I went up into the attic to look for frost on my roof decking boards as they suggested.. Sure enough there was a nice thick layer of frost. Which meant I needed some baffles installed to allow air to flow better. I did my research and found this company to be the best in the area. Jerry came out and took a look at was needed. Gave me a no fuss reasonable quote and went on his way. I approved the quote about an hour later. The quote Included pulling current insulation away from soffits and edge drip side vents, installing baffles in all rafters in the attic. Push insulation back. Then lay a nice fresh new coat of cellulose insulation. The team arrived as scheduled, they laid down protective cloth before starting any work on my home and started working. The lead tech took photos of each phase to show me the work being done. at each step. The team was super friendly, and very efficient. Now I'm no insulation expert. But from what I could tell, they did a great job. They cleaned up both inside and outside of my house very well. The office staff were also super awesome. Melissa had my appointment scheduled very quickly. In addition, she also pre-filled out all the paperwork I needed to get a rebate from consumers energy. I know for me when a company can take any stress off of you and help you with some paperwork. That's a great thing . I would highly recommend this company for your insulation needs. We are already noticing such a big difference.

So, our furnace has been working harder and more frequently to keep the house adequately heated for the past several winters. We finally got fed up of this lack of additional barrier between us and the cold outside. I was inspired by Consumers Energy offering a rebate check when insulation is upgraded by an approved vendor. I found AEE as the only Gold-star rated, licensed and insured installer in my area and approved by Consumers Energy. They earned their stars and stripes. I set up a free quote with the straight to the point and knowledgeable company owner, John. He explained his recommendations for adding about 11-12in.of fiberglass/wool blend blow-in insulation into the entire attic for a total of 17-18in., as well as having his field manager and caulk expert Mark seal all our windows and doors. He left me with a competitive quote and let me take long as I wanted to think on it and get other quotes. After a few quotes - my gut instinct gravitated me to AEE. I wanted to 'Art of the Deal' a bit with John to bring his quote closer to another competitor's. He was fair in working with me. We struck a deal. His 2-man insulation team came to our home around 10am and worked until about 4-5pm thoroughly insulating my attic. His field manager and caulking expert Mark did a great job sealing all the windows and doors for air leaks in a matter of 1-2 hours tops. They went above and beyond my expectations and were honest fellows. At one point when they realized they slightly undershot the amount of product needed for the job - they went and got more product to complete the job. John was a man of his word - he honored the contract without trying to work in the marginal unforeseen product and labor. They were thoughtful enough to blow some extra insulation into the space above our toddler's bedroom - which is definitely the problem area with our climate control. The workers used slip covers on their shoes and used towels to keep hoses from damaging walls. They vacuumed and cleared all waste after their work. Fast forward a week, and I will tell you that this was one of the best upgrades we have done for our home. The disparity in climate and cold drafts in different areas of our home is way better now. Upstairs is improved, the den stays toastier now, and the kitchen side of our house now holds heat better. A marked difference in the radiant heat comfort throughout the house. It is no placebo effect. The furnace is able to drive the temp up quicker, then the temp holds better and drops slower. So the furnace does not have to stay on as long of duration, and the interim between it firing up has increased. Savings on gas, and less wear and tear on the furnace too! Wish I had done this back when we bought the home. Better late than never. Highly recommend AEE. Just follow the simple steps I detailed above, get the work done, and get that rebate. You will have a top notch upgrade, at a great bottom line price. Two thumbs up!

I had an extensive energy audit performed, indoor air quality check, insulation installed, window caulking, rim joist seal/insulation, thermometer replacement, and various other home improvements. This was after the cost vs. benefit was explained to me with the supporting data. Once everything was completed, they walked me through the utility company rebate and tax credit process to ensure I received the full benefit of all work performed. Ultimately, I made money from the inspection and walked away with a house that was significantly more energy efficient with lower utility bills. It's a shame that it's so rare to find great companies with great people nowadays. AEE (John and Mark in particular) were super professional, friendly, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. It was an absolute pleasure working with them and I was able to learn quite a bit. These guys are not your typical salesmen, they are subject matter experts and come with only the highest of recommendation from me!

Caleb was very knowledgeable about the product and how to do a professional installation which required some experience as there were three sections of the ceiling and different angles. Caleb also installed our ceiling LED lighting as well. The install included all of the drainage, down spouts, and aluminum finish work around the drainage to make it look top notch. On the same project we had Caleb do some finish work on our Trex deck (when the original contractor wasn't available) by adding Trex fascia boards, installing powder coated aluminum wraps around seven columns, and install Trex lighting fixtures in all of the aluminum wraps. We were ecstatic with the work that Just Rite did on our deck. The ceiling is awesome, the lighting is great, and we love the look of the black aluminum column wraps and how Caleb custom made black aluminum covers for the ceiling drainage to match the column wraps. We would definitely recommend and hire Just Rite again for anything we need for a deck, Zip-Up ceiling, Trex, and deck lighting. They did a great job!

The scope included removing old Insulation, replacing ductwork and re-plumbing. After they finished, I found insulation still hanging under the home. They returned a second time to remove it. I then had a licensed InterNACI examine the work. Inspector found that insulation remained, pipes were exposed and recommended having a qualified professional evaluate and complete the necessary repairs. Leftover insulation creates a risk of mold and other issues. Everything seems to be working after re-plumbing but all the pipes are exposed. I was also told the ductwork would be new, but later learned existing duct was repaired instead. Caleb stated this type of underbelly work is their specialty. Based on my experience, I would not hire them again and would not allow them back to do further work. I payed top price and expected quality workmanship. Unfortunately, I will be paying thousands more to finish the job.
