Great store and location but found out they are closing. They have everything discounted "up to" 70% off. If it was only about service, this place would never close. They charged me more for a bottle at the register than what the price was listed on the shelf. The woman behind the counter said there was nothing she could do. I found it extremely unprofessional how she handled the situation, especially since I clarified the price difference more than a couple of times. Prices here were already high on your average offerings -- maybe just a sign of the times, but I'd rather go down the street to Total Wine. Up at the front they have their "premium" selections on display. Most of the bottles have crazy markups on them. After this experience, I won't be shopping here again. read more

I've been a cognac drinker for years and it wasn't until my visit to this store location last week that I ever felt the effects of drinking top-shelf alcohol anywhere other than in my pocket! The store clerk was unable to reach the top shelf! She called another store associate over to assist and he joked that he's only slightly taller than her. Free wine tasting? Don't mind if I join. What a generous event. Eight tables of fabulous wines spread throughout the store. Even some hors d'ouvres to go along with the tasting. I tasted some fabulous wines tonight... maybe a few too many. It's a good idea to Uber here or have someone pick you up after, because the wines are flowing here. Buy a few of your favorites while you're here... I sure did... otherwise I would not have remembered all the names, despite the handout that helps you keep track of things. But aside from the wine tastings, this is quite a large store with a super selection of any kind of liquor you heart desires. read more

Although this isn't the largest liquor store I've been to, it has a nice variety of beer, wine, and spirits as well as a decent supply of the "extras" that are used in cocktails. I am slowly building my inventory of spirits for making cocktails at home, so I was looking for a specific item. I didn't see it stocked on the shelf, but when I went to the counter, they had a smaller version behind the counter which is ideal in size for my needs. Attended one of their twice monthly tastings. This one was for sparkling wines and bold red wines. Really fun. Free appetizers and many wines to try. Rsvp via Eventbrite for a count for food. We stayed to the end and we win 2 bottles of wine! We will try the spirits tasting g next tine. Fun cheap night! read more

This is my favorite liquor store. Sure, it's my favorite because it's within walking distance, but it hits all the important marks too: Tons of options. Expensive or affordable, you can find it. This liquor store hosts the best free beer, wine, and cocktails tastings for Carmel Indiana. They offer a different theme for the tastings every other week and they provide a good spread of food as well with the tastings. The giveaways for each tasting are very nice and sometimes they have nice swag as well to give to people at the tastings. The only criticism I have for this store is they need to have a bigger event space to accommodate larger crowds for the tastings. I attended the Valentine's Day tasting this past weekend and you could hardly walk around it was so crowded. They had to move a few Vendors inside the store to make enough room for people to walk around the event space. The raffles are a nice touch to encourage people to stay for the whole two hours for the tastings. The prizes are very nice and worth staying the entire duration of the tasting. I won a bottle of wine myself at the Valentine's Day wine tasting. I bought some alcohol on a few occasions at this store and was impressed with the selection of beer and wine as well as liquor at this store. The staff is very friendly and helpful at this store and willing to assist you in anyway possible with picking the right wine or beer for you. I enjoy the tastings at this store and will continue to attend the tastings as long as they are still free. They are first class all the way! read more

HUGE liquor store. All I wanted were shots of Tullamore. They had that. But they had a great bourbon selection and also the main focus was red wine. They also had a great selection of additions, like plastic cups, colorful toothpicks, pickles, shot glasses, and cherries. Wonderful. I hope to visit again. read more

21st Amendment hosts events and I always see the on Facebook and never seem to make it, that is until this weekend! You can follow them on Facebook and then they have a sign up with free tickets. Saturday's event was 6-8 and they have a event room with a large bar. This event was Race to Taste for the Indy 500 and had a wide variety of things to try. The room was pretty good size, but it was very loud! We started out with Deep Eddy Lemon and grapefruit vodka. Both were amazing! Big Machine Vodka was there and we tried it plain and with a cherry lemonade. There was also wine at the bar and I loved how the guy really told us about each selection. They also had crackers with meat and cheese. Next was wine in a can and there was beer, Jim Beam apple, and my favorite Bicardi! They had mango which was my favorite, Dragonberry, and pineapple! It was a fun night and we got to try a lot of new things. Afterwards we checked out the store and they had set all the stuff from earlier out in the order so it was so very easy to find and buy! The selection at 21st Amendment was excellent and they have large parking lot. The tasting event was key to us finding some new fun things, like who knew I'd like Jim Beam apple! read more

History buffs will appreciate the name of this business. There is a good selection of domestic & imported beers, ales, wine & spirits. We are now able to get some of the brews we've enjoyed at our favorite pubs at a fraction of the price ($5.50/bottle at the pub or $12/six pack....hmmmmmm). Much of the beer is in a large cooler with a walk in section...so no waiting for it to chill. In the back there is wine cellar which houses the more expensive wines. The sales staff are friendly & knowledgeable. Discounts are available if you have their card. The store is clean, brightly lit & well stocked. Only 2 issues: 1: It's a bit difficult too get into because of the median on 146th. Love having 21st right around the corner from home. Makes it easy when you have an emergency "B-double E-double R-U-N," as my dad calls it. They've got pretty much everything you'd need and be looking for with lots of wine, beer, and hard liquor selections. The staff is always friendly and ready to help you find something, without being overbearing on your shopping trip. The shelves are always stocked full, however there was one time the caramel vodka was all out and it was the one thing I needed (it was the day before Thanksgiving, so that's my mistake for not going earlier). Lesson learned: if you're into the festive libations, stock up well before the holiday! A 5-lb bag of ice is free with any purchase, so be sure to grab the smaller bag with the green logo in the cooler on your way out! There is a large walk-in cooler with plenty of cold beer ready to go. As for prices, they're pretty reasonable and average. Of course, you can count on the store being closed on Sundays. The staff are great but I've entered the raffle to win the Traeger smoker a dozen times in the past year and either the manager or owner have 'repeatedly!!!' Moved the date out for no reason as though their illegally farming contact info for a marketing list!?!
