They have all the wine labeled with ratings, including staff recommendations, so it is easy to pick out a good bottle of wine. The prices are reasonable because they buy in bulk and pass the savings on to the customer. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, without being pushy. I don't hesitate to ask for help. The staff gets to know you after you visit enough. I also like to buy their gift baskets, which make perfect house warming or hostess gifts. They generally have several premade baskets, but I like to have them custom made from items that I select in the store. (You can even bring your own basket.) Baskets generally take a day or two to make up, depending on the time of year. I also like to buy gift cards for my wine drinking friends' birthdays or retirements. The shop is eclectic, cozy and upscale. They offer private parking which is a plus in downtown Zionsville where parking is at a premium. The staff will help carry you wine to the car if you need. Grapevine Cottage is well worth a visit.

I peeked in the window one day and my eyes caught on a display of local B. Happy Peanut Butter - a favorite. I headed inside to explore more. That had a really cool selection of local gift baskets, international chocolates and treats, sauces, dried soup mixtures, local cheeses, quality meats, and more. They do have big rooms of impressive wines, but they also had a fridge of unique sakes in cute individual containers (including a sake juice box). There was also a wall of imported and unique beers from around the world. I found a bag of organic tagliatelle from Italy and some cool Italian chocolates that I got for my family. The owners were nice and recommended the risotto mixtures for my next visit. Can't wait to come back!

This is place to visit when you want to chat with the people behind the counter, whether it's because you want a recommendation or because you want them to help you find the perfect bottle for a gift. During my short time in the store, I was cheerfully greeted and showed around, but also left to browse by myself (which, as an introvert, I appreciated). The store is small and cozy, but they have a great selection of wine and other beverages that I haven't seen at bigger places. I ended up getting a bottle of Spanish red wine and a can of local white wine. I like to do that whole high-low thing sometimes, you know? WestClay Wine and Spirits does wine tastings and spirit tastings weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. You can keep up with their schedule on social media. I was encouraged to visit for a tasting, and was told that the tastings are super low-key and fun, and a good way to try something that might be new to me.

I was looking for a specific tequilla... and they had it! Not only that they had several tequilas open for tasting so I was able to find a new tequila that is good tasting and very smooth. The sales associates on the floor are very knowledgeable; they don't just work there, they actually know what they are talking about which is very helpful. The have wine tasting on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They also offer classes to learn about wine.

I was totally taken aback by the level of customer service I was provided. Upon entering the store, i headed to what I thought was the correct area. 2 different employees walked past and spoke to me as they walked by. I thought that was pretty nice. Then a third one went past and asked if they could help me. I told her what I was looking for and she walked me to it. I am happy she did. She showed me where the help wanted button was that I didn't see and that also wasn't labeled. But since she walked me back and identified it for me it was ok. Then an employee came back and helped me. She was very nice and pleasant and said she would have my order up front at the registers. Even the cashier was both nice and friendly. Each employee I encountered gave me a high level of customer service. I also liked the fact that the store was very neat and clean and very organized. I can tell by this location that customer service is very important to this company.

After having a drink we loved at SNUGG in Irvington (which had a specialty liqueur we'd never heard…read moreof) we made a special trip to Total Wine to try to replicate it at home. It's an Irish spirit called Shankey's. We were happy to find it there. They also have a nice selection of THC/Delta 9 drinks. Probably the best selection I've seen in Indiana. The employees are also SO helpful and welcoming especially when we bring our dog with us! Sometimes there are tastings and samples. It's a fun store with so many options and if they don't have what you're looking for they will try to order it for you.

When you walk in the checkout area is to the left, not sure if they get robbed often or what but the whole checkout area is completely behind glass. There are coolers to the back and along the right side, and warm beer on shelves across from the coolers. The selection is decent with the usual national and regional brands, as well as some of the more local breweries represented. Not much in the way of service as the employees all stayed at the checkout counter and were not terribly sociable during checkout. Overall, the place is decent, but not as good as other stores in the area

From the moment we checked in with the host stand we were impressed! We were quickly seated and greeted. Jonaz was our server and he was incredible- he made so many recommendations for us, pointed out what's popular, what he loves and explained more about the flavors working together on the menu than would meet the eye! We also got to see Pascal, one of the managers while we were there! If you frequented Patachou in Clay Terrace...you know Pascal! We enjoyed an incredible cheese board to start our meal! Fantastic drinks- as someone who is currently pregnant I LOVED that they had mocktails that were not super sweet, that seems to be tough for a lot of places to get on the menu! We also started with the Yeast Rolls which sound so simple but were incredible. Moving on we had the Harvest Salad- I had never had pickled rhubarb and it was such a great addition. The black tea vinaigrette was amazing, fresh and light- the team in the back of the house knows what they are doing and is putting the work in on creating a perfectly curated menu with flavors that WORK! For entrees I had the Foraged Mushroom Bucatini with salmon added and my husband had the New York Strip. It's been a minute since we've been somewhere that's served a perfectly cooked steak on the first shot and this was edge to edge perfectly medium rare for him. We shared a side of the Spring Green vegetables- I'll dream about them, they were amazing. Jonaz helped my husband pick out a glass of wine to compliment his entree and knocked it out of the park. Now I'm telling you- you're going to want to eat all your food but you have to save room for dessert! How can you come and not try any ice cream?!
