all bathrooms overflowed. We called roto rooter. They diagnosed and unclogged the system. The smart toilet needed resetting. Called Connally to reset toilet. This time they sent knowledgeable person who had tools. They did charge an additional $300. read more

Today I had Connally Plumbing install a new Nelsen whole-house filter and water softener to replace the Kinetico softener that had died after just eight years. Both of the guys--like everyone I've dealt with from Connally--were very skilled at their job, respectful, and really personable. The plumber was extremely meticulous, and cleaned every copper fitting to a bright shine before installation. It was obvious he'd been trained well, and took great pride in his work. They finished replacing all the fittings (which I did not expect), and had it up and running in a little over three hours. I highly recommend Connally Plumbing Inc, they did a fantastic job and problem solved my water leak. Justin L and Josh worked their tails off digging multiple trenches four feet deep for more than five hours to find a small leak in a PVC pipe that was spilling close to 400 gallons of water an hour. This company keeps letting me down. I used to live in a rent house and they were the contracted plumbers, I dealt with some rude back and forth s from the receptionist at the time as well as the plumbers telling me multiple times that grease build up was from years of grease, but then refused to tell the owner of the home causing me to foot the bill. Then today, I chose this company based on their work, not their honesty, to install my water softener. They arrived and opened the box we had bought from lowes. They advised that it was broken and that we would have to send it back. They then left my home and gave us a 95 dollar bill for less than 15 minutes at my home. I understand a bill but for doing no work I can't believe that. I then called and spoke to the owner who refused to budge on the price stating "it was booked and gas is expensive". I'm sorry but in my opinion these people are crooks no matter if they work well or not. I would probably have been a lifelong customer for them as I live in new braunfels, but I will never give connally plumbing another chance. Disappointed. read more

My problem is with their rates, not quality of work. They gave me a cost range (high end would apply if problems or unexpected difficulties occur) and I agreed. They re-installed a dishwasher, connected a new sink drain and installed a new ice maker in my island - job took about four hours. Plumber at my house commented at the end that the job went pretty smoothly, so I expected to pay the low end of the range. They then billed me the high end amount - $1050. Quality of work was good. The connections were neat and they were careful not to scratch anything and clean up afterwards. So expect to pay top dollar for good work. read more

Another great experience...my utility company contacted me last night to tell me my water had been running for 48 hours. I could not find a leak anywhere.. Called the office just after 8 am, I was told a plumber would be at the house between 1 and 5. A little after 2 I got a call that they were on their way. Brock and Josh found the leak in under 15 minutes (the back flow valve in the yard had completely failed) and within two hours had completed an interim fix pending a new backflow valve being ordered and installed. Big shout out to Justin. I called Connally to replace our water softener. While here, I mentioned my water pressure issues. Justin was the third plumber I have spoken to about this since we bought our house 2 years ago. It's always had water pressure issues. The first plumber said he turned up the pressure at the main. The second plumber removed filters at the head of the showers. I told Justin about the water pressure and he said your prv valve wasn't working. Replaced it on the spot and told me my life will be different from now on. He was right, best shower I've had in years! read more

Called Saturday at 11 am for broken pipe gushing water in front yard. They said they would be there in about an hour and the cost would probably be between $275 and $375. JJ actually got here in 20 minutes. It took him about 50 minutes to replace the broken section of pipe. Cost $275. While that seems a little high for 50 minutes work, that was probably there minimum charge and that was what they quoted. Friendly and professional service. My wife's sink in our master bathroom was clogged plus there was a constant drip/leak from the faucet. It needed attention immediately because a woman without a functional sink can be a horrifying experience. We had used other plumbers in the past and were never happy with their work, professionalism or attitudes. We also had a leak from one of the handles in our half bath off the family room. A little research lead us to Connolly Plumbing and Justin, who answered the phone, was able to schedule us the next day. Hunter and Omar arrived punctually and went straight to work. Unlike other "quick fix" outfits, they disassembled the drain and routed it out properly. It works amazingly well now ... and they fixed both faucet leaks without a blink. They were professional, pleasant, respectful and efficient. I should mention that they had everything they needed on their large van truck, which was also impressive. I had a water leak at a rental property near Canyon Lake on a Sunday and everyone in the area was closed. Scanning Google these guys were the only ones open, or at least would answer the phone. They were on site within an hour and located the leak, forwarded pictures, estimated the cost to replace a (non standard sized) hot water heater and line, and had it replaced on Monday by 2:30 in the afternoon. They would have had it done before noon, but the heater they brought out was 2" too high and didn't fit so they had to go back to New Braunfels and pick up a new one and drive back out to the house. Otherwise they'd get a 5 star rating. They were courteous, professional, maintained contact with me, advised of water damage (scored another winner on carpet cleaning), the price reflected competitive alternatives and I felt happy to have the problem solved for the price paid. I made an appointment to have the tree roots removed from my home's drain, something that has to be done annually. The employees who arrived discovered after working about 45 minutes that they did not have enough line to reach the clog. They called someone to bring them additional line and expected me to pay for another hour of labor because they did not come to the job with the necessary equipment. Since I had no way of knowing how long it would take for them to get the equipment, I sent them on their way and paid $170 for essentially nothing. This experience gave me a very poor impression of the company and their customer service standards. read more

Had a leak in a pipe. Our usual plumber was ill so we called Connally. BIG MISTAKE! Scott gave us an estimate to fix the leak. However he did not stand by his quote and, it ended up costing over twice what we were expecting. The techs Carlos and Taylor were very nice and capable but unfortunately they are working for a company that puts greed over integrity. We were charged more for a 1 hour job than our other plumber charged for an 8 hour reroute! We will never use Connelly again. read more
