21st Century Pools & Spas is seriously the best place around, I am willing to drive almost 1.5 hours every week just to go here, they are by far the most helpful, caring people I have ever met! They have an absolutely wonderful service team, who really came together to help me when i made a big boo boo to my pool. I somehow thought i had a DE filter for my in-ground pool, and dumped approximately 50 pounds of DE directly in my pool, and another 25 into my sand filter, when i called the service department, I spoke to a wonderful team of people, who were willing to listen to what i had done and walk me through the process of fixing my mistakes. They had a service technician come out and help me remove all of the DE from my pool, and filter. A couple days after this, I went into the store to get some chemicals and have my water tested to see what all it was going to need after that fiasco, and the girls up front, were great, they helped me get everything I needed to re-balance my pool, gave me tips on getting the remaining DE from my pool, chatted with me and made me feel super welcome. Wow, just wow! My wife and i just bought a house in the Vestal area, and we have NO clue where to even begin with our new in ground pool, I started off by calling their service department to see if they would be the one that would be able to help us get started on opening our pool, and teaching us the process of treating it. I unfortunately got their voicemail, so i left my information hoping for a return call, which I did receive the next day from Cheyenne, she explained to me that the service department could come out and open our pool, and get the equipment running and show us how to do it ourselves, and that after that we could bring in a water test to the store, and someone up front, would be able to tell us what chemicals our pool needed, and how to disburse them properly. We brought in our water sample, because the previous owners had already had the pool opened and running, and Molly ran our water test, and showed us what our pool needed and how to do it properly. My experience with 21st Century was an amazing one! It started with me having NO clue what to do with my pool, I called the service department thinking maybe they could help me with my pool chemical imbalance, and a nice young lady Cheyenne answered the phone, told me she wasn't to help me, but she could get me to the correct person, where she transferred me to the front, and that's when i spoke to Casey who was able to walk me through the opening steps for my pool, and told me what to do, and that when i was finished with those, to bring in a water sample so they could test and see what other maintenance my pool needed. WOOWWWWW! Just wow. These guys are really, really good. 21st Century Pools keeps our pool crystal clear and the water chemistry perfect - that's a real challenge since our pool is overhung by pine trees. Pine needles, leaves from surrounding trees, pollen all present significant challenges, but the pool always looks good. All I can say is that the difference between "before" and "after." Is remarkable. AND the pool had nominally been "carefully maintained" by another pool company. The showroom is responsive and the staff is wonderul! (Casey & Jordan) have helped me tremendously. After multiple remodeling projects over the last 30 years, the two pool contractors (Keven and Gary) from 21st Century Pools and Spas are either among or are the best I have ever dealt with. During the multi-day pool membrane installation project, Keven and Gary showed up early each morning and worked literally non-stop through the end of the day. The care, concern, and attention to detail that they had for their work was clearly evident. I have been with 21st Century Pool for 12 years. They installed our pool and have been nothing but wonderful since. Their service department is very knowledgeable and responsive. I have never had to wait for service. They come quickly and solve any problems without fail. I frequently have my water tested there and they do not push chemicals. Their insight actually ends up costing you less because they do not just regurgitate what the computer spits out. They look at it and talk to you and then make intelligent revisions to the recommendations. I would recommend 21st century pools and spas over every other pool company in the area. They have very knowledgeable staff that are also friendly. They put a personal touch on everything they do and treat you as a human, not just a sale. If you bring in your water, which is a FREE test, they give you a print out of EXACTLY what your pool needs. They explain everything and are amazing at solving problems. My neighbor who also uses 21st century had a really bad water issue. They had the problem solved in less than a week and the pools been crystal clear ever sense. In short, 21st century is the best pool company in the area, hands down. read more

21st Century Pools is my go to place for all my tub and pool needs! The girls up front, Casey, Jordan and Emily have been FANTASTIC! They test my water for me and break down everything for me, as to how much of each chemical I need and when to put each thing in. Their service department is very quick and effiecent as well, I am fearing I may need a liner for my pool within the next season or two, and Cheyenne from service came up and got my information and was back with a price for me within 10 mintues.. A 1 start is not a fair review by Mr. Dan N. I know him and his recount is a total lie. It was his EX wife's house and pool, not his. He didn't even live there at the time. His EX wife kicked him out for cheating and he was living with mommy. He is a known fool, cheat and liar, I could go on about his character but i think his review speaks for itself. One of your drivers nearly ran me off Route 380 in Scranton at 8:20am and when he couldn't get in front of me instead of allowing a truck to merge in his own lane, he decided to become aggressive and ride my bumper. Not a great representation of your company while riding around in a company truck with a license plate "21stpool". Wow! I just recently got a pool, and I seriously have no idea what I am doing, so I came into the store, with NOTHING, Cheyenne was able to walk me through the entire process of what and when to do things, they tested my water and explained what it was saying and what that meant. I had 0 alkalinity in my pool (didn't know a pool even had alkalinity), I will be going to 21st Century for all of my future pool needs! read more

Overall we have had a great experience with this company. We moved into a house with a pool that we knew nothing about. We brought in water to the store and the girl tested it and gave us all the chemicals we need to fix it. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I like the location on the vestal parkway for convenience. Pricing seems fair compared to other local pool stores. They didn't install my pool but I have them do all the service I need and the guys do a good job. I like that they give free water tests in the store too read more
